- Golf Hands Low Through Impact ➜ Flush Your Golf Shots
In this video, I'll show you how to get your golf hands low through impact and hit the golf ball solid and more consistently. This pro move can be learned and implemented by golfers of all skill levels and is a great way to lower your golf scores. When you do this right, the clubhead strikes the golf ball in the centre creating more distance and accuracy.
Practice keeping your golf hands low and you'll shallow the club more and produce a more compressed and penetrating ball flight. Work on this at home first and progress your way up to the golf driving range. Enjoy the feeling of hitting more consistent and flushed golf shots and having more fun on the golf course.

You always offer the absolute best advice Troy! Can't wait to try this and totally crush it thanks to you! :)
Thanks Marina, always happy to help out. Cheers
I don't golf often but this is super helpful! Can't wait to implement this.
Thanks Ann, glad it helped. Cheers
Hi Troy, great video. I like the reference position where the club drop on the right knee. Many golf training video just said the low point but not explain clearly "where" should be lowest point. Thanks Alan
Thanks Alan, yes that's a key spot to get to. Cheers
Thanks for the post, Troy! Very informative as usual!
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
great stuff ...very knowledgeable coach
Thanks mate, means a lot
Key to shallowing club shaft is separation of lower body from upper body and right side crunch. This happens during the transition. Shallowing is a natural result no these acts and not a deliberate act of its own
Its not gravity. Lowering of hands happens automatically as part of the you right side crunch.
Good points Harold
Yes, that crunch is important.
Hey Troy , can you do a vid on the diff between a 10 finger grip and the baseball grip , i,ve been doing some research and the results are conflicting , ive been taking practice swings and it feels like a solid fast and controlled movement ... the following thread i have sent to a few others ...Cheers Kevin

This is very true , its actually an 8 finger grip as is the vardon grip , this grip i believe encourages lighter grip pressure when taking the thumb out of the equation & it also encourages good use of the lower body for power / control . The only thing im not sure about is when practicing
left arm only swings there is a tendency to keep club face square to square ( no forearm rotation) on the back swing bc if you dont you will lose a sense of control ..
Hi Kevin, I actually don't recommend either the baseball or 10 finger grip or similar as you don't get the same control over the golf club in my opinion. I prefer either the overlap or the interlocking grip which is used mostly by all the best players in the world. I did a video recently demonstrating these grips. Cheers
@@Hittingitsolid , ohh okay Troy ,ill dig that vid up n thx

My grandson, who has lots of power, tends to lose that angle between the club and the arms on the backswing. He lifts the club very high and gets lots of swing speed. For example, he can swing a 5 iron at 100 mph. However, his club face tends to be slightly open, he hits the ball very high, and it goes right a lot. Any advice I can give him?
Hi Mike, without seeing his swing it sounds like he needs to work on squaring the clubface earlier in the downswing so he’s not relying on his arms and hands so much to hit it straight. I’m working on a video on this topic very soon. Cheers
@@Hittingitsolid Yes, when I tell him to try and hook it, he can, but it is not his natural swing.
😁👍
Thanks Milorad, appreciate it.
This guy is really good - rarely do I comment - but Troy just cuts through all the crap
Thanks Kevin, really appreciate it. Cheers
