Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is a classic fighting game that's been seen before (tasvideos.org/1955M) at TASVideos. But, with each port comes a different set of bugs, and we wouldn't want to leave them out.
Here the authors break everything in sight, using both duel and cpu fights to show off as many glitches as possible. Try not to rip your heart out while watching this.

Damn, the Genesis version is more "glitchy" than the SNES version

Both are glitchy because of the limited data storage, and the Mega Drive version of base MK3 has more content than base MK3 SNES, which of course leads to more memory based glitches. And as you can see, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on Mega Drive and SNES are a disaster, especially the SNES version, since they both had to remove so much in order to fit 26 characters in a 4 MB cart and there's literally a mode that's broken on SNES.
Though if you think this is insane, try to find the other one on the Mega Drive (base MK3). Dark Noob broke the game so much, it literally gave a BSoD

@@solarflare9078 That's not how bugs work. Things glitch either because the fundamental code is flawed, or because code fails to gracefully handle broken data. Both of these cases apply to UMK3, and things obviously slipped by during testing.

@@mortenera4423 Check "Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate Arcade", which uses a (almost) 6 MB cart and adds the intro, speech clips, all stage fatalities, transitions, polishes up the game, etc.

UMK3 on the Mega Drive and SNES were awful cuz they had to cut so much content for characters (animation, voice clips, and background details). Both are very glitchy too.

These games did run at 60fps on OG hardware, though a lot of older TAS videos are limited to 30fps on YT. It's only been more recently that the TAS runs have been reuploaded in 720p, which then enables 60fps playback on YT.

The thing I find so stupid about this game is in the Arcade version of UMK3 you can't play as Rain but in The Genesis and SNES version Rain is available as a selectable character.

Graphics and sound are fine. There're specific glitches that make graphics shit bricks all over the screen (and possibly crash the game in the process).

Gotta say… despite Dark Noob and KSYLATRON'S best efforts, this version of the game just refused to break in the way that its Super NES cousin does. And that's kind of impressive.
