St.Kilda v Geelong Round 14 2009

The 10 year anniversary of perhaps the greatest home and away match of all time. Entering the Round 14 game neither team had tasted defeat in 2009. After 13 matches, St Kilda topped the AFL table with a percentage of 177.5. Below them were the unbeaten Cats on 149.7%, with a four-game buffer to the rest of the competition. A record 54,444 crammed into the Docklands stadium to see the greatest home and away match of all time.

I was there it was an epic contest, decent rivalry there for a while since the preseason cup win by Saints over Cats in 2004, both up and coming teams back then, from a Cats man
