Mike and Gary you must be rocking in Heaven, wow, I love your music and your talent, what a combo that was, Outstanding. I hope the audience there understood what they saw life, a testament to flawless majestic rock music. Yes, they sound better than in the 70ties, I WISH so much they would have recorded this.
Mike Harrison, Mike Kellie, Gary Wright, and guitar 🎸 and bass, 3 original Spooky Tooth sound like they're still in 1970, time warp, twilight zone live in what? 2004? 2009? IMMORTALIZED DIGITALLY. THANKS FOR THE TRIPP.
The Lord of glory put these guys together and made them a reward to me. I'll never forget the anguish I felt to hear their perfection and their word of mouth popularity. They made radio Luxemburg worth buying a transister radio.
I saw Spooky Tooth at Georgetown University open for Mountain and Gary and Mick Jone(Foreigner) was his guitarist and I met Mick later at the airport and told him and he remembered. Then in 76 I had second row seats directly in front of Gary Wright.
I was drumming in a band called Gully Foyle where we were playing in a club in Munich right next door to where Spooky Tooth were. Spooky Tooth was the boys as far as I was concerned but my band played Yes type stuff which I couldn't get into. We supported The Gun and I tried to get away to see Spooky Tooth. Unfortunately Gully Foyle decided they still needed their drummer so I never did see them. Bugger as they have some of the best heavy type music since Free.
To release a good song is both death and birth. The sounds contained in she reach the end of their life. Yet she exists in a state of permanent potential energy, just as the memory of a deceased soul will always have the power to move us
womit geit dat bedder af as mit spuki tuth. when I was born 51, when I was young... poor boy roop boy, you mast know tomorow come hey joe..ten years after me to say Love & Peace is every day..1970 Fehmarn Festival in memory lever duad as slaav
Was heißt abgekupfert. Es ist halt eine Coververion. Auch Spooky Tooth haben gecovert, z.B. "I'm a Walrus" von den Beatles oder "the Weight" von the Band.
this is the best version better than the old version better than the judas priest version dont understand why judas priest got taken to court because this version is so much emotional if i was stupid enougth id top myself but i aint that stupid
This is a good version and the band is tight and Mike Harrison still sings well. But, I prefer the more upbeat version by Judas Priest ! Especially done live in Japan in 1979 Unleashed in the East, extended cuts.

Look at all those old people in the crowd. Now I'm old at 61 years old. This was my kind of good head music when I was young. They still sound great.

I loved this band. The young out there look, listen, and understand that we will not fade away, we will continue to rock.
AN OUTSTANDING INFLUENCE IN MY LIFE !!😮😊😂❤❤❤
Better than ANY of that Van Halen bullshit the bands from the 60's/70's were ALWAYS better
Haven't heard this song in years. Giving me goosebumps.
💞
what a cool singer...........they cant possibly have sounded better in da days.......
Amazing. Mike sounds exactly the same. Very good!
what a great voice
Followed these guys around London on late 60's Friday nights. Great Stuff!!!!
Mike Harrison's voice as good as ever. Saw him with the Hamburg Blues Band at Colne R&B Festival a few years ago.....Brilliant!
You GUYS STILL ROCK!!! I'VE LISTENED TO SINCE THE 70'S, YOU'RE LIKE A FINE WINE!! AWESOME!!
They really sound great here.
I saw Spooky Tooth open for Mountain in the early 70s at Georgetown University and Mick Jones of Foreigner was Gary's guitarist.
Long live rock and Spooky Tooth.
Let's hear it for Mike Kellie - no band is better than their drummer.
The Lord of glory put these guys together and made them a reward to me. I'll never forget the anguish I felt to hear their perfection and their word of mouth popularity. They made radio Luxemburg worth buying a transister radio.
These guys are great! Loved then back in the day and they haven't lost a beat. Harrisons voice is great. I think of them as "sinister rock!
Still great voice
Better by "The Spookies" at their AGE than the Rolling Stones!! Still got it!!
I love the Stones and saw them live in 99. Their show sucked !!!! I wish I just took in a headphone set and a few Stones CDs would have been better.
what a cool singer...........they cant possibly have sounded better in da days.......better now than ever
R.I.P. Mike Harrison
This song is so good I always cry when I hear it 😭
Your never too old to rock n roll if your too young to die.
The greatest white rock/blues singer of all time.
No,Stevie ray vaughan
Mike Harrison still has one of the best voices ever. 68 yrs old! Saw him with the Hamburg Blues Band at Colne Muni. One of my heros.
I saw Spooky Tooth at Georgetown University open for Mountain and Gary and Mick Jone(Foreigner) was his guitarist and I met Mick later at the airport and told him and he remembered. Then in 76 I had second row seats directly in front of Gary Wright.
We played this and Waiting for The Wind in a band I was in.
kickin out the jams , the Tooth ROCK !
Awesome Awesome singing!!

Incredibly talented!
Please come to Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada 🇨🇦 Awesome Band. What a groove. 😎☮️❤️👍🏼🥁🎶🎸🎻🍻
The Walrus is there best work! Nothing comes close the most unique cover. The Beatles all loved it too.
Great performance and even greater vocal!

Gloriosos anos 60 e 70 !!! Saudades!!!!
Unbelievable.

The original was done by spooky tooth in 1970.
super souvenir

Halaluia thalamus...
🤘🤘🤘
Greatest white rock/blues singer? While I love Mike's singing, I think Paul Rodgers holds this honour by a big margin.
DO IT!!!
This was really close the original performance sound.
"DO IT"! PLAY THIS SONG LOUDER! :D
Still a great fuckin band!!!!
MINOR SUPER GROUP
Still rockin :)
Yes still rocking after all these years !
I would love to see them play!
this is the best version better than the old version better than the judas priest version dont understand why judas priest got taken to court because this version is so much emotional if i was stupid enougth id top myself but i aint that stupid
@BlueLuap I'm playing this as a cover in my band :) I just love to play the song on the bass guitar
even better by you, better than me.. mm.m.m.m my generation
This is better than the studiorecording..........40 years later!!!!
But the syntheziser guy is doing his best to fuck the song up.........
IMHO Gary Wright is not fucking up, but trying to climax the song with simple solo notes, as few as possible, and he is succesful ...
@@Miwof
One of those guys who think that only guitar solo is a proper solo.
@Wrathchild1911 this song has a nice bass line...
Now imagine him singing sth like Tornado of Souls or Master of Puppets :D
This is a good version and the band is tight and Mike Harrison still sings well. But, I prefer the more upbeat version by Judas Priest ! Especially done live in Japan in 1979 Unleashed in the East, extended cuts.
sorry Spooky tooth of coursKarin***
Judas Priest did this.
I'm half a decade late, but Priest's version was a cover
nowhere as as good as this version ,everybody, everybody knows but thats not original
Judas priest cover
Who thinks Judas Priest's version is better?
Judas priest
