We have a fleet of these at my workplace. 18t, 26t and tractor units they are lovely to drive super smooth.
do you have any big problems with them? are they reliable? thanks
Norbert, we use them in our fleet and they take alot of punishment, they spend a lot of time off road and pretty much at 44 tonnes all the time.
Drivers are happy with them.
Its hard to understand Renault. They make a brand new truck with genius extras, but they put a radio straight up from the 90s.
It’s the same with their Nissan cousins lol here in Mexico you can get a Leaf but it comes with a March radio that just ruins the rest of the interior
If it ain't broke...
@@MFKR696be the only piece that wasn’t broke!
Renault did a very good job with this truck, very impressed.
Thanks Stavros for this video. I am a Renault truck fan and really enjoyed this this T-high video.
Thank you very much.
Also him: Has Actros as profile icon...
2tomana7ue I put the Actros picture before I knew about the T-high. But I like both Renault premium and magnum trucks.
I come for the trucks and stay for the accent haha love you Irish!
Really nice. Renault Magnum mkI is still one of the most beautiful trucks ever.
I never see that truck in Malaysia yet . Great improvement in design by renault there. 👍🏻
and you want see it ever boy
Had a Renault Premium on Norberts for a while, loved it. Like this one also, not to Complicated for us Old Hands.
Stavros you genius......you’re on the ball! This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for , THANK YOU AND KEEP IT UP
Well done stavros another interesting and informative video, some very useful and helpful things for the driver the folding top bunk is a good idea. Keep up the great videos.
That is so nice! I wish they had that truck in America.I would definitely buy one
Ohh yes me too, american trucks are 30 years behind the technology and confort.
My daily driver is a T-high...absolutely love the thing👍
Nice one once there Stavros, half Renault and half Volvo a really nice combo I thought. Huge improvement from the old Premium.
Again Stavros thanks for the great videos you bring to us each week.
Euro 4 and euro 5 premium and eev has the volvo engine. Premium is a super decent truck and a nimble one. Shame that has small and medium-ish cab.
Thanks a lot
It was very helpful to me I handed over my T460 2015 model yesterday in UAE 🇦🇪
Looks fantastic, driven renault premium 385 back in 2006. Hope it will arrive in malaysia. Volvo engine shouldnt be a problem over here to obtain spare parts. Great video
A good welcome Mr Stavros
Renault have made new improvements to the new truck from the Premium range
A fabulous foldable bunk feature and flat floor.
this is really good for Renault
Thank you Sir, Cheers
Really...your smile is a great positive energy generator.
Not a Renault fan by any stretch, but that T High is rather nice
Damn,2400 Nm on a 473 hp?That is powerful. And the powerband is very interesting.
I only watch your truck videos, it was a big surprise when I saw you reviewing a supercar.
Just come by your site and I'm like WOW! Thank you so much, I've often wondered what it would be like to own or at least have some insight on the trucks you show and test drive for us Truckies. Again, a big thanks mate.
Probably one of the best`s trucks ever made
Loved the interior, looked exactly like the 2019 civic 😘
A very nice review of this Renault truck Stavros!
The bunk bed looks great but the storage for the phone next to the CD player needs to be bigger!
DoubleDeckerAnton omg it's double deacker anton
Great video Stavros, I'm liking that oddish looking Renault truck. Keep em coming.
I drive a normal T Series every day. It's my favourite lorry to drive but has waaaay too many budget-related issues. I actually wear my motorbike earplugs every time that I drive because the wind noise is insane
This is a gorgeous truck..I'd have one in a heartbeat!
I`m driving Ranault 2017 T460 Comfort each day, and I can say BEST TRUCK EVER. I`ve been driving before Merc, Daf , Scania , Iveco (worst). I`ve never driven Volvo - I hope to drive one . My personal ranking :
Renault > DAF > Scania > Mercedes > MAN > Iveco
Than you surely not driving the last model Scania.
correct:) not the newest model :(
oczo22
Try the new scania and daf, much better now, better than the Renault.. just my opinion.. :)
oczo22 DAF are you joking .
Pretty sturdy well organized truck , I would buy it!
Dunno why but it reminds me of a storm trooper...
your dead right there
@Payne Killer 7
exactly just like megane rs
Hi stavros great demo, couldn't help noticeing the tee shirt
I ran the same marathon 2008 dublin?
It would be awesome if you took out on a test drive the new MAN! But this one is awesome as well. Can't wait to see those new trucks on ETS2!
I read the title as Renault's *THIGH*
Great video again mate. I like this flat floor T range. And with 480 hp there is plenty power. If i am right is 520 hp the strongest version that is availble fot the T series.
