52Kards hey, I tried to release the pressure from my thumb but the cards don't "jump" forward. what do I do wrong?
Diaza, it happened to me also. just move your thumb to the back of the deck, I mean release the pressure from your thumb and move it backwards. Hope it helps
did u bend the cards in the right way?
you must bend it outward
52Kards I have problems in shooting. The first card starts well but the others go here and there ... How can I do it?
52Kards I can't do it......any tips???
I'm starting to get a good technique for picking up cards from the floor.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
+ChunkOfNorris i got it going for a moment and got excited that i did it and now cards are all over floor, never succeeded again :/
+ChunkOfNorris its fun doing 52 card pick up
ChunkOfNorris thats wht its called a floorーish
Same here HAHAHAHAHAH CANT STOP LAUGHING
Pro tip: practice while sitting on your bed so it's easier to play the inevitable 52 cards pickup. Spoken from experience.
I’ve already thought of that, and I’m decent now tbh
that’s exactly what i’m doing lmao
What I'm doing currently 😂😂
Im in bed😥
That's what I did too lmao
my cards: LETS ALL DIVE IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS
Same here Bro😅
loool
fml -_-
Ya but why do they do that do they not like me 😔
Whenever I try this, I always end up playing 52 pick-up.
xD
Hahaha, me too!
I just almost every time fail and then just pick up like 20-40 cards
LOL
just having hernia surgery, this hurts to laugh at LOL
Thumbs up if you dropped all of your cards.
right before ive readed that...
*****
readed?
Dasch ok. :P
I didn't drop them, they just shot all over my keyboard :P
Joseph Zimerman
That was worse than me,
I just shot all of them in random areas.
:/
Two things that helped me are: 1.point your thumb where you want the cards to go and 2. Don’t bend the deck too much, a slight bend to create a little bit of pressure will work just fine and will also make it easier to control.
It really helped, whenever I do this trick the card always go sideways (too much bending)
Mans just saved my entire clean up time
Damnnn that provides soo much control
Thx man. Very cool.
Thanks bro!!!!
when I tried it the entire deck was launched at once
Same
Square up the cards as much as you can
LMAO
Mine burst like diarrhea
😂
This is the most frustrating thing I’ve ever done but I CANT stop
I feel u
Boom 100!
Yes you should see what I was trying to do earlier
you think this is hard but addicting? try the clipshift
Imagine your about to play a game of uno and the dude does this to the deck
Dont play, that’s a murder in cards..
I’m playing with uno cards
M
It's really hard to explain but after a bit of practice the "feel" just suddenly came to me. The right pressure and release. Once you master that you'll be springing cards like a champ! Don't get discouraged. Keep at it. It won't be long, I promise!
Thank you :)
What this guy said!
How long did it take you to do it?
How long did it take to get that feeling?
i got the exact same thing!!!!! i had this thing where my right thumb just suddenly slipped and i did the trick just right and that's when i know i got it
cards. cards everywhere.
Meme references. Meme references everywhere
Lmaaaao
MxJack I can’t tell if this is another reference . Failed I have into exile I must go
Not a card in hand.
Everyone: god the cards are flying everywhere
Me on the bed: I don't have such weakness
That moment when you've been closely following the tutorial and 30 minutes later realize you were bending cards in the wrong direction...
Rip
so the hand motion is like a man standing in front of a urinal. slowly walk backwards to maximum distance and then panic about loss of pressure
+BelviGER hahaah nailed it
Same here xD
BelviGER I’m laughing so hard now, I do that all the time. LOL XDXDXX
Lol true
BelviGER 💀💀💀
Does anyone else's thumb hurt now????
+Colby Bryan yes my hand hurts its red
Lol same
After you practise it for a long time, you should get used to it, I have that too.
My thumb burns
Yes!!
Cards Cards, everywhere
In my toilet, in my hair
heck, even in my underwear.
Billy butcher..
I enjoy picking up 52 cards from the floor i can't think of anything more fun so thanks :-)
Picking up 104 cards?
How about picking up 156
I know it sounds crazy, but what about 208?
@@Sean_B123 that's all you i gave up trying couldn't do 52 :(
i pcik up a bilion card!!!
Step one: Sell your soul to the devil to imbue the power of Zeus into your thumb.
I was sat in the back of class showing my friends and the whole deck flew in all directions, i had detention for a week
Did this at work for 8 hours basically straight. I work at a gas station so you can imagine the down time I have some days. My thumb hurt like fuck, it was so stiff and in pain same with my middle finger.. Now I can do the spring beautifully. Thanks for the tutorial! You and another CZcamsr helped me so much.
Tip: If you practise with less cards it is going to be easier to shoot , then when you can do that practise with all the cards!
De Mgroup I can barely do it with 1 card
This is really helpful thank you but I am having a problem with catching the cars in a pile in my hand do you know how to improve that
this is a fucking awesome tip
i will try it thanks 🙏
I’m impressed with your clarity and simplicity. I have started learning to shuffle from scratch 30 days ago. I finished an accelerated course in basic magics and I was FRUSTRATED with some flourished like this one, thinking I would not be able to even spring 10-15 cards in months to come. I watched other videos and until I saw yours I was not springing anything!!! With this video I saw cards flying properly sometimes. THANK YOU!
