I used dual output fuel pump on single carb. Got a 1/4 vacuum cap to plug second outlet. Cap not made for fuel. Would have to replace yearly

Yes it seems to work pretty good ! I just got a foreign object in the line with a hose clamp for now on the output I am not using.
