Batch recording and having a good folder of common B-roll media definitely speeds up my process! All good tips here, though!
We all know how hard it is to be consistent but something that helped me was to always remember that the dollar I make now is a dollar I don't have to work for in the future.
Consistency in everything is key.

I struggle a lot with the doing part. I have more ideas than I can ever use, but I typically end it there. I think consistency is the most important thing when it comes to content creation.
Yeah I have 20 ideas loaded up but I only have 3 videos in 2 months and I struggle thinking it needs to be perfect
@@tayyjayypuppets7677 I just posted a new article on one of my sites. It wasn't 100 percent perfect, but it was my first article on it. Tomorrow I'll work on getting another. You get better over time, so don't be afraid to post something even if you think it's crappy. Posting something is better than nothing
I always think I’m gonna upload on a certain day every week and then 2 weeks pass, then 3 weeks. It’s super hard for me to stay consistent, but I’ll try to push myself. Thank you for the video!
I appreciate these tips on creating content consistently - it's something I've struggled with in the past. Time management and batching content have made a significant difference for me. @@RobertoBlake Time management, filming more videos when you're in the mood, making a list of future videos and ideas, not turning big ideas into every video rather focusing on improving smaller ones, optimizing video descriptions, titles and thumbnails before even filming, picking a simple outfit for channel rather than thinking what to wear everyday, creating the asset library to make editing easier, doing a research on changes in CZcams that could affect you and your channel. I can't pick out a single thing that helped the most. Everything helps in it's own way.

This is very helpful! My favorite tip was filming b roll at any time because you can remove the sound and filming all other video during quiet time exclusively. I feel much less overwhelmed about creating a schedule. Thank you Roberto!

This is actually the same way that I structure things to go out on my channel. I find it helps a lot when you might not have the most motivation to make something right away.

I want to prove to people that you can in fact do quality and quantity. These videos take about 2 hours to edit like this. They are filmed in near real-time even with no scripts. This format can be sustained with even faster edits for some people. And people could go live too and be daily or near daily. I think 2-3x a week is sustainable even for people who work if they plan correctly.

Wow...I love that you mentioned at about 12:50 that you DON'T WRITE A SCRIPT, BUT JUST DO BULLET POINTS! I know this is probably something that differs from person to person, but so many CZcamsrs say one MUST write a script, but I'm like you in that it helps me stay on point if I have bullets, but scripting bogs me down (keeps me from creating videos)!
I think practicing your material and knowing what you’re talking about us more natural but other types of content might demand a script

Good afternoon, I just joined your academy and was wondering if the training videos are updated as much as the youtube videos or not?
This is easily my biggest barrier to growing on CZcams
Since I normally know what I'm going to draw. But since my channel is a drawing and painting channel where I do fan art and art studies of games. I can't really make the title card until I complete the drawing part of the video. So I have a standardized template that I use for all of my speed paints and drawing videos. Ideas for videos are easy.

I'm with you on basically being blind, I can't see the broad side of a barn, as the old expression goes. I keep a giant tablet just out of the camera's view with simple but effective bullet points to make sure I cover everything.

For me is a bit challenging because my channel is about motocross so to film b roll i have to be physically active on the track which happens 2 times a month, I may have to do other motocross related content on those days im not on the track

These tips are all helpful and time management is super important. Your point about recording after work makes a ton of sense and that’s one I will implement soon. What’s your take on videos around time sensitive or trending topics? Should you rush to create the content first or take a slower approach to do the proper research and video editing?
I think it’s not either or. I think for example you can do breaking news as a short or a live stream. Jumping on things is easier when you’re always setup.
In a niche having contacts and sources but also alerts setup helps.

Hi Roberto, do you have a video on the cadence for uploading videos as a brand new channel? Is it best to upload 5-6 videos in bulk in the beginning just to have videos on the channel for new users to "semi-binge", or should we space it out with uploading 2 or 3 videos per week instead of dropping a bunch at once?
I work a 9-5 then I hit the gym afterwards then after that lol get home and eat and then make lunch for tomorrow for my shift and finally after that I set aside a hour or two to record and then I outsource for editing because I'm currently enrolled in a real estate course. What a day for me phew LOL

Consistency is my biggest challenge

What have I learned? That I didn't think about Motion Graphics. Times to research more!
First time I think I have to say I disagree, but it's because of my personal circumstances. As a single mother, quiet time is the ONLY time I can do anything, editing or otherwise. My kid is young and can't really be left on his own for me to tune out with headphones and edit.
I feel for timing a big thing is to actually notate what each evening's project part is for. Maybe Monday night is research on key words. Tuesday is scripting. Wednesday is rehearse/practice and re-research. Thursday is recording. Friday and Saturday is editing. Sunday is release, etc. That has helped me overall. Of course moving twice in 4 months hasn't made keeping on track easy but I'm getting there...
Definitely like the idea of thumbnails ahead of time. Do you feel that there's any weight to a thumbnail photo having the same outfit/hair style

Being consistent does help. Am no where near 1k subscribers, but I do see some growth on my channel. Whenever you have the time. Use that time to create and upload videos. That what I do lol

I work full time. Sometimes it takes me 4-8 hours to edit one video. But I'm having fun with editing! So far I manage to upload one video a week.
how much in advance do you decide the title, description, tags? I feel like maybe you don't plan too far ahead cause if it's in place before you film, chances are by the time you upload there's competition for your keywords
