My favorite Powerful commander. Even a budget build is still so good, the card advantage from Yuriko herself is just tooooo good.

I just bought fierce guards ship and force of will for my yuriko deck I’ve modified insanely good included thassa demon combo I haven’t played it yet with my playgroup so that’s a surprise for them also they are borderless art gosh the art looks so amazing im so excited for them to show

I have been playing yuriko for almost 3 years now and she is fun every time. Unless you get mana flooded which happened only once. It sucks to flip the top 5 cards and they are all panda multiple times in one game

My vote go’s for Kamahl + X (Akroma/Ishai/Tymna/Bruse), JeskaIshai or Temur Pirates because they seem to be trendy atm.
I would love to see a Nymris primer. A very cool commander that works similar to Yuriko.
Nymris uses small creatures to gain card advantage through her ability and can possibly win just off of the commander’s triggers?
Seemed more like a hard control/interaction with little combat.
On turn 2 of my first game with this deck I dealt 14 damage all because of Yurikos ability
I just rebuilt yuriko and I’m trying to determine what to take out for my fast mana rocks
This gives me ideas maybe run a demonic consultation and some of the creatures. I runs more unlockable creatures than here then again my deck is a lot more casual. I was thinking of throwing in a Quietus Spike for the lols

My yuriko deck is right around 250$ budget and I don't even run the thassa demonic combo, simply because I can't find a demonic to save my life. But I still get mad hate and drop boardwiping wins with her. She is a ton of fun. And if you get a scroll rack/Draco going...it's a very fast GG.

What is the benefit of village rites? Is there more than the draws or is that all?
Also, very happy to see this video. I recently made the deck and this is going to help a lot.
We usually end up with a surplus of weenies on board, so it allows us to either sac a creature that was blocked for card draw, get Yriko back into the command zone if the board has decent blockers, or to sac Yuriko if she’s blocked & ninjitsu back in with one of our unblocked (or unblockable) creatures

love these vids...any chance you can do one on kenrith? i just built him and for now im using him in a goad style since he can give creatures trample and haste but overall i cant think of a good win strategy outside of thassa/tainted pact...any advice?
I'm using infinite mana outlets as dramatic/scepter, dockside/snap-rebuke for making my opponents draw their entire library. Also underworld breach helps the backup or brain freeze plan to do it faster.
Note that this deck could really use reliquary tower as it gets u many many cards or thought vessel

This is my "Ok guys, i haven't won a single game yet, i'll have to unleash it and see if you guys can keep up" edh deck.
I always struggle with yuriko, I always feel outnumbered as when you’re bouncing a creature and you’re opponents aren’t, you tend to have a smaller board.
You're probably trying to jam Ninjutsu too early. Establish a board first if your opponent is on a creature heavy deck.
@@wesjaguar I don’t believe that’s the case. I just think ninjutsu is a mechanic that puts you creature light, like voltron. I dunno, I just find it hard to win with. Still fun though.
@@deanofcool It really depends on how many creatures your deck has to get Yuriko out or to help trigger/solidify your board state. Also depends on your meta/table.
Yuriko at more battlecruiser tables can get absolutely bodied by bigger creatures or more commonly played board wipes.
Yuriko could make library of leng work. Just needs Draco on top twice to end everyone with a crypt.
How important is it to give evasion and is this Bird in the grave that gives everything flying any good?

The card youre refering to is wonder, and it's actually good but Filth is better, as fear is far more evasive than flying :D
Forget my reply, i hate library of leng! It's first static ability ruins everything! How would you else discard with Yuriko if not during cleanup? :( Im sad
@@EisCold17D You would have to put in card that loots like jace. That helps with delve and topdeck, but pushes the deck into a slightly different direction. No maximum hand size helps to cast force of will and negation.
Is Yuriko the strongest dimir deck? I’d think it’s between her and Circu

Throw blinkmoth away and add draco he has a cmc of 16 with scroll rack thats 32 dmg in one turn thats 96 dmg to opponents then cast notorious throng and everyone will cry you get a extra turn and 96 1/1 black flying ninjas if you run arcane adaptation. Everyones screwed
btw last gameplay video doesn't have Yuriko in it
But cursed totem stops yours ninjas as well what Else could be played instead?
Cursed totem only affects permanents on the battlefield. You can still activate ninjitsu from your hand.
Why Blinkmoth Infusion but no Draco?
While both are never cast, Blinkmoth can be pitched to FOW…Draco can’t.

I've noticed that Oko isn't quite as useful against Yuriko as it seems. I've elked the Yuriko at my LGS only to have him Ninjitsu Yuriko out and back in haha

Can someone explain how i can play Dockside Extortionist in this deck if it is a red card and Yuriko as commander is Blue/Black?

You don't play it in the deck because of the color identity restriction. The narrator said 'an OPPONENTS Dockside'
You cannot have cursed totem, because ninjutsu is an activated abilities
