    One of the things I hate about modern F1 is how all of the billboards are the same for every race. Should have some sort of regulation to allocate some space for national or local products.

    • @FieldTestedSemenKun
      @FieldTestedSemenKun Před 6 lety +15

      F1 is a business. Therefore the billboards shown are those who sponsor or are partnered with F1. They wouldn't just go about putting up billboards just because they're local businesses. That's not how sponsorship and marketing works.

    • @MrNinjaFish
      @MrNinjaFish Před 6 lety

      That's the trouble really. An F1 Grand Prix (or a Grand Prix in general) is meant to be the biggest event in motorsport for any country that hosts one, but it rarely reflects on it's impact for domestic racing.
      Mind you things might change. I hope that the proposals for bringing back a genuine F2 championship and non-championship races go through because F1 needs that sort of thing not just to generate cash, but to encourage greater investment and for new teams to have a sane reason for entering F1 without going bankrupt a la Manor and Caterham et cetera.
      Places like Europe wouldn't have F1 Grand Prix it it wasn't for their national racing scene. America used to serve as a grand example of a healthy domestic market for motorsport, which is why F1 still struggles to break even in North America.

      Krisztián Some guy I found on YT thinks that similar to WRC in order to get some more fuel saving in, the cars cut 2 pistons off during cornering. It makes sense, because whenever both are idling, the pops begin!

    Now I see the point of those FOM cameras. The cars move so damn quick.

    I actually like the sounds of these cars. It's something in the upshifts. They just keep coming and coming. Why don't they make them 9 gears or 10

      Itd be a waste. Tbh 6 gears is enough for most cars

      Thanks! No man, I'm sorry. Weather forecast for Friday said heavy rain and frequent thunderstorms during the day. When I woke up there were dark clouds in the sky so I decided to keep my binaural equipement home for precaution. Then it turned into a beautiful sunny day -.-""

    To be honest it sounds "good". Not screaming like V10s, but still good

  • @maur7432
    @maur7432 Před 4 lety

    the problem isnt the loudness of the sound, its the sound itself. you just expect high pitched screaming from an F1 car but these engines just dont deliver it

    Yesterday I was there to see the free practice. My wife, who is not interested in motor racing, was with me.
    She asked me: " Why the smallest cars ( ...Formula 2 ) sounds louder than Formula 1 ? ".
    Great question.
