I just got the grey one that came with the wall mounted heater. There's not a hole in the bottom of the back wall where you run the wire through. It's currently reaching 100 degrees where I'm at so I haven't messed with the heater yet. I'm assuming that it will mount to the back window area and the cord runs through the window. That's what it looks like from the Chewy pictures. Oh, I have a German Short Hair Pointer which is 5 years old and a 5 month old Weimaraner. I got this huge thing so that they could both fit in it during the winter. They both literally went into it as soon as I got it put together. I didn't have to take the bottom part of the door off. I think because they was out with me when I was putting it together they weren't skittish of the finished product. It was really easy to put together too. Other than being bulky. I'm 6'1 so wasn't to much of an issue. The whole thing goes up in like 5 minutes. Then another few minutes to screw in the 12 screws that were included. They didn't include a screwdriver but I have a cordless drill that I used. Only thing is the dang price. I just don't know why this thing is so expensive... With a new puppy and really cold winters I had to spend it though. A Weimaraner pup will destroy your house if you leave them there alone. And ours will literally bark non stop all day in a kennel.

@@tomomasta3254 so far so good. I just installed the heater about a week ago. It's just now getting down to 35-45 at night. 60-70s during the day. The dogs are only out for an extended time when we are working during the day. So we haven't really used it much so far. It seems like it's a nice heater. Was really easy to install. There's a switch on the unit itself that you have to turn on to give it power. Then you have to use the remote to actually turn it on and set the temp. So I haven't really had the chance to run it long enough to see if there are any issues.

Do you think a Great Dane would fit in there with ease? Mine is 125lbs her shoulder height is 32 inches.

@@veronicac3270 I have a 130 lbs weimaraner. He fits easily. He's not as tall as a great Dane but I think one would fit just fine. The house is huge! Plus the heaters are still working well in both dog houses if anyone wants to know that.
