- Following the misfortune of the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, which saw Lando retire and Daniel sent to the back of the grid after multiple collisions on the opening lap of the race, redemption was on the cards in the final race before this season's summer break.

@@postmansebas2247 - McLaren cost themselves P3 and P4 in the constructors by having a car that performs inconsistently from weekend to weekend. Daniel isn’t killing it as a driver but let’s be real, the car is a problem.
During post race driver interviews, Lando is pretty lacklustre in his enthusiasm about their chances. Time to take off the McLaren rose coloured glasses and look at reality.

@@postmansebas2247 - Norris is one of the best drivers on the grid and he is very blunt about the challenges with the car. In the driver interviews, it’s almost a joke when he talks about them because he’s so defeated by their pace.
Just because he can extract those points from the car, it doesn’t mean others can too. If you put anyone else in there other than a Max/Charles/Lewis/George you’re likely going to get the same result as Daniel.
@@postmansebas2247 lando had a terrible 2nd half of the season, why is it not his fault? He shouldve scored more points, drove terribly while ricciardo was consistant, maybe mclaren as whole just arent that good!

Agreed. My loyalties are with Daniel, not McLaren. It was a match made in heaven for me but it just never took off, but there's faults on both sides for that. Daniel performs at his best where he is valued, which is why his years at Red Bull and Renault panned out so differently. McLaren always put Lando first, and I'm sure that stirred up past memories for Danny from his later Red Bull years. The vitriol he's received from armchair experts these years didn't help.

I always enjoy the editing! No overpowering music, engine sound, the fans, cameos of other drivers, side angle which makes you feel like you are part of the team witnessing everything on the side, drops of rain on car window, moments of quietness etc….. I don’t know, only Mclaren and Red Bull can make the videos so well I’m never aware of how long it is.
I love it so much it's almost like a relaxing ASMR I literally watch these videos to sleep

What have they done wrong in how they treated him? They have tried to coach him on driving when he’s struggled, given him multiple different chassis to try to fix his struggles, and taken his input in designing this years car so that it better suits his driving style. Everything we “know” about what will happen in 2023 has come from rumors that have constantly been changing. And if it is true, the team has every right to replace Daniel because he has been doing pretty terribly.
The person that filmed the fans giving there thoughts and messages so the drivers did not know when to stop filming😂😂 but anyways great job team🧡🧡 let's come back stronger

The writing's been on the wall I suppose. I don't care for Lando much, I gravitated toward Sainz before and absolutely Danny now. Lando just seems like a manchild to me still, despite me being the same age. Now that they're going full persona non grata with Daniel it's no wonder he has poor performances.

Hello Dani& Lando (DaniLand), you just left my country 🇭🇺 and we miss you both! I went to visit you, to your hotel, but you were already sleeping. It took 3,5hs to meet Carlos, then i crossed the city, met Pierre, missed Esteban n Fernando with 0.5h. Then George arrived and i headed to my Red Bulls and Charles. I did not meet them neither, but i got the info abt your hotel. By the time i arrived, you were sleeping...i tried again on sunday, with some fans from around the world, but i was informed that you checked out..no chance this time,but maybe next time! Go-go papaya team 💛 have a nice holiday! 🏝🏖🌞. ( some weather updates:after you left, from Monday it is hot again...35degree and it will be more).

Next year is going to feel much more tumultuous at papaya. Daniel was a great fit with Lando because he could play the game so well at a team that is essentially Lando's. The new stud coming in will not be nearly as pliant. Curious to see what plays out.

McLaren should be utterly ashamed at their treatment of Daniel Ricciardo. It became obvious to many before Daniel had even stepped a shoey into the car that McLaren were going to back Lando. As I’ve asked on this channel many times and have never received an answer, why would you attract one of the best drivers in F1, build a car that doesn’t suit his driving style and give all the preferential treatment to his teammate and then berate him for his poor performance? Truly mind boggling!
McLaren has not made any official announcement yet. IMHO: A talented F1 driver will adapt to the car. RIC struggled big in the 1st year with Renault and struggles again for 2 seasons with McLaren. Furthermore, his driving style is out of fashion with the 2022 cars and regulations. RIC is very expensive and the loss in points costs McLaren a lot when it comes to the 2023 budget and limitations. Also blaming McLaren will not help the situation, this is not a charity. It’s about being competitive.
@@TedRay77 I'm blaming McLaren because it's their fault. I'm stating an observable and provable fact. They deceived Daniel into believing he'd be getting the full package, he did not. He did not struggle with Renault, he took them to the front of the mid field. F1 in general is being exposed right now because it's not sport. It's more like Meet The Kardashians than it is openly competitive motorsport.