Nice video Stavros and that Renault truck looks nice😎Would have loved to get my hands on one of them. Funny that you added some kind of bloopers/fails in the end of the video👌
I have no idea how I ended up here, but I enjoyed the video lol!
I wish we had some of these trucks over here in the states.
Renault is a great truck in this cab. Great video Stavros thanks
Love Renault T 👍 So cool looking both out and inside🙂
Amazing Video as Always Stavros. Keep up your good Work 😊
Yesss I was waiting for this video for so long!! Nice video Stavros :)
Looks like it'll be incredibly comfortable to tramp in. Great video as always 👌
Stavros thank you for great video can you do a truck video on a renault magnum or a ERF or a Volvo FH 12 or a SCANIA r480
Cool you sounded the horn which I had previously asked for love you and your videos Stavros969.
A world apart compare the Range T and old Premium and Magnium
Thats soooooooo true bro
Hopefully the build quality issues have been sorted. The French auto industry in general has been making a massive rebound in recent years and this is an excellent example of it.
@@hvymtal8566 You're right there. All it takes is to look at new Peugeots and Renault cars and their new DS brand. The quality is insane and in my opinion exceeds that of the Germans now. Their Trucks have carried the same quality
Wait until the trucks are driving themselves. Strip of led lights right at the front and bottom of the truck for more garage bills
This vid is not aimed at Drivers then because 99.9 %of drivers would not buy this. This is brought by big companies or used in marketing to tempt people into a poorly paid industry just out of Interest how much are you making to make these videos? Have you spent a week or more in one as many drivers would?
Awesome truck from France
I think some of the Euro truck manufacturers should bring some of the trucks to the states and I think this truck should be one.
You do reviews so well keep it up.
The only truck i like (T High) from renault has been reviewed brilliant review stavros
Magnum is a beast
this guy looks like a short haired Bruce Dickinson... i love ur videos dude. Cheers!
I'm not really a Renault fan but this one was well played
Yes more truck videos !!! I love it dude 💕
Btw what is ur editing software ? If u dont mind me asking it ☺
Fan Lover FCPX
thanks for answering!
@@stavros969 which camera recorded this video?
Top Video Mate! Thanks I enjoy your reviews...
Thanks for another great review Stavros! These are a world away from the old Premiums - I'd have one in a heartbeat.
Am I right in saying the cab is also a slightly modified version of the new Volvo FH cab? Thanks a bunch and have a good day
Gareth Ifan when you see the two trucks together the cabs look nothing alike I know because I have had both
Really? I always thought they looked alike from the side and rear..doors especially. But I could well be wrong. Thanks for the reply
Stavros,
Please do a video on American trucks.
You all will be shocked of how bad and primitive American trucks really are.
Also, most of the parking lots trucking companies have here in U.S. are very dusty and full of mud.
SHSSH Mate you are absolutely right, but I get used to with this American way of life 14 years here.I have got VNL 780 but I remember with nostalgia my trucker years in Europe but no one understand that.
If your country and it's trucks are so great GO BACK HOME your not wanted or needed here in the U.S.
@@Notthisguyeither In my country we are white people. Not by chance,so many people all over the world make full with american cowboys. Maybe you are native ""american" no doubt wow. Trucks in Europe are light years ahead. My first truck with disc breaks was MAN 1996 believe it or not.My first trailer 2002 with computer underneath ,which is connected by truck computer, and anti roll over system, and EBS system faster than ABS unknown in US
My dad had one , its beautifull . I love it
How far did you get driving home before you realised you left your phone in the top cupboard haha, great vid as all ways 10/4
Have to say their a fine looking truck,Once they get you home thats all that matters,Enjoyed the video
Not a Renault fan at all, but that doesn't look a bad truck except for a few things i picked up on. Firstly i agree with you about the mirrors, rear view didn't look great. Secondly i thought the gear selector looked fiddly and plasticy compared to the I shift lever on the Volvo seat. The stereo looked very basic and stupid putting it above your head. What a stupid place for the USB and Aux sockets too, useless for charging your phone one the move and if your using an Ipod/MP3 you need the Aux somewhere that gives you good access to the device in a cradle without miles of trailing cable. All in not a bad effort, i liked the folding top bunk for storage.
Bring those trucks to Texas very nice truck 👍👍👍
Thank you Stavors for another awesome video!!!
What is your favorite truck brand if you just have too choose one?
As a swede, my favorite truck brand is Scania
I love this, keep up the good videos stravos.
Nice Renault truck! Like the looks and interior:)
A Volvo FH with Renault badge 😎
Abang Zul All the manufactures get parts from each other so you don’t know what you buying .
