Water movement is your biggest key bro. Little or no tide flow and the fish shut off. Once you get movement the fish start chewing.
Yea I feel like we were catching fish where the water was moving for sure. Where are they when the water is NOT moving though?? Lol

Those hook up baits worked really well for me i used the anchovy color but 1.5 oz sandy,calicos love them up this way👍🏽🤙🏽
Oh nice yea I’ve wanted to try that color. I’m about to order some heavier ones like that too. Sandy’s definitely love those bigger tubes. I had some luck on a similar bait as a HUB and it was this light blue color. Sandy’s and calico were eating it up.

I think with headlamps or lantern would help but there's always pros and cons with it. I wish gopro came with nightvision mode right 😜😜
Yea that’s about how my first attempt went the one and only time I tried at MDR at night lol. May just need to use a different camera that sees in the dark better

Your videos are way inspirational. I'm a surf fisherman, but restrictions on parking, beach access and masks in public have bummed me out a bit. (No political intent behind that statement. The vibe is just different now.) I bought a Pelican Catch 100 and look forward to smashing spotties. Kinda worried about falling out, though. 🤣 Good job on that PB!

@@DudefishhTV I'm equidistant from MDR and Channel Islands. It's going to be a coin toss. Not sure which is more beginner friendly. It's the launch that worries me. I surfed for 25 years before my knees exploded, but the launching a kayak looks sketchy at best. Wish me luck!
