Can you shoot vertical (Portrait mode) with the Arca swiss plate? It looks to me that you can only shoot horizontal (landscape mode) with this cage using Arca Swiss?
That’s correct, the Arca switch plate is only on the bottom of this camera cage and you would need an additional plate to be able to shoot vertical video. The cage contour is really nice with the camera body and having a vertical Arca switch plate and a horizontal Arca Swiss plate would make the cage much more clunky. Currently I believe small Rig does make a cage that has a swinging played the allows you to shoot both vertically and horizontally.
@@alphaartisan Many Thanks. They used to make a 3630 with vertical and horizontal Arca Swiss plate, but it has been discontinued. There is a new model 3984 with a foldable L bracket, but it does not come out until March.

A7 Iv. And a7siii same model suitable
