First you appreciate the Octopath Traveler series, and then Hollow Knight. My first and second favourite games of all time respectively. The only game you would need to round out the trio is Subnautica lmao Fr though, these videos are ridiculously high quality, especially for a small channel. You just earned a subscriber.
I never saw this video pop up on my feed when it came out but appreciated the longer style. was considering revisiting the first game aswell before the sequel came out, looks like I still have some time 😂. hopefully this video picks up traction again when silksong comes out!

Square Enix seems very tied to the expectations that it has cultivated among the public for Final Fantasy games, and this becomes very clear when the elements that make up 15 and 16 are clearly dissonant, causing this sensation of an incredible and mediocre game at the same time. I would love for them to compromise a little on budget/size, in exchange for a little more creative freedom for the development team. It's just depressing that the current CEO of SE is an idiot who still talks about NFT and blockchain, and obviously doesn't know how to measure sales expectations.
