- Matt Berry is best known for his role in award winning comedy series The IT Crowd, from 2007 until the final episode in 2013. But Matt is also a talented musician, with his fourth album Kill the Wolf released last year to high acclaim.
KORG caught up with matt before show time at his London show to find out how KORG fits into his live rig.

MS-20 truly is the most devious synth in Reynholm Industries.
Legend says that Reynholm's electric pants were made of the old MS-20.
I remember our school band having a Korg and a Casio mini Keys keyboard back in '86..Sounded good then..

Does anyone else have the problem that when you have the MS20 mini plugged in it causes grounding hums in other equipment like microphones?? Pretty annoying, is there a way around this? I'm based I'm the UK so I use UK power supplies obviously.
Have you tried a device with a ground lift ?
Yes I've had two. One did one did not. Used a power conditioner from rotel and that fixed it. Coukd have been the power line. When using as usb conector also caused MAJOR hum. That coukd have been computer.
H4NDCRAFTED I haven't know, but it seems to cause hum even when its not connected to the mixer, as soon as I turn the plug on at the wall I can hear the hum in my microphones, rather annoying.
markaprill hmmm... are you using a UK plug too? I tried using my Microkorg XL plug but that doesn't seem to change a thing... would you recommend a power conditioner that is more in the format of an extension lead or are they not what I'm looking for? Thanks for the advice by the way.
davidevoid My guess would be that it's a ground fault on your computer. Might be hard to identify as most repair shops aren't audio experts. Could be a ground loop or low current ac leaking to the computer casing.

I just ordered the mini but, now that I see Korg had to bring in Roger DeSalvo to sell it, I fear it may be a grift.
