@@shaanishyper3549 yeah, only because it will be a milisecond faster and a little more reliable, but f1 is a sport of entertainement, and even the drivers themselves want v12 back
@@bestof5828 not really ... those high notes wheren't so loud ... The V12 was louder with lower rev ... and the V8 are also louder . You Think it is louder because the notes are so high
Congratulations. Nothing can compare to being there in the flesh but this comes closest. FWIW...I only attended one race, 1988 Rio. I had no earplugs. It was the turbo era and it was deafening. I now suffer from tinnitus though I have no way to know if it was from that. Nevertheless, my recommendation is to wear ear protection if you are lucky enough to attend. And I was at the end of the straight where cars were approaching 330 km/hr and breaking incredibly late. You're better off in the slower turns where the cars are not flat out. listen to the two vantage points in this clip.
I’d like to see one of these, with good quality video, and especially sound, when, say,...... ‘93-4, they were running V-8’s, 10’s, and 12’s! Talk about LOUD 5-figure rpm screaming!
You should rename this video to “What DID an F1 car sound like?” 😂
This was 2012 in the V8 era, sooo technically for this guy it was now...
@@shaanishyper3549 that's why he said he should rename it...
What F1 *used to* sound like
Its so sad how they had to switch to the v6's

I can't imagine what the v12's sounded like?!?!?!? These are only v8!
Ikr
Cylinders doesn’t make the noise ... its the RPM and those V8 where revving higher than the old V12s 18k vs 15k
The loudest was the old v10‘s with 20.000 RPM

Watch 19Bozzy92's video of the Ferrari 412T2
I got into F1 this year but hearing this sparks emotions that I’ve never felt listening to the v6 hybrid.
Congratulations. Nothing can compare to being there in the flesh but this comes closest.

Best f1 experience = behind the car
just wait 'till next year. turbocharged v10's. the whine of the turbo mixed with that powerful sound of a v10 will be unreal.
Will NA V4 sound like this?
I have this straight sound as ringtone on my phone
Bit cringey but k
they should have kept the v8,s
