Have you done a video on all the walkable neighborhoods in and around Raleigh? I'd love to see that.
We haven’t yet but it’s been on our list for a while so we’re hoping to do it soon!
Wait Costco is coming to the Fuquay area?
Yes. At ten ten and 401 so right between Fuquay and Garner.
Continue this content! It is truly stellar! So informational, will definitely be looking to buy in these areas with Chris soon!
Thanks so much!
Love your videos. Very honest with tons of great information. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this information it’s very helpful
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching our channel!
Appreciate the Video ! keep them coming
Thank you!
The thing about getting anywhere from Fuquay, if you are planning on living there for a while Raleigh outer loop, NC-540 is under construction. Once the next section opens in a couple of years it will be much easier to get to RTP, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and the airport.
That's a good point. It will alleviate a lot of the traffic, but with all the growth that will happen between now and then, I don't see it ever getting much better than it is now.
Always enjoy watching Chris. He really does his homework and can tell you anything you need to know about Raleigh and the surrounding towns. Will definitely buy a home from him!!
We just bought a home in Fuquay and the neighborhood is in this video. You can't go wrong with Chris. He is truly the ultimate professional! 💪
Thank you!
Thank you so much, Michael!
If your ever on the Garner side, come by Agri Supply and get some good hot dogs from the hot dog cart setup there!
Fuquay Varina is my hometown! It’s getting way too packed now! The town is not big enough for all the people that move here and traffic is always terrible!!! The neighborhood shown in the Fuquay Varina clip is actually the neighborhood I grew up in!
Yep, it's definitely getting busier
Fuquay has been hijacked and hasn’t been the same!
Thats how places grow it is great area and has all potential to grow as Cary Morrisville
I looked at Fuquay Varina and it is way over hyped to be so isolated. You can easily get anywhere in North Raleigh and Wake Forest and fast from Rolesville and it’s faster to get to RTP from Rolesville. I can get to downtown Raleigh in 20 minutes.
You forgot to mention that Fuquay-Varina has two downtowns. Both are pretty cool.
Yep. Pretty cool
Enjoying your videos for a while. Are there any 1 BDR apartment rentals in those suburbs? If not what are the best places outside of Raleigh for rental? Thank you.
Yes, all of these suburbs should have 1 bedroom apartments. It really depends on the price point. Generally, the further you go, the more you get for your money.
just moved here from South Jersey and I loved watching all the informative videos 📹 😀 👍🏼 great job
Thank you
Fuquay Varina is my hometown! It’s getting way too packed now! The town is not big enough for all the people that move here and traffic is always terrible!!!
Sorry
Thank 🍎
At some point, DOT is going to need to add a couple lanes to 55/Main Street in Fuquay. There are several new communities under construction and the traffic is only going to get worse.
Surprised you haven’t talked about the redistricting of Fuquay-Varina, Apex, Garner, Holly Springs and Raleigh combined and how terrible it has become over the years!
I’m actually gonna start a petition and get 5,000 people to sign and have an Annex law passed so that a certain amount of people can or can’t move to the area. I’m tired of the flood gates opening.
Hi Chris. Do you work with mom-pop investors? If so, what is the extent of your MLS coverage in Raleigh and adjacent zones ?
Yes, the entire Triangle. Email us at info@themortongroup.com.
You said costco is coming on outskirts but i dont see any new about it when exactly is it coming or exact location where it is coming. Do you have any idea on that?
The construction has already started. It’s at 401 and Ten Ten road.
Just won a house in Rolesville and we're super excited. The best part is that we're keeping our Cary house as a rental property! Good luck to all the house hunters out there!
If we buy a new house in fuquay now , will it increase or decrease once this seller market is down?
No one knows for sure what is going to happen. Our prediction is that homes will still appreciate but at a much slower rate once everything levels out.
How did you hear about the upcoming Costco?
It was announced a while ago. It will be at 401 and ten ten road.
We used to say CARY stood for CONTAINMENT AREA FOR RELOCATED YANKEES.....BORN IN WENDELL RAISED IN KNIGHTDALE
People who say that __ jealous it's not a part of their address. :)
Good story
Next ATl traffic going to be horrible glad I wfh
Traffic is getting worse
I live in fuquay but pittsboro is another one
Pittsboro isn't exactly a Raleigh suburb, it's about 30 miles away.
We considered adding this to the list. But it's pretty far away and disconnected from the Triangle.
@@LivinginRaleighTV ya true
@@LivinginRaleighTV Well... if you work in RTP or Chapel Hill Pittsboro isn't that far away, but it is from Raleigh.