@@Batman-wv5ng Renault is owned by Volvo trucks
That's a nice truck, well layed out apart from the radio
Never really gelled with my 480 Magnum. This looks way more appealing. Good review as always
Great vid..great looking lorry.
You are awesome. Greetings from India.
More I watch these trucks more makes me think that U.S. trucks are so primitive compare to European trucks.
Excellent truck.
But the sleeper man, the living in the cap... Its sooo small compared
The actually are.
@Aleksei Smirnov sure... My neighbor drivers an actros giga, solo. Television, microwave, coffeemachine, wlan... That thing is realy big inside. BUT compared to an us truck...
They are, but I wouldn’t want that many buttons myself. I have a dash full of gauges and love it. Also a bunk 3 times that size with out 5 steps to climb into.
US trucks are forward control, you wouldn't get one round our small towns bonnet to long. We haven't the space the Yanks have
Nice truck and video,thanks Stavros👏🏼
Top o vídeo !! Parabéns. Bela máquina !!
i say renault really improved with this modell
Renault = nice stability Truck 👍👍 & easy control 👍👍
Great video always had a soft spot for the old premium .Mine had wonky electrics but always got me home .Then I got an actros still trying to forget that heap of poo. Now on scanias g410 just got some low cabs on the fleet look like dust bin trucks not keen but you get used to ugly trucks after a bit .
@stavros969 The Renault t is really nice but unfortunately we don't have the t range in south africa we only got the c & k range but overall great truck. cheers from south africa
without the Renault badge , I would just think that truck was a Mercedes !! Nice video
Great detail in vid
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I'll go for a Volvo or preferably a Scania.
If I had to drive a cabover I'd go for an FTL Argosy over anything from Volvo or Scania.
i don;t think that you are over 14-15 years old or old enough to make such decision. let daddy decide what to buy.
If you had a fleet of 20+ trucks ( lowdeck High-T's 4x2 460 and 480 with lovely Wielton curtain trailers) you wouldn't say that, unless you are leasing the trucks which would be quite silly. These trucks are money makers if you care about a wealthy wallet.
Another great video Stavros :)
Past you earlier in truckfest you looked in a rush so never tried to stop you for a chat
Very nice truck and very nice video, Thanks Stavros! I do hope you'll get a chance to make a video with an MAN TGX E6.
As an American truck driver, I would never call that spacious. Tight, cramped, claustrophobic are the terms I'd be using.
It does look like it rides nice. It's nice to see the tag axle is the front one and not the rear. Some US companies have tried the rear tag, and those drivers tell me they're horrifying on slick roads as it takes weight off the steers.
22:16 holy crap is every truck seat has their own suspension?
that's sick1
Stavros,
Please show us more about European trucking companies.
About drivers life, drivers pay, miles they run, weigh stations, rules, truck inspections, shops and technicians(we have the most idiot technicians here in America),etc.
Finnish truck salesman who represents Volvo but allso new renault trucks, said "I'm a bit ashamed to say as a volvo salesman that reliability has been on renaults side for a couple of years now." Volvo has suffered severe reliability problems here with the new FH series. So thats that with the "budget volvo"
i would love to have this as a daily commute ...
Well clearly tbat truck is fully loaded with the top of the line trim package..Im not impressed with the exterior but the interior I was very impressed with...
Thank you Stavros. Can you do a video of a custom made truck or a Scania Longline?
Great Video mate!
Now only an Iveco is left to be reviewed... Cheers
Elston Dias I’ll work on getting one to review 👍
The ugliest truck of them all 😂😂😂
Hi Stavros, thank you for your truck videos. IMHO you shouldn't switch off engine immediately after blipin' accelerator - because of turbocharger. But I am not PRO I am just guy interested in a bigger cars and engines.
31:50 Holland lmao
Just noticed that Volvo FH and Renault T share the same taillight and AdBlue tank location.
I think the Renault also has the FH cab albeit in disguise - it's just a bargain basement Volvo with a Renault badge on it
And same chassis
Renault and Volvo are partnering
@@shaunhuggins Volvo trucks own part of Renault... I think they have more shares.
Robert Abele Sambili a majority share as it’s known
That's actually nice alot nicer than the premium anyways nearly at the league with the magnum
nice video stavros u missed a huge turnout at cars and coffee in limerick today
I like your demonstration for vehicles it's cool as you
Professional driver and a case of Bulmers , Clever
Your truck videos are the best
Grattis! 😉
nice video Stavros
The adaptive cruise control isn't surprising as trucks after 2014 have to have aeb I think. So this is just software ontop of that.