So far, from watching MANY tutorials on card springs, this is the one that's worked most consistently and successfully for me.
Everyone is answering others questions so nicely on this channel, in this community..... I love it
i dont have a problem with springing it, the problem is the catching part, even in short distances it seems to fall out of my hand even tho the deck is square as it can be
Make sure you stick your pinky up so that you have a barrier on all four sides of the deck. This way, if you aim it correctly the cards will land squarley
52Kards this still won't work for me do you have any suggestions I love flourishing and I've been doing magic for 3 years and cant get any flourishes right
Nick Dell its probably because u have a small hand, this happened for me too, so what I did, was I didn't use my index finger, and only focused on my pinky, while leaning my hand towards me
Yea i got that to
Small hands have nothing to do with it. Some of the best card manipulators in the world had small hands :)
Tip: when picking back up to stack, let them be in whatever random facing direction they end up, in order to equalize the bending formed over time.
Bruv my stream is perfect I just can’t catch 😂
Bruhhhh 😂😂😂😂
Same
I just made a big mess in my room.
I think everyone did
+Kala Liu sploosh.
And it wasnt the cards
well now you get to play 52 pickup :D
Too much shooting? 😉
This will come with practice. Try shooting the cards a very short distance at first. Once you can do that neatly then slowly increase the distance. I hope that helps!
-Asad
My cards still went flying😂
I found a technique with which you can make the cards land when they turn in the air so they all fall on their backs. I can hardly do the normal way but if you press harder on the bottom side (so the thumb side) the cards flip mid-air, I'm sure other people found this already but it's pretty neat if you can master it.
Honestly, this is best tutorial I've seen so far. It was really helpful to see your left hand moves as well, simulating my n00b attempts. Great video, great explanations of each step.
Thanks for sharing this. I've been performing magic for a long time. Now that I'm at that retirement age, I decided to try to learn some of this (classic) fun juggling stuff too. After only a few minutes of following along, My spring flourish is already looking pretty good. Teaching is a gift to be used wisely! Thanks again!
I remember watching this vid when it first came out and I feel so nostalgic, this was the exact video I needed at the time because I always had trouble springing from the top and bottom but never thought about doing it from the corners, thanks man
when his opposite hand is better than your normal hand...
This is the best tutorial for this I’ve seen, I started copying you then realised I’m left handed. I can already do a few flourishes but I really need to learn this one.
Very simple. Very calm description. This is the one to watch.
Bottom joint of thumb now hurts......
Yea u need like long fingers
Timmy Nguyen so tru
+Timmy Nguyen Really? I don't think I have big hands but I can do it without straining
If thats what it should look like the first time then im fucking up crucial
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've seen other tutorials for this flourish, but I could never get it right, but when I watched your tutorial, I was able to do a small one first time! If I could, I would like this a thousand times 👍👍👍 now to practise it....
Dude literally your videos are sooooo good, one day of practice after a day or two of studying I mastered the ruffle shuffle with the bridge and I am so happy
I'm starting to learn how you pick up cards from the floor
Something unmentioned: mental breakdowns come with this trick when you try for like the 5th time-
This video taught me this trick within after two watches and I didn't have any sound. Great content.
Thank you so much dude!!! I watched a tutorial before and started training but it didnt work out that well...
As I started to use your method I picked it up really quick!!!! Always wanted to do this as a kid so thank you!!! one new sub
haaaa i just tried this and cards went EVERYWHERE! i love it!
correction! i watched the video a second time, adjusted my thumb, blanked out and did it by accident! it was still shitty but i am on the way!
I can say he did a very good tutorial , And for any beginner out there this move is the move that when u learn it u will feel better about yourself . Awesome tutorial Asad !
It’s 2023 (this vid was like 10 yrs ago) but out of all the videos I’ve seen this helped me a lot, I just wanted to learn a cool “party” trick and this is the best video, I’ve tried the other grips but this one sticks out the most. Thanks!!
My thumb already hurts from this video lol
Mine hurts really bad when doing the riffle
It's Normal
You earned a sub
Keep up the good work 😀
Thanks!
Im already subbed so im giving a like great video though, keep it up! :D
you should be able to do it with Yugioh cards as well as these. I don't know what difference, if any, some of the holographic cards have though, so it might be slightly more difficult.
I don't play yugioh but I play magic, and i've found that magic cards work really well
You do magic not play magic.
Dude I swear your tutorials are amazing! I learn your tricks in a week compared to learning from other videos.
What a generous offering of tips and skills. Thank you! Cool stuff.
Absolutely. You can't go wrong with standard Bikes. They are cheap (relatively), easy to find, and great quality.
- Asad
Whenever I try this, the cards fly off in a very weird angle, towards my body and not perpendicular to my hand. What am I doing wrong?
Dayym 6 years and im the first reply
Maybe bending too much idk lol
Enclose your top fingers and thumbs better
thanks alot! you pointing out i should hold the deck at the tips of my fingers made all the difference!
