    So all these yrs later, I now have this totally awesome doghouse and could not be more grateful for it. Why? Bec I don't know when you created the other kind of heater for it but it's brilliant! And not the way you have it displayed here. You have a heater now that sits up high, using the back window-vent to hang from. This gives me great peace of mind! I did not want any cords to tempt any dog, no matter how well-trained. So now that you all have this fabulous heater, this then means NO cords inside the doghouse! I am super happy!! I now tell everyone about it!
    ~For example - yesterday, got home from work, it was 11F outside. Inside the doghouse = 76F! Whoa! Today, 31F and same 76 inside that doghouse! This makes my heart so happy for my one dog that has to be out back when I go to work. I worry no more about her in the cold temps!
    *THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH ASL!* This truly is - NOW - THE BEST DOGHOUSE!🥰👍

    Just a Thermostat controlled hound heater and ur dog will love it even well below freezing. It’s 19 degrees right now and I could sleep in it with a little more leg room and a pillow...haha! It’s hard to get our dog out of that house when it gets really cold. Please note... we own one of these houses and I wasn’t paid to make these comments.

      They have a heater now that attaches up high, in the back, no cords inside. If you don't want to get a heater, or can't - wheat straw is best. Fill the house with it. 😉

    I bought one. Three of us had awful time putting together. I can see daylight. Only had set up 18 hours. I removed whole door. I have been tossing all his toys in it so he may start using it. Will sneak treats in. Not to happy with the insulation not solid. My dog is a chewer. It is due to a problem which needs medications to control. He is only 5 months old but don't shame the owner. I bred and trained dogs 26 years and have titles, ribbons and trophies.
    Would I buy this dog house again? Well i figured it might become a safe haven for him and help him be calmer. I never intended to leave him out in the cold. Other companies make similar dog houses. I will look around before i buy another dog house. Used rewards to pay for it.

      Sorry you had hard time. I set it up with no probs all by myself! I adore this house, esp with a different heater they now offer that sits up high, in the back = no cords inside. IMO, the insulation is also awesome as it's clear to me, it holds the heat. Sorry it didn't work out for you, but man, I love it!

      They have a different heater available since this video. It sits up high, in the back = no cords in the doghouse. I now have this hse and am totally thrilled with it. It holds the heat very well indeed. Yesterday 11F, today 31F and both days, when I got home from work - doghouse interior temp = 76! Wheee! Happy me! and happy dog!

    They are claiming the walls are insulated with 4" of thick SOLID insulation One of the plugs had fallen out and the insulation is really tiny little balls . I opened one of the plugs on the walls and again tiny balls but nowhere near the top. I . When I open the box from shipping there were 1000's of tiny Styrofoam all over. This is false advertising by ASL Solutions and I have a call into them.

      @anthonyviviani9241 Whatever they use, it works. I have this doghouse, with the floor pad and a different heater they offer. This heater sits up high, in the back, no cords inside. It was 11F yesterday when I got home from work. Checked doghouse when I went to let her in, and the temp showed 76 in there! The gap bet where the swinging door is and the door jam is minimal. With the window-vents covered and all else I mentioned - heck yes, it holds the heat fabulously well! I'm thrilled with this doghouse myself.

      @@ballzmckgee3167 No dog ought be chomping cords "all the time" - can you not train the dog to not do so anymore?! That is certainly not anything I would brag about OR take for granted.
      ~This reminds me of a coworker, yrs ago. He would talk all the time how his dog doesn't need a leash, ever. I liked the guy just fine and I adore dogs. My reply to him was this = no matter how well trained a dog is, this is no guarantee that all will ALWAYS be okay if no leash ever. They are still dogs after all and no way would I do that w/my dogs, way too risky...
      ~~One day, he was not at work... then the next day too. I asked around and it turned out, his beloved dog had died. When he returned to work, he shared with me the horror story. Sure enough, walking downtown together, his dog bolted into the street, attempting to go greet a bunch of kids on the other side. He never made it, got hit rt in front of his owner. The guy shared w/me that through his shock and grief, he thought of that chat we had not long before. He said he would never, ever do that again in the future. What a horrible loss for them and an awful way to learn a valuable lesson.
      ~~~I hope you too realize the seriousness of what you shared, the potential for heartache is there too. I sure hope you can train your dog to stop doing such dangerous behavior. Best wishes.
