The developers decided to spell his name as Rayden (with a Y instead of the usual "Raiden" with an I) in the home console versions of the arcade MKs, as there was an arcade game series called Raiden and they feared they'd get sued for the name use. Or so they say, as dumb as it may sound to some.
Funny, I always assumed when I was younger that the slower music was due to playing in PAL. I was pretty surprised to find out later that it's a universal issue.

I have always believed that the MK trilogy was an incomplete game. I notice characters like Johnny Cage and Raiden are just copy and paste from MK 2. Just something about the game does'nt feel right. Mk unltimate feels far different from MK trilogy.
