Nuzlocke rules: name your pokemon so you form emotional attachment
Freezai: I will number these tools so that I can throw them away when it's necessary
Some nuzluckers: no, not voltorb! He had such a long life to live!
Freezai: you and 90% of your friends will die, but thats a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
I think he named them after the routes they were found on
@@astra3766 hey routes 113 to 115, commit suicide for 30% damage on one guy.
top tier comment im dying lmao
"No cost is too great"
Intentionally letting Claydol live so that you can kill Metagross with Perish Song + Shadow Tag was absolutely insane. This entire run was probably the most impressive abuse of trainer AI i've ever seen.
get a look at emerald kaizo nuzlockers then
The mechanics are on point with a good EK battle, but the major difference is basically just not having EVs to maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses. Also EK is having to do it for 400 battles whereas in Emerald it's mostly just 10 or 12 battles.
@@swift3520 nuzlockers? Isbt there only one who done it
@@meticakolli1237 💀
@@meticakolli1237 According to a few sources, the first person ever recorded to beat an EK Nuzlocke is Gian_97 in early February of 2021. After that, people like Jan from Pokemon Challenges and WolfeyVGC soon followed to become among the first people recorded to beat an EK Nuzlocke in that same year.

Jeez Freezai, way to sound like a supervillain
Should have said overgrown
Badumtss
I was like "Bro chill"
This was so cold
@@nathbregou27 and Grass Typing is weak to cold
That sounded ruthless.
His name is one letter off from Freeza after all
Normal Nuzlock: "I hate to do this, but I have to sacrifice you treeco. I'M SORRY!"
Freezai: "Treeco has outgrown its usefulness and I dispose of it."
Guts taillow was insane
Love how he’s just like “Shroomish is good, Taillow is good and Slakoth can be traded for something good.”
That Perish Song Swablu into Wynaut Shadow Tag strat was pretty sick, great video.
Yeah it sure was.
Yeah, Mirror Coat/Counter could potentially KO Metagross if it does enough damage to you if you got lucky to kill it before the end of the Serenade from Swablu. That's where Focus Sash on Wynaut comes in then Counter that Earthquake Metagross threw at you.
@@ItsFireTigersash was introduced gen 4. Focus band is only 10%
28:07 "And the AI's smart enough to know what that means. But it isn't smart enough to know what's about to happen next."
Bro that line was ICE COLD.
This deserves a lot more views, the strats are so fucking genius but viewers can easily understand them because you explain them extremely well. Being able to use a fucking MAGIKARP to whittle down Altaria to a point where it can be OHKO'd and intentionally letting Claydol live so you can perish song + shadow tag trap the Metagross blew my goddamn mind and those were one of the best plays I've seen in my life.
The editing is great too. A 30 minute video usually feels like something I have to slog through, but here the pacing was so good that time just flew by while I was getting more amazed by the minute.
The Weird Purple Ball On HORSEA😂😂😂Guts Tailow, Shadow Tag Wynaut and Belly Drum Shadow Ball Zigzagoon were definitely the highlights for me. the Encore Strat on Gym 7 was very competitive and entertaining to watch too, as I would've probably never even thought of something like this lmao💯👌
white herb on Tailow for the Mightyena intimidate was something low-key that was cool too
We need a Platinum Nuzlocke Freezai fr
Cool to see such weird strats! Magikarp on Winnona is a standout, obviously, but who woulda thought Splash of all things would be important in the final battle?
Guys dont worry I ran the calculations
+6 Lvl 34 252+ Atk Normal Gem Huge Power Magikarp Flail (200 BP) vs. -6 Lvl 33 0 HP / 0- Def Altaria: 1781-2096 (1935.8 - 2278.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Lol These gen 5 calcs?😂
20:55 that is some VERY clean editing 👌
Ok I finished the video now and I couldn't help but comment that that was an amazing battle against Steven.
Watching the self destruct and health manipulation strats is probably my favorite part of this series
I'm honestly impressed by your knowledge of not just competitive battling, but also the in-game mechanics of the cartridge games. I hope you do more Nuzlockes, they're really entertaining to watch.
That was such a great video you should really continue with this series .It was so much fun to watch with all of the amazing strats.
came here from pokemonchallenge's subathon, this is seriously one of the most impressive and well planned nuzlocks ive ever watched!!!
