Oh I bet Rhea is PISSED that Dom was able to stay on TV while injured and she wasn't. They could have easily built the storyline between her and Liv without her defending the title. She would have been back for a SummerSlam match
I think the issue is that it'd be confusing to the average viewer for Rhea to have to drop her title but still appear, Dom obviously doesnt have this issue and theres probably more you could do with him as hes not a main eventer
I think a dramatic return suits Rhea in this case. If WWE play the storyline of Liv taking everything (including Dom) from Rhea while she's gone, Liv finally wins the title at a big event like Summerslam, and then BAM, Rhea's music hits? Amazing storyline.
Tommy John surgery is named after the first pro baseball player to get the surgery. It allowed him to continue his career. Unfortunately it is far too common of a surgery for young pitchers.
It's pretty much a guarantee if you're serious about pitching professionally

Yah, pretty much me these days. Meltzer has lost all of his credibility and it annoys me how many wrestling channels report everything he says like it’s gospel. Even though he is a proven liar who doesn’t do the most basic of journalistic tasks in checking sources and not just running with a rumor one of his buddies told him. Not to mention the intense biases he has.

Tommy John Surgery aka Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, it has his name because Tommy was the first MLB Player to go under this type of surgery on his elbow.
Tommy John surgery fixes the ulcer collateral ligament by replacing it with one from a cadaver. It is named that because MLB pitcher Tommy John was first to get it done. Recovery for a pitcher is closer to 18 months. American Football players have come back in the 9-12 month range after the surgery.

From what I understand, Veer Mahan had tommy john surgery twice when he played baseball for the Pirates which is why he eventually became a wrestler

Meltzer says Tommy John surgery would keep a pitcher out for 9 months? If a pitcher was ONLY out 9 months with that surgery, he’d be essentially bionic. Most pitchers miss a full year plus. They wouldn’t throw a single ball for at least 9 months, let alone return to the mound.
Tommy John is the first pitcher that ever had this surgery. It's taking a ligament from your wrist and putting it into your elbow. It saved bis career

A wrestler getting Tommy Johns is very freak accident. You get that from yeeting your arm at high velocity over and over not really a one time oops. It’s like an RSI of the elbow where it’s put under so much continuous stress it just goes to hell. Another Dom parallel with Eddie’s freak accident on his WWE debut dislocating his elbow on a frog splash he’s done a billion times.
I have zero desire to see Goldberg in AEW. I think it’s a decision that would piss off the core fanbase.

I understand he is a draw, but 1) he is dangerous, 2) he's still green after all of this time, and 3) he's old has served his time already.
