Got the same box for my 2022 Capstone. Works great. Also installed the Agame app…you will love it. FYI you can pair your phone with the BiNize box and pull up your apple car through the BiNize interface as well. I also activated the AT&T wifi for my truck and that allows 5 connections..great connection for the BiNize without having to use your phone for hotspot. Oh and on the cable management issue…I just swapped the internal cable of the usb slot with the one under my armrest. 👍🏽
I believe the Phone icon on the box is for the Google Voice application. Side Note: Google Voice is an excellent way to have a second number with lots of crazy control.

Well done. I learned a great deal from the video. One problem I’ve had is that it forgets that it was connected to my hotspot when I shut everything down and come back the next day.
I pay $20 for an additional line on T-Mobile and I got free data and I put it into the binize and it works, just turn off WiFi and make sure it is on data 5g. A damn data card with 5gig is $20 this is unlimited.

That’s weird that it made you do some other things to work. I have a 22 platinum and once I I plugged it in I turned on the truck and the tbox prompt showed up on the pop down notification and I just clicked connect and it was set up. Their customer service is excellent btw, I had an issue with mine not wanting to install apps after a couple of days. They walked me through how to fix that issue and it was fixed after that.
Yeah it’s crazy, I’ve seen a couple other videos where it was straight plug and play as well but didn’t work like that for me so figured I would make the video in case anyone else had the same problem!… That’s good to hear, mine has been working great once I got it connected but it’s nice to know they have good customer service if needed… Thanks for checking out the video!

I just noticed I don't get as many icons on the page if you do one other thing maybe you can help me with when I download Netflix and it behave to many how do I delete the downloads? i’m having this problem just bought the binize box for my 2024 tundra whenever i’m on the binize app i still get the apple carplay side menu options and whenever im trying to watch a movie i can’t go full screen, when you clicked on binize your carplay side menu options went away and it went fully to binize ? can you help or did you have this problem?
Wish in the future there is a way to connect both Binize and Phone at same time. For example, Binize can be in used, but when there is calls to the phone, the system switches to the phone.

I read about 30 five star reviews on Amazon, and every single review, the person had a Toyota Tundra. It feels like one person wrote all of those reviews under different names. This ‘22, hands down…obviously nothing wrong with the 5.7 but this new hybrid motor and 10 speed transmission is super smooth and pulls like the boat isn’t even there…if I remember correctly gearing is 3.31 to 1

The app for the throttle controler works fine on my phone but on my touchscreen it connects once then when I go to another app and back to the faaftech app its disconnected and I cannot re- connect. Hey Jeff!… From what I understand you have to have CarPlay in your vehicle for this to work, so unfortunately it wouldn’t work on a 2015… I hear they have great customer service, if you want to shoot them a message to verify I’m sure they would be happy to help, but unfortunately I don’t think it’s compatible
You can listen to YT through your speakers with CarPlay, you just have to play the videos on your phone and listen through truck…this box is only needed if you want to watch on the truck screen…hope that helps!

Yepper, the Binize needs a wifi connection to access online/CZcams/maps/etc...I actually just ended up getting the wifi in the truck for $20 a month, unlimited...hope that helps!
Yeah unfortunately it doesn't work in that location… The only USB port that transfers the data to the head unit is the one up on the dash… The one in the center console armrest is only for charging, hope that helps!

I swapped to the CarLinkIt module, and like that one better for sure…nothing wrong with Binize, but the new one doesn’t have some of the quirks like the Binize did…I have a video on the channel showing the new one if ya wanna check it out!
That’s the only thing I can’t figure out, it wouldn’t work with my Binize or this one…it would connect automatically to the truck wifi when I was using that but I can’t get it to auto connect to phone hot spot…if I come up with anything I’ll let ya know!

That’s strange, you shouldn’t have to do that at all once ya enter it…I’m honestly not sure what would cause that…maybe do a reset on the box or update the software, but it definitely shouldn’t be doing that
Yes sir, you would be using your “mobile hotspot”…or you can get the truck WiFi which is what I did…it’s $20 a month and you can connect multiple devices to truck instead of using phone data or hot spot…my kids will connect their phones to truck as well when we’re driving so they don’t use data…hope that helps!
That’s one thing I go back and forth on, I’m not in a huge rush to upgrade the audio…partly cause I keep adding other projects I wanna do first…lol…if I do, I’ll make sure to record it and upload it to the channel!
Can confirm it works. I have 23’ platinum. Had the same issues as you and almost returned it. Saw on another video where one guy said try a different usb cable instead the one they provide. I did this and worked right away.

OK what I was trying to say in order for you to use the box in your new Toyota Tundra listen closely. This is what you need to do. You need to shut the Bluetooth off on your iPhone plug the USB in to the dashboard for the android box and that’s it when you want to use Apple CarPlay unplug that USB cable that is it is that simple you don’t get to touch nothing in the settings. Trust me brother, I’m a technician and I also owned a brand new Toyota tundra, 1794 edition, 2023 that is all you Gotta do you cannot use but at the same time One has to go get a one apple CarPlay or do you want to use the android box, so if you wanna use the android box Shut your Bluetooth on your phone off before you start your car simple as that they have it enjoy🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍❤❤
This wasn't working for me. I have a 2023 Limited I turn off WiFi and Bluetooth and my phone connects to the Box but nothing show up on Screen... my phone actually connects to the Truck too

Yepper!...not all apps can be deleted but some can...press and hold the app and you'll see a little trash can at top of screen...drag app over it and let go...hope that helps!
Hey Steve!… So if you push and hold one of the apps, you should see the word “uninstall” at the top of your screen with a little image of a trashcan… Drag the app over the word uninstall, that’s how you can get rid of apps you don’t use… Hope that helps!

