i like your content but as far as the gear you linked i think you need some better stuff because theres alot of lip smacking in your video. just some honest feedback. keep up the good work tho :D
@@Vole008 Appreciate the feedback! I suppose I could always change the sensitivity to remove that. Typically it's not an issue with my tutorials. As far as $100 headsets go with mic's built in I think it sounds pretty good. I have had a few headsets and this one is by far my favorite. Although and actual mic with a pop filter would be best, just don't have the money for that haha.

I had a question on how to add plugins to my RLcraft server. Tutorial is perfect got it runnning! Wanting to add luckperms into the server but I experience my run.bat and server not launcghing after adding spongforge into my mod folder. I believe I responded to you on discord however for anyone else reading this you just gotta type: op minecraftname, into the server console (the black window when you run the server) (replace minecraftname with your Minecraft name)

Hey, so around 3:10 the download for the forge 1.12.2 installer goes to my default browser, which is fire fox. When i tried to open the installer, it directs me to firefox and says to save file. Nothing happens. I saw that your forge installer was downloaded with Java, how can i make it like you have it in the video.

ive followed this video step by step and when i try launch the run.bat it pops up quickly but nothing happens i dont get the eula file after.
if i was looking to add a mod say lootR would i just input that lootr mod file into the mods folder for both server and client side?
Correct as long as it doesn’t conflict with any mods in the modpack and is also for the correct version of minecraft as most mods have a different download for many different versions of minecraft.

Playing with friends and having great struggles actually playing together. How would we enable ourselves to use cheats to TP to eachother or changing some settings to where we can see our coordinates without a compass?
to tp you just need to op urself in the console (the black window) just type: op name (example: op decacrafter) then in-game do /tp.
RLCraft doesn't suck otherwise the pack wouldn't be popular, i play it because it has mechanics that make the game harder and i like the phantasy element of it with the fact that rl human weaknesses were added meaning you gotta be careful at the start

When you make the run documment, first save the run, then save as run.bat ( the run.txt should have the same text in it as run.bat )

Hi. I bought a VPS server on hostinger and i want to upload Rlcraft there, but i don't have an idea how to do it. Can u help me with it? Do i need to create a server just like you in the video and upload it by FileZilla (for example) into my server? Or should i install forge on the hostinger website and upload mods all by themselves one by one? I would be grateful for ur answer!

@@vpox5317 the server properties file doesn't have any settings that would improve performance other than lowering the view distance if too much is being rendered at once. I haven't experienced needing to do that though.

Installing mods on curseforge only makes it so with that specific modded client you can’t. So no, this doesn’t do anything to your normal minecraft client

When I op myself, I get this text on the left side of the screen in the game. Shows, AUW, Altitude, baubles, dimensions, held items, etc and at the bottom it says "Results: 14". I don't know what it is and I don't know how to remove it. It only appears when I /op myself. None of my friends see it when I /op them. Do you know what it is or how to remove it?

Nevermind! Solved that issue, but the issue I'm now having is port forwarding. I found where it is for my router, in the WAN section, but for custom configuration it has:
Service Name (done)
Protocol (done)
External Port
Internal Port
Internal IP Address
Source IP
Port spots 25565, internal ip is your ipv4, source ip leave blank.

When i download The forge 1.12.2 it dostent open like yours it opens like a file that i only can look at in a browser or the notebook app
If you downloaded to Cloud storage it will not work. OneDrive is cloud storage so it’s not even actually on your pc. Message me on discord for more help :)

Haha it actually didn’t work out like that since avg view time is what matters. Most are not watching till the end and video ends before 10min then I dragged it out intentionally to see if making it 10min would matter, it didn’t 🤣 the end has a funny message though if you wanna skip and see. I try to keep my tutorials as short as possible with very little time spent mentioning server hosts or to subscribe since I hate the fact that most tutorial youtubers be wasting your time + they don’t respond to comments or help you if you run into issues. I offer free help and have been helping people daily since 2019 :)
is anyone else having an issue with java 8 file not popping up in the file explorer. I have installed and restarted my PC (I did this on my main PC before switching over to my server PC to do it. I have never installed java before though

Everything is done and set, but my server appears offline despite everything being done correctly, right port forward, right IPV-4 , etc, the server is up only for me, but when i check its status on mc status or anywhere else, even for my friends, its offline, any help would be appreciated
The server status checkers are always 100% accurate. It is possible that you have something such as a third party antivirus program like mcafee that is still blocking it. If so you can create rules in mcafee to allow the port through it. If you just have windows defender it’s unlikely that that’s blocking it however you can still allow the ports through your normal firewall as well to be sure.

Getting tons of errors where it says lots of mods require a certain version, but the mod is either not found on the client or the client has an outdated mod. What do I do? Is this a server issue or clientside issue?

So, I guess Java has made it impossible to install old/other versions because I have 1.8 and it refuses to install 8.0.

I managed to fix it by checking word for word what he did for example I accidentally put jar-server not .server

You have to make a new text document and name it eula then in the document just put eula=true
Redo the steps before the run file could be in the wrong place or you could've typed in the run file incorrectly etc.
Yo I have a quick question on the rlcraft server video so l'm using my laptop which has 8gb of ram but I'm only gonna have it run the server because im gonna play on my pc which is better but I have the laptop which I don't use so I would rather run it on there
You can run it on the laptop. I would close every program on the laptop and just run the server with 7G ram as the Xmx. Since you’re on the same network you will actually use the laptop’s name as the ip. To get the name right click the window icon in the bottom left and select “system”.

when I play the server it seems to work fine and some of the visual mods seem to be working. I can see mana bar in the bottom left, but when I try to right click flint into stone it won't turn it into flint shards which the mod usually does

Are you sure you have Java 8 installed
You REALLY should of put the port forwarding part at the beginning. Followed the entire tutorial, only to see that my router needs to support it, which it does not. Great tutorial. I'm just sad
there are alternatives. Most routers unless you're on public wifi or satellite support port forwarding it just may be a little differnet, such as needing to use the internet provider's specific app. However alternatively you can use Hamachi or Playit.gg, I recommend playit.gg if just a couple friends.

Unfortunately your boys need a pc, minecraft java and bedrock are different, although a vanilla server can cross-play with the right plugins, mods must be installed client-side to work which is impossible on console.

Should be done at that point, try using a command in the console or joining the server
the server loads for a minuite like the cmd shows up and does stuff but then if just closes and the server doesnt work, do you have any idea on how to fix it

I guess I need better fishing 2.2.4? I tried joining the server after I created it and then it popped up server mod rejections with the aforementioned.
Your client is running a slightly older version, in curseforge you can change version to the latest.

When I hit run on the batch file it starts running the server, but half way through it will just close. no error message no nothing. I thought that meant it was finished booting, but when I tried to join the server it said "Can't connect to server". any help is welcome
add pause to the run.bat file, it will show error message

You gotta take the files out of the zip first. You also need to have java installed and to make sure you are not putting it on OneDrive which is cloud storage.

I followed step by step, even tried everything twice. Me and my friend cant attack any mobs. When you made you run.bat I double click it like you do and it doesnt run the server. Instead, I run the jar server file which runs our server and hes able to join. We just cant attack any mobs. I typed everything EXACTLY the same. My folder is located in the same location. Everything is downloaded correctly.
Create a help thread in my discord and we can fix it. Tutorial works but sometimes our pcs are a little different. Don’t use the jar because that runs vanilla.
make sure you downloaded the 64 bit version of java. Mine was having problems allocating the ram because of that.