Thank you so much, great and clear instructions. I know it will take me a lot of practice as you indicate here, but I'm excited to get it right!
I find the index finger being on the corner instead of middle allows you to bend the cards more easily
Same
It helps me catch them too
If you practice enough then the condition of the deck won't matter as much, but it is easier with a more flexible pack as long as the cards are still straight and the edges are in good condition.
-Asad
you just taught me how to do this and I freaking love it! I'm starting off slow but it's getting there. I wish I could have a deck of cards signed by you. since you just taught me this!!!!
Mate! Picked this up after about an hour! Thank you so much! Wanted to be able to do this ever since I was a kid
1) Avoiding cards being bent by flipping them over every once in a while
2) Start it with a quarter or a fifth of the deck so you have to pick up less cards if and when it falls :)
After reading the comment section, I feel like I'm the only one that is able to do this. Also, thanks to Hisoka I was inspired to learn this!
Using this as reference to help with an animation. Thank you so much!
Heyyy awesome, thank you.
I don't have it down super smooth, but I've made massive improvements in just a few hours; from giant clumps of cards flying everywhere to somewhat smooth transfer.
Thanks! Now I just need to practise! :)
*practice
@@shark_bait5366 Bruh you reply to my comment from 6 years ago xD
DaddyNico :D
Omg twisted fate is real O_O
U play lol ??
lovro pridigar fuck yeah
Thanks so much for this video! I was trying to learn this from Royal Road to Card Magic and your way is soo much easier.
Great. ! Just did it after watching twice. Perfect explanation. Thanks a lot
!!
I'm having trouble with accuracy.
Cards: let's play poker!
Me:alright but I want to do a trick
Cards: Ok!
Me: alright let's go
Me: okay I am gonna try it
Cards: alright
Me: nevermind
Cards: fly everywhere
Me: about that
Cards: I said poker you dumbass
(This took so long lol don't let it flop!)
Great instructions. Was able to shoot cards (in clumps) after first watch.
7 years later still helping thanks man !!
Its so much easier with plastic cards!
Dropped my cards 'cuz I couldn't catch them with my left. But was able to stream the cards out of my right hand on my first try
nope...your just a bender (This is a joke, please do not take offence to it)
Papa Lannister me 2😊
Learned this in 5 mins cause of how good you are at explaining, thx. Subbed 👌
Thank you so much this was the first actually helpful video that I was able to really understand as a beginner
I'm not strong enough lmaoo
Also, please explain the rolling thumb back, I dont understand it 😅
my left ear enjoyed
Fantastic video man, it helped me learn it in literally five minutes. So gratifying!
Thank you so much 52Kards for this video, it is great and I'm getting really good at this now 👍
" *I just wanted to become hisoka* " ...
how do u get the cards to leave ur hand i've hurt my hand after 30 minutes of this and my middle finger is bleeding... I'm not kidding please help!
+United Gaming
What card deck do you use? o.O
+annatsukiya The stabby kind.
annatsukiya wooden 😂
+MiGames TM lololol
My thumb isn't hurting only my middle finger
For my suprise I got it pretty smoothly after 1st try. Best tutorial thank you
Wow that slo-mo was so satisfying
my cards........ dont spring............just bend
You need a bicycle deck
Ben
thanks
You don`t.I can do it with a 50 cent plastic deck. And I have also done it with old UNO cards.Your thumb is needs to slowly become straight
my cards doesn't do any of those 2.
JustMe
I just tried this for the first time, and I just ended up playing 52 pickup instead.
Wow your such a great teacher! Thank you so much for this demonstration!
that was actually helpfull dude....learned in 1 day, mastered in 2 weeks!
you deserve big like man !
This is a tutorial on 52 card pickup
every time i unroll my thumb, i lose pressure in the bent cards. How do i avoid this?
Put a bit more pressure of this doesn't work then you"re unrolling you thumb too much
Yur stoopid
Thanks this is the first video that actually worked!
Thank you so much for doing it with you left hand. Im left handed and it’s hard to get everything people do with their right hand so thanks👏👏👏👏
Who else always bends the last card badly?
Me
It's the way of life man. Give to get more.
Jeff Smitt me
Meh 🤨
Meh
So do u think it would be easier or harder to practice with less cards
Easier (I think)
This helped me do tricks i started out shooting in clumps but ended up slowly geting better
Starting to get it after a couple of hours already! thanks 52Kards :D
I broke my wrist, so instead of practicing my magic, I'm watching a ton of tutorials so that I have a list of tricks to learn.
I tink i broke my thumb...
so ye broke yer writs whilst doing magic tricks? One does not simply do that sir
TheSwedishViking No, no, I slipped.
Oh well, hope it heals xD
I first tried before you started to explain and it didn’t go well.. but just after you explained the grip i got a pretty good second try wow thanks mate
This method is much easier than others I've seen, thanks.
I can't flex the cards it's way to hard
That has to do with the deck. Get a new one. Bicycle decks are 10 bucks.
mtg cards are not good for anything fancy lol
+nori lol, just casually try this with a ton of mythics and rares.
3xddfg's place dw I'll try it with my vintage deck :D:D
I m going try with me yu gi oh deck XD