There’s a cord that allows you to connect directly to the USB-A port on the dash and run it behind the trim into the console. It effectively disables the dash-mounted port but would give that OCD a break from seeing the wire dangling!
I actually just saw somebody comment on Facebook saying that!… I will absolutely be getting it, that is the one and only thing I can’t stand… My OCD goes nuts every time I look at that cord! 🤣…thanks for heads up!
Hey brother, I feel your frustration. Let me tell you the issue why that happened. I’m gonna tell you I got a 2023 Toyota tundra 1790 for the shop OK the reason why is that you cannot use you cannot have you cannot plug the box into the USB and use Apple CarPlay at the same time One has to go eat or you want Apple CarPlay or do you want to watch the android box so that way I do with this I don’t use Apple CarPlay I use my Bluetooth shut off shut Bluetooth off plug the USB in and you’re good to go simple as that that’s all you Gotta do Arabella hope they help young man😂😂😂😂

If you connect your phone through toyota and not carplay you can stay connected to the binize. Once call is done it will reconnect .
Turn off carplay and turn on media and phone

This ‘22, hands down…obviously nothing wrong with the 5.7 but this new hybrid motor and 10 speed transmission is super smooth and pulls like the boat isn’t even there…if I remember correctly gearing is 3.31 to 1
Thanks for your videos. I have the faaftech throttle response controler and the carlinkit in my 23 tundra platinum. The app for the throttle controler works fine on my phone but on my touchscreen it connects once then when I go to another app and back to the faaftech app its disconnected and I cannot re- connect. Have you experienced this? If so how did you fix it? Thanks
Corsage using Bluetooth, I have an ezlynk. Want wireless to work and this is on 5g. You have to switch to wifi.not a big deal.

Hey Jeff!… From what I understand you have to have CarPlay in your vehicle for this to work, so unfortunately it wouldn’t work on a 2015… I hear they have great customer service, if you want to shoot them a message to verify I’m sure they would be happy to help, but unfortunately I don’t think it’s compatible
Just get an android head unit. They're cheap and you don't need this box with one
Can you listen to CZcams channels while driving with the apple car play or would I need the Binize box to just listen?
You can listen to YT through your speakers with CarPlay, you just have to play the videos on your phone and listen through truck…this box is only needed if you want to watch on the truck screen…hope that helps!

Yepper, the Binize needs a wifi connection to access online/CZcams/maps/etc...I actually just ended up getting the wifi in the truck for $20 a month, unlimited...hope that helps!

Yeah unfortunately it doesn't work in that location… The only USB port that transfers the data to the head unit is the one up on the dash… The one in the center console armrest is only for charging, hope that helps!

That’s the only thing I can’t figure out, it wouldn’t work with my Binize or this one…it would connect automatically to the truck wifi when I was using that but I can’t get it to auto connect to phone hot spot…if I come up with anything I’ll let ya know!

That’s strange, you shouldn’t have to do that at all once ya enter it…I’m honestly not sure what would cause that…maybe do a reset on the box or update the software, but it definitely shouldn’t be doing that
So you are using your phone data when this in on say Netflix etc.
Yes sir, you would be using your “mobile hotspot”…or you can get the truck WiFi which is what I did…it’s $20 a month and you can connect multiple devices to truck instead of using phone data or hot spot…my kids will connect their phones to truck as well when we’re driving so they don’t use data…hope that helps!

Can confirm it works. I have 23’ platinum. Had the same issues as you and almost returned it. Saw on another video where one guy said try a different usb cable instead the one they provide. I did this and worked right away.

OK what I was trying to say in order for you to use the box in your new Toyota Tundra listen closely. This is what you need to do. You need to shut the Bluetooth off on your iPhone plug the USB in to the dashboard for the android box and that’s it when you want to use Apple CarPlay unplug that USB cable that is it is that simple you don’t get to touch nothing in the settings. Trust me brother, I’m a technician and I also owned a brand new Toyota tundra, 1794 edition, 2023 that is all you Gotta do you cannot use but at the same time One has to go get a one apple CarPlay or do you want to use the android box, so if you wanna use the android box Shut your Bluetooth on your phone off before you start your car simple as that they have it enjoy🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍❤❤

This wasn't working for me. I have a 2023 Limited I turn off WiFi and Bluetooth and my phone connects to the Box but nothing show up on Screen... my phone actually connects to the Truck too

Can you delete apps that you wont be using?
Yepper!...not all apps can be deleted but some can...press and hold the app and you'll see a little trash can at top of screen...drag app over it and let go...hope that helps!
How can you delete apps on the screen. Just to unclutter ones I don't use. I downloaded Direct TV app twice, one work one does not.
Hey Steve!… So if you push and hold one of the apps, you should see the word “uninstall” at the top of your screen with a little image of a trashcan… Drag the app over the word uninstall, that’s how you can get rid of apps you don’t use… Hope that helps!

There’s a cord that allows you to connect directly to the USB-A port on the dash and run it behind the trim into the console. It effectively disables the dash-mounted port but would give that OCD a break from seeing the wire dangling!

Hey brother, I feel your frustration. Let me tell you the issue why that happened. I’m gonna tell you I got a 2023 Toyota tundra 1790 for the shop OK the reason why is that you cannot use you cannot have you cannot plug the box into the USB and use Apple CarPlay at the same time One has to go eat or you want Apple CarPlay or do you want to watch the android box so that way I do with this I don’t use Apple CarPlay I use my Bluetooth shut off shut Bluetooth off plug the USB in and you’re good to go simple as that that’s all you Gotta do Arabella hope they help young man😂😂😂😂
