Have you tried the SmallRig Cage Kit with Cable Clamp? Looks like a hybrid and doesn't cover the top right buttons.

I've been using the 3667B recently with my ronin S and a special smallrig plate (amzn.to/48FRCgK) and it works great. had good luck with the 3639 as well. half cage will save yo weight if you've got a ronin SC or the like. I think really just think about the points I brought up in this video: do you want full access to the right grip of the camera or do you want added ridgidness and to mount things on the right side? the half cage is still my favorite but the full cage also sits a little bit better with no plate on the bottom. No. It covers up the middle thread you need to attach the grip. I recommend using the small rig mini v mount system with the half cage

hi bro i have seen you had cage 2999 for a74 and i was about to purchase 2999 for my a74 and why did you get rid of them and bought another full cage ??pls help .. any issues with 2999 for a74??

2999 worked great and had no complaints. This full cage has the angled cold shoe on left side and it also has an arca plate built in to the bottom so that’s why I swapped. Small rig has really stepped it up with some of the newer models