"i will name them numbers so there won't be emotional attachment"
"treecko has outgrown its usefulness so I will dispose of it"
Freezai is a good villain name imho
Absolutely insane run, my jaw genuinely dropped once I saw Wynaut in your team against Steven because I figured out your plan.
Hell yeah, let’s do more of these. It’s like watching Anderson Silva absolutely decimate his opponent but in Pokemon form
Aye nice mashing of worlds there.
Damn. That Steven strat is the definition of big brain play. Excellent run! It was really enjoyable to see all the cool strategies used
I love how every single move you make is so carefully planned out. I would definitely love to see this series continue
I‘m really enjoying these Extreme Tinylock challenges! keep up the good work :)
also, wonderful Missingno at 8:54
My guy, your content is absolutely amazing. Thanks so much for sharing - would love to see more like this (and also love seeing new stuff).
Can’t wait to keep following :)
Extremely interesting run, mainly because you used consistent strategies for every single fight (and explained them very well). A lot of similar challenge runs on other channels just rely on half dumb-luck and strong pokemon to get through it but seeing your flawless consistent strategies was a breath of fresh air and made for a very interesting video.
Im here from pokemonchallenges reaction to this video and gotta say this is the most impressive nuzlocke I've ever seen him react to. Good stuff
Loving the littlelockes! You make fantastic Pokémon content of all types, thanks for your hard work
That Parish Song into Wynaut strat was amazing! Congrats on the Emerald Littlelock completion!
love the subtle humor and long video format in these- really hope you do more soon!!!
great run as always. you use all your tools perfectly. the perish song on the metagross was really cool. it really shows your problem solving skills.
Found your channel after watching PokemonChallenges reaction to your video and I'm just as surprised as he is. Epic job, incredible strats and keep up the great work. +1 sub :D
Found your channel from pokemon challenges reacting to this nuzlocke! Absolutely insane strats, loved watching it!
Your strategies in this run were next-level. Amazing video and you’ve earned a new subscriber!
Found this via Pokémon challenges reaction video. Nice one my dude
You played this so well with so many interesting strategies! I would love to see you do more nuzlocke content.
I really enjoyed this, i hope algorithm helps this vid since i’d love to see more of these
This was a sick video! The strategies were all super creative and powerful. My favorite moment was the wynaut shadow tag trap because you never typically see shadow tag be useful in a vanilla game. Thanks for the video!!
So glad you've started nuzlocking! Your competitive-framed commentary is much appreciated. As long as you're enjoying it, I hope we continue to see content like this in future.
This is one of the cleanest Pokemon videos I've ever seen. Great job and excellent video
Coming from PChal's reaction to congratulate you on an awesome feat. Incredibly creative strategies, clear and concise explanations, and the balls to walk up to Steven afterwards.
Yo, just came from the react video to drop a like and comment and sub. This planning and run was absolutely nutty.
Really well played, I'm super impressed by the amount of planning for the late game as early as you started!
Amazing job! Really nice strategies. You clearly spent a lot of time on this. Keep up the good work!
This is absolutely insane dude. Very well played. I can't imagine how the planning for this was
Hey this is really super stuff. Credit to you.
A lot of the strats are top moments. But comedy wise I enjoyed the strange purple ball being used on horsey, as well as treeko out living its usefulness
Really hope your channel explodes man. You clearly put a lot of work into these videos
Been enjoying trying to see how lower level of a team I can beat the E4 with on HG; been much more successful from what I've learned from your channel.
This was incredibly well done. Great run, great video!
Dude, really well played. I enjoyed the hell out of this video
Very cool run especially when you used the “mental herb” to nullify the intimidate
Absolutely amazing gameplay and strategizies
Loved every second of it
This Nuzlocke was very enjoyable to me. I liked that diffrent from other nuzlockers, you played unattached to the pokemon which lead to some real cool plays. My favourite like many others already said was the perishsong combo in the end.
You to Steven:"You may have outsmarted me, but i outsmarted your outsmarting!"
Im looking forward to more videos like this Great Job^^
I just saw the Pchal vid about your run and it's truly amaizng. I've been nuzlocking for 10 years and this run was impresive, wp!