It’s a bit far from both of those and really far from Raleigh.
Fuquay Gun & Gold is the best thing in Fuquay. I bought my Sig P365 there.
Thanks for sharing
I got my M&P 9c there
We are looking at moving to the Raleigh Area from out of state. We want to be find a home around 180k-200k, but we know that is too low for in Raleigh. Is there anywhere within a 30 minute radius with a good school system or community we should look at? In addition, Do you have any tips for planning our move?
You can definitely find a home in that range. It really depends what features you need in the home. Please send us an email to info@themortongroup.com and we can provide more specific info based on the size of the homes, etc.
I haven't seen a good looking home for that price in a gd neighborhood. I would live to see these houses.
I just moved here from out of state… you would be disillusioned to find a home in that price range in good school..
school drive market prices..
maybe rent?
Yankees: "Foo-quay."
“FEW-quay” 😉
How bout ijustfarted-quay
Child please the northerner have been knocking shit down there. Left right and center, deers have no where to go for years🙄
Heck town lol
??
Don’t forget to add how bad the traffic is with all this instant population.
Traffic is getting worse. We talk about it all the time. One of the downsides to growth.
The triangle and triad area will be booming in 5 years
It’s already booming! More to come
Vids like this make me sick people trying to let Northerners move down here and make it as bad down here it is up north
Sorry, but people are going to keep moving here from all over whether we make videos or not. We have several videos educating about the culture and politeness of NC, what not to do when moving here, reasons why you shouldn’t move here, etc.
Charles don’t worry. I don’t think any of the northerners that are coming down here want anything to do with you lmaoooo
“Let?”. Who do you think you are? You, like the rest of us, are nobody’s. Just live your life and mind your business.
Seek and fine our Lord Jesus Christ accept him as your personal savior he loves you God bless you
I have been to raleigh several times but i still dont get it why are people moving to raleigh ? There is nothing but newly built homes, and its all construction all over, lots of people, packed bar wherever you go, good trails for sure and nothing else. Trust me there is nothing in Raleigh to pay that price for home. And if you are someone who travels and use airport often raleigh is not a place. And if you are flying internationally flying to raleigh actually feel like flying to rural area of mexico where there is no connecting flight. I had to ask my parents fly to DC and go pick them up driving 5-6 hours to catch an international flight.
Btw the raleigh downtown sucks its a hood. Charlotte has amazing downtown.
Curious where you think is a better place where you can still get a nice 4 bedroom home for under $500K and what that area has that Raleigh doesn't have. People like the mild winters, the central location, how approachable the city is without being overwhelming, and on and on.. It's expected to have layovers on most international flights in a city the size of Raleigh.
@@LivinginRaleighTV if you think a house price determines a quality of your life, that’s probably for you not to others. All i am saying is raleigh offers good homes, but poor infrastructure, nothing more to do other than drinking and eating at bar, restaurants. definitely a airport sucks if you travel for work, if a flight gets canceled, you will have to wait until next day, and i have heard a lot of those stories.
And housing price are way expensive compared to what city offers. Have you looked in to downtown ? It’s still a hood.
A 1350 sq ft in raleigh cost $350k lol 😂 and if you look at rent you aint make a penny or rather pay out if your pocket if you are an investor.
Lol, the whole state of NC is a pure joke. Charlotte is terrible as well. I’m from Raleigh and can’t stand either. South Carolina for one has better cities.
@@pokhreis My hometown is located in rural Columbus County which is about 130 miles from Raleigh. Wilmington is the largest city in my part of the state. I moved to Raleigh in 2018 in order to attend classes at Wake Tech and work at a pharmaceutical company. I had never been to this part of the state before then, and I had no idea how expensive the houses and apartments are up here. I found out that one needs to have a good paying job to live in this area. I have met some people that are working on jobs that only pay around $12.00 to $13.00 per hour. There is no way that you can afford one of those $300,000 or $400,000 houses when your weekly salary is less than $500.
I found a real estate agency that rents out individual apartment rooms. My apartment building is not fancy, and I have to share it with 3 room mates but it's in a quiet area and the rent is only $425 per month. I plan to stay in the Raleigh for 5 to 10 years at the most. I will try to save as much money as possible while I am here and then I will move back to Columbus County and work in Wilmington. I am fortunate because my family owns 9 acres of land in Columbus County and there is plenty of space for me to build a house. I feel bad for the working class and lower income people that can't leave the Raleigh area because their family doesn't own any land
