GROHE So after years, high spout started to get really hard to rotate. I guess its due to hardened water and limescale, but since the water doesnt flow through it im not so sure. Also on that brass part of the mixer the high spout attaches on, upper ring is of rubber and lower one metallic (that one hangs a bit and is not fully closed ring but more like horseshoe only round), not like in the video.
Can you tell me the purpose of those rings, so i could make a better conclusion on whats wrong?
Hello Ivan,

so all taps now has those hoses attached ?......so water no longer make any contact with the inside of the tap body ?................wouldn't the hoses more prone to leaking ?
I am having this same issue - was Grohe able to help?
How do you get a wrench on the brass tightening nut when it’s way up behind the double sinks??????
Any ideas?
@@Harcix not so far. 😒
I presume I fit the weight to the spray hose (Grohe Minta) underneath the sink but when I do it catches the water mains. Any suggestions?
Hmm... yeah that's an issue. You find a solution?

This video doesn't cover how install a screw on top part like my grohe kitchen sink. When The unit was installed, the top metal part that is shaped like an upside down j wasn't screwed in. Trying to figure out how to unassemble this just enough to loosen the top half of the kitchen sink
Hello Abe,
we are sorry but we do not fully understand what you are trying to achieve here. We think it's best if you contact your local GROHE branch to get support. You can find them via this page:

How can you spin the tightening nut? Video shows it gliding on
First you screw in by hand, then you tighten with a wrench.
@@GROHE how?! How can you screw that thing on with the hoses in the way? The CGI video has it gliding on but that's clearly impossible in real life
The bear claw shaped nut is shown gliding on in the video. Then a nut is screwed on
In real life you cannot spin the bear claw nut because hoses prevent it.
This is a garbage product with no thought at all put into installation
@@KamilAndrzejczak any luck installing it? I am facing the same issue .. also my unit did not come with a nut, just the bear claw part
Is it normal that the pipe is tight to get it out of the mixer please ? I've just installed it .. maybe it's for the first time ?
@Francesco gauci, we're unsure what you mean. Can you please send us product pictures so we can understand what is the problem? In any case you can also contact GROHE customer service team in your country: www.grohe.com/en/corporate/grohe-in-your-country.html. Kind regards,

exactly... the spray hose original and the replacement that Grohe sent me do not fit through the mixer stack because the diameter of the threaded end that the quick connect screws to is the same diameter as the mixer stack. You can't feed a 9mm diameter hose through a 9mm diameter hole.
My unit did not come with a nut. It came with a tightening shim and a white plastic thing that looks like a "gear"
I cant slide the tightening shim through the threaded rod at all, the hoses are preventing it.. am I following wrong instructions?
Dear Hesham,
in this case please contact the GROHE customer service in your country. Where are you located?
Kind regards,

@@GROHE Egypt, it's worth mentioning that the part number of my unit is 3291800e. Are the installation instructions different than the ones shown in the video?
Dear Hesham, we recommend you contact GROHE Egypt directly:
Email: Service.MENA@grohe.com
Phone: 19013
Please tell them which model you acquired and when. If you choose to send an email, it would be helpful if you attach your invoice and a picture of the current scope of delivery, especially the items for the attachment. On this basis our colleagues can check if the content is complete or not. of course you can also send a video.
Our colleagues will be happy to help!

Duh my mistake I now see it does not have one
You have it half right. Now how many of us are installing sink faucets on new sink? You should have shown how to remove the old faucet.
You're unbelievable
so all taps now has those hoses attached ?......so water no longer make any contact with the inside of the tap body ?................wouldn't the hoses more prone to leaking ?
Hello, we are not sure what you mean. Fittings with a pull-out spray are always connected to a hose.
In this case, the water no longer has any contact with the body of the fitting.
Kind regards,

@@GROHE what if kitchen faucet is not a pull-out ? ...............

You forgot to fit the weight
Why is the faucet crooked? With the tightening rod located on the handle side it appears to be pulling it crooked. @4:01 you can see the faucet is not sitting level.
Dear Josh, thank you for your interest in GROHE.
It looks more like an optical illusion in the video and the faucet isn't crooked. If you have difficulties with the assembly, you should email your responsible local GROHE contact. Thank you! Kind regards, Your GROHE Social Team
@@GROHE Lol nice try. 10 crooked faucets that lean to one side isn't a coincidence but poor design. Fluids better
Step 2, around 1:55-2:00 this just doesn't happen, the hose cannot go down because there's not enough place in the body. Where the handle is there's an obstacle that blocks the way and prevents the hose from sliding down. What the what?? Model Start Curve
This is BS. Step three impossible how is that oddly shaped nut supposed to "slide" right in like the cgi. It's supposed to turn but the hoses are clearly in the way.
Hello Elizabeth, thank you for your comment. We checked the video again, but couldn't find any errors. According to our technical department, the CZcams videos are always checked to ensure that the installation is correctly displayed and carried out.
If you have problems with the assembly of the valve, we recommend that you get support from an installer who can take a look at it on site.

Hold the bear claw beneath the sink and get someone to screw in the bolt through the tap above the sink
Really?
What a horribly designed fixture.
Have these people ever tried installing their stuff in a customers home?
I bought this garbage the water tight seal don't hold the faucets just keep working themselves loose I removed this garbage and installed a set of Moens High quality no problems since
Funny i had no such problems for years.
