*Re-upload from yesterday, Sony Vegas older render skipped 3 fights due to avi dumb issues from mame rr encode. Now it has been fixed.

We finally have a first regular Mame emulator TASable, it was released some months ago (March) by a tasvideos member feos who I have to thanks. I watched some mortal kombat arcade tas videos those days searching on internet and my friend has one of them and told me how mame works, sadly it still a single 0.139 version with some tools, slowdown isn't implemented yet, we just has frame advance to work. Even so a great job.
Hope future arcade new mks, killer instinct and sfs TAS videos from me now, it's my first time bringing one of my favorite games from my childhood, enjoy watching what Jack Chan ops Liu Kang can do.

This was the most sweetest revenge watching these cheating computer players finally get what's coming to them. They have cheated with their automatic responses forever. It's nice seeing them receive the same treatment after all these years. Made my heart warm.

Man, it's so satisfying watching someone put the MK2 A.I in it's place.
Normally I'd feel bad for the A.I getting floored by TAS players, but I can't for a bit feel bad for the MK2 A.I.
When cornered by projectiles, they will duck down and slide across the floor to grab you. They deserve every combo.

Douglas Salazar Não tinha mesmo, só que o membro feos da tasvideos lançou um beta do mame 0.139 cujo tem frame advance, frame display e talz.
Mas ainda é um emulador experimental onde jogos como umk3 da um desync surreal e torna-se quase impossível de se tasear, já mk2 e mk4 por exemplo dão desync a cada um round apenas. Espero que volte com tudo, você tem bastante o que crescer aqui na comunidade é é certo que você o alcançara logo.
Dark Noob pensei que dava pra fazer isso em qualquer plataforma que rodasse jogo, mas então tem uma jogada ai que não sabia, o tal de taz...

If my memory serves me correctly, Liu Kang's bicycle kick is performed by holding down low kick for 2-3 seconds and then releasing.
How is it possible to do this twice, back to back without having to recharge?

The most I can make is *More Kombat to Kome* which is likely means that Ed Boon and John Tobias would be up for making a third Mortal Kombat installment, and they eventually did. Nowadays, when I think of MK3, it's usually Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, since the original's roster cut some veterans like Scorpion and Reptile.
I understand that TAS tools allow you to play the game at like one frame per second and what not, but Liu Kang’s bicycle kick requires holding a button for longer than a second, so how do you pull off consecutive bicycle kicks?
No, it's more like one input per frame at 60 fps so it's already holding it before the bicycle kick is started.

How do you manage to get your TAS to record all the way? I'm using the same emulator you used to make this, but when I try and watch mine, it stops saying it was 'out of sync'. Any idea how to fix that? Thanks.
You need to play around frame by frame without setting to normal speed, also every time you would playback check if the emulator has been paused before playback.
If you did every step and still got out of sync, delete the .nv archives from nvram folder.
Be aware from future desyncs, this TASvideo cost at least a desync per round, nobody is freedom from desyncs while recording on mame-rr.
GlitchoGames Means you need to play the game using frame advance every time you are recording and also playbacking (I mean ALL the time), if you set to normal speed any time you're recording be sure your movie has already got out of sync.
Another tip: delete the .nv archive every time you stop a movie and close tlhe emulator, .nv archives can be found on nvram folders and should prevent from desyncs (for example: if u are recording umk3, delete umk3.nv).
