Love this and always appreciate the content/production value! Especially love the added commentary from crew members. Only suggestion would be to bring back some more raw, fly-on-the-wall moments (especially with the drivers, and with clips that haven’t already been shared throughout the weekend). Fingers crossed for a good weekend in Monza!

I'm a Danny fan more than Lando (since I'm also from Perth lol) but I agree with this McLaren placing. Lando deserves his first win!
Mate be realistic it's better because it's going to hurt on the track, MCL36 is clearly not fast and has the slowest top speed means we are not good on straights and Monza is basically only straights that matter.
@@adarshmakwana9562 I never suggested that this would happen, was merely agreeing with JK on the hypothetical scenario of Lando winning and Daniel placing second. I'm actually a motorsports engineering student. I know the facts lol.
You can wish, but McLaren will not be in the top 2 this year. My prediction for 2023 is for Oscar Piastri to win the first race of the season.
Maybe next year. This year I’m hoping for a p6 p7. Maybe P5 if we get some drama at the front.

Love watching McLaren Unboxed! One of the highlights of my week (after watching the free practices, qualifying and the race 🏁)
Great content as always, loved the addition of crew members' comments but not a big fan of the inserted music, it makes it feels a little too edited and disjointed. If I can make a suggestion... please bring back the raw sounds which gave Unboxed the 'fly on the wall' vibe, I much prefer those videos, makes us feel like a part of the team.
I agree, really not a fan. It's just like all the other teams that tried and failed to copy the original unboxed. Some reason McLaren have followed the worse usual style
@@adamfry1125 Agreed, when Unboxed first started I thought it was such a unique view into the team's everyday, these videos of late have lost that intimate feel.
Also, after watching this again, even the team member narrating about the track seems not quite right, in the old videos, the team member would just casually explain what they were up to while they worked, like greasing a wheel nut or filling up dry ice, that was so much better than a crew member just standing there and telling us the information like a TV presenter.
I look forward to these Unboxed videos so much, I just don't want them to lose their magic.
Loved the video itself, just not the music. Please get rid of the music, the raw sound was, what made it special.
The different interviews are great though.

Love Daniel's Pyjama's Life is peachy. He has been living the dream for years and he has much more adventure to come. It takes true grit and courage to stand and smile despite your heart breaking. Power and respect to the Ricciardo's for raising their son, who has resilience. Race hard and happy, go you good thing. cheers.

I have enjoyed looking back at the Dutch grand prix and Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris papaya orange F1 cars in qualifying and race on track.
I don’t know how I feel about all the music, I prefer it more like the 2020 unboxed.

That was my suggestions too! Glad to see I'm not the only one who prefers the raw sounds.
It gives it a totally different vibe, and I find the more slick and produced the content the less compelling it is and more generic. If I wanted highly produced propaganda I’d watch Red Bull stuff, unboxed’s style and access was always superior to that imho. I understand why the style has become more flashy, it’s just not for me anymore I guess. I think I’m going to rewatch 2019 or 2020 and appreciate the silences lol

Ah noooo. I’m a videoproducer and I get the point. It’s good to show more perspective, but the old editing style is missing. That’s what makes McLaren different from the social content of other F1 teams. It translates the brand identity and accessibility from F1 to the fans. Less corporate, more family feelings. Definitely, mix those two things together in the next video!

@@l3mon.vr0 I love ricciardo, I really do but I think mclaren made the right decision, he was p17 with lando being p7 and honestly that is not a promising result. It's the right time for a new driver and we'll see how Oscar does in the car. I really hope that Daniel will be able to get a seat for next season tho because we need him in this sport