Super fun video! Some really unique strats to get past super hard challenges. Would love to see more or like a half-level cap run like Pokemon Challenges did!
Great run! Just saw this got reviewed by Pokemon Challenges, as well! Congrats! I knew he'd find your stuff eventually!
That was some straight up anime protagonist ingenuity for that last Swablu play. Good stuff! I look forward to future nuzlocks!
Jan brought me here and I'm obviously not leaving
came from pokémon challenges' reaction. i think he's got a crush on you now. so impressive!
Great content, even if this doesnt get as many views as some of your other videos those who did watch loved seeing your sick tech
Really cool to see all the strats and forethought you put into the challenge dude
Great video! Loved the strats you used
That Stephen battle was awesome, great work!
Your videos and strategies are awesome. I really enjoy your content, thanks!
amazing run Freezai, a really worthy subscription
This was such a blast to watch, really intelligent plays that were explained really well
Love these videos, it’s crazy that strats like this are possible, even in mainline games. I’d love to see a video on Pokemon that get certain moves only by glitch (Shedinja, gen3 Porygon, etc)
That Shadow Tag, Perish song combo was Galaxy Brained.
Great job.
I came from Pokemon Challenges and you're really good!
Love all your content but this especially keep up the good work.
It's crazy how much game knowledge is applied here
Really glad to see you fought Steven. Too many Nuzlocke videos end at the Elite 4 even though there's still interesting battles afterwards.
Amazing video. Fave moment definitely the Shadow Tag or the Guts on Tailow. I would love to do a nuzlocke someday!
Coming from pchal, awesome video man, already subbed and commenting for the algorithm :)
You definitely saved the best for the end, I liked the splash strat on wailmer, came out of nowhere!
Holy fk, the strategies used throughout this were so cool. I’d really enjoy more runs like this in other games, especially black 2/white 2
These are smartly edited and have great play. Really fun challenge mode
Ok that you already are absolutly insane at this game gameplay wise like those strats are really smart imo
but that naming your pokemon numbers so you dont get attached is the next level play
amazing nuzlocke video! still amazing to watch
Hey I love the new nuzlocke videos, competitive players going to the nuzlocke route is always great content
Ok you're actually the GOAT for nuzlocking the Steven fight + perish song swag
Great run! Amazing video!
That was awesome. Some really cool strats.
love the content, wish you'd gone with a naming theme though. Those are fun and give a lot of personality to the run. This was an impressive playthrough
These videos are great. This is a fun kind of nuzlocke series
I’m loving the production value!!!!! YAS Freezai!!!
Ur content goated I’m literally here everyday and it’s so consumable I’m busy asf but still manage to watch
That was beautiful! You are a true master
This is such a cool run bro!
Glad you took out the real champion this time. Great video!
bro the perish song shadow tag strat was smooth. also tbh i'm surprised you didn't use clamperl. but yeah very cool run
These are such cool strats! What a unique way to beat such a classic game
I love this and the commentary
Omg so much preperation for every fight... No slip ups just pure perfect game play
Are you even human :o?
Nice run hope to see more vids like this
2:08 I like this approach. Nicknaming Pokemon just for attachment when they "die" seems silly, & I've always preferred using the species names. But being detached makes sense, too.
8:26 Nice!
9:39 I'm so happy Nincada lived.
13:00 Dang, nice use of Revenge!
13:19 Lucky!
15:32 Hunh. Using Magikarp for its Speed.
16:08 Nice.
17:33 That is unfortunate.
23:11 Dang, that planning!
23:23 Even despite Zigzagoon having a higher base speed, all the Shelgon are faster? Still, your reasoning is sound. I'm just a little confused.
25:00 Lol, great AI, Wallace.
25:31 Lol, the miss.
28:36 Nice!
Nice run & analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
Damn I saw the perish song play and I literally just said “damn that’s smart”. That was impressive.
this was probably the best planned nuzlocke i’ve ever seen
Awesome video dude. Taillow with guts and facade is broken
Good video. I learned a lot
I watched the entire video and it was very cool and poggers and the algorithm should recommend this to everybody ever
Really stand out from other nuzlocke videos!!
bro please play emerald kaizo lmfao i'd love to see how you do in it. These were some sick strats, super cool video
