If you are using ATM8 1.0.13 after you set up the folders the final folder won't look the same. You're going to have to click on the start server batch file, which will do the same thing as clicking the run file in the video however; if you don't have Java 17 it won't do anything until you have it installed AND THEN the folder will look the same. Agree to the EULA as above & connect as instructed.

tysm, so many youtubers never fixed my problem cause they didnt tell me that I had an outdated java version, ty.
Every time I try to follow this and run the "run" file, the default one no modifications, it loads for a bit then says "press any key to continue" and just crashes. I cannot get this to finish loading ever. Any suggestions? Yes, I have accepted the EULA.

@@brimar0702 I figured out the issue. It has to do with IP address I had saved. Mine had changed apparently and so it needed to be updated.
Thank you for pointing out how to change the dedicated RAM. I have spent over an hour searching for videos and guides on how to fix this and this is the only thing I've found.

Could you do a quick follow-up to this explaining how to update the server to the newest version. Focus on how much of the process you describe here needs to be repeated and what folders and files need to be copied over to the new server, etc.?

I haven’t tried to use spongeforge with ATM8 but you can give it a shot, just make sure you download the latest spongeforge and follow my more recent pixelmon command setup vid, it will work the same essentially with this modpack.
how do i make it so players can set more than 1 home?
hi love the video , but I ran into a problem. Whenever I extract the zip folder it doesn't give me the exact files as the ones in your video. I'm also missing the forge installer how do I fix this?
You can get the forge installer from forges website, just make sure to get the one for the correct version of minecraft. DM me on discord for more help :)
does anybody know why the .jar file isnt included in my zip file?
whenever i click forge installer it asks me what app i should open it with. im confused cuz i got the java 8 downloaded and its not launching in java
Make sure you are not downloading anything to Onedrive, it’s cloud storage and won’t work.

when i open the run.bat file even after doing eula=true it still gives me an error.

when im running teh run.bat it alwasys freezes while loading

i dont have the forge installer in the download
make sure to DM me on discord, but also just try redownloading it and make sure you have java 8 offline 64-bit
zap hosting sever i rented crashed while loading new chunck i wish i saw this video before then :(
If there is not enough ram or there is a lot of people loading new chunks any host could crash, not necessarily the hosts fault unless zap is some sort of free host, in which case it's likely a bad service since free servers are bottom tier.
I've personally always used shockbyte and any crashing from loading chunks can be fixed by pre generating the chunks using a mod like Chunky.
@@DecaPlaysGames zap is not a free host. I have a server there for me and my friends but ATM8 needs around 15GB RAM on initial start when you join with friends it needs more.
At least thats when you have the Forge installation and install ATM8 yourself I dont know how it is if you do it over zap.
Sadly I could not yet find out why it needs that much RAM all other modpacks I tried needed way less and had also lots of mods.
@@dianshi9152 it does not need that much. If that is what zap is saying they are lying. There is only 1 way to set up a modpack so it's no different on their site, they do the same thing. The creators of ATM8 say it needs at least 8 GB RAM. Adding a few friends would Maybe use up to 10.
