Great refresher video for me regarding wiring especially for my 24' tundra I recently purchased. It has been roughly 16 years since I last meddled with vehicle amps and subs and speakers (32 now). Planning to do something modest like an 8" enclosed to give a little oompf when the bass hits. My ears are already shot from hunting and recreational shooting, hence wanting something small. Back when stock vehicles had plain head units and it made sense to replace them with aftermarket ones with RCA inputs were much easier to wire. Nowadays, vehicles come with very nice and technologically advanced head units so it adds that extra little labor of tapping into wires.
You sound a lot like me. You will be very happy if you get that 8 in sub I installed. It really makes a big difference. It’s been a good 30 years since I graduated high school. Makes me feel young again, plus my boys love it. Thanks for watching

My high level to RCA came with male plugs but yours had female plugs. Did I ordered the wrong thing?
I bought the wrong ones. Oh well, just buy a F2F adapter and wrap it with fabric tape and if it comes apart I’ll just buy the right parts for it. Thanks again though, this video has been a tremendous help installing this. Much appreciated!

sorry I'm not sure if I tuned it 100% correct. There are a lot of CZcamsrs trying to explain this.
Question: I just purchased the Beat Sonic w/ my sub and amp. I know the mini amp (Beat Sonic) has RCA outlets.. Why couldn't you go from there instead of tapping into the wires?
