i followed the instructions fully and the issue i'm having is its when i double click run its not even opening the server also tried to join the discord and the invite is invalid

Great video super helpful no issues as of 2024. I had to enable flying otherwise the server would kick people randomly but that's it!

ive followed this video step by step and when i try launch the run.bat it pops up quickly but nothing happens i dont get the eula file after.

This is a bit outdated, and might want to be adjusted. Now, apparently you have to go through some steps of downloading the Java 17 Dev Kit, and running a script from PowerShell that seems to install Forge for you. (Don't forget to Set-ExecutionPolicy to RemoteSigned with scope of LocalMachine, and all that stuff) I'm currently wanting for world gen, (it does take a minute) but gotten farther than any other previous attempt.

But all the players are at the random position at start. How to deal with it?

Everything is done and set, but my server appears offline despite everything being done correctly, right port forward, right IPV-4 , etc, the server is up only for me, but when i check its status on mc status or anywhere else, even for my friends, its offline, any help would be appreciated

The fix if your command prompt/black box closes right after opening is getting java jdk 21 for windows instead of 17. It seems that the file that we download was compressed or whatever with a higher version of java than 17. Save yourself some time troubleshooting and just download jdk 21.
