- Exmark Staris 32 mowing small hills and slopes
In this video I show some footage of mowing small hills and slopes with the Exmark Staris 32 stand on mower. The exmark Staris e-series 32 is a small stand on mower new for 2019. The exmark Staris 32 is perfect for any lawn care business looking for a mower to get into small tight areas or through small gates. I start getting comfortable mowing small hills and slopes, and test the 32" Staris stand on mower hill stability.

Oh and I think the bagging attachment was a waste of money this whole time I've been using a push mower and bagging all of my clippings my Township takes it away for free but all that extra work isn't worth it I now blow all the back on the lawn it consists of Nitrogen and water making grass the perfect food for grass I am looking into a block off plate and just mulching all the grass instead of blowing it anywhere and getting your customers on a weekly schedule is important
I agree that the grass clippings are healthier for the lawn, but it just doesn’t look as good when the lawn is growing very quickly or there are some fallen leaves etc. Plus my lawns are all mostly small and the grass clippings would fly everywhere. Thanks for watching.
Can you do another video using the Milwaukee string trimmer? Thanks for the great videos
Sure. What is it you want to see?
I would like to see more battery life videos and comparison between the gas and battery model of string trimmer.
Oh ok. Let me see what I can come up with. 👍
I have the exact same setup 32 Exmark staris with the bagging attachment and know exactly what you're talkin about with these little heels that are like nothing but with the Stars and such skinny tires it leaves tire marks I got over that by getting off the machine and walking behind it just watch your shins you're going to bang the same spot over and over
I haven’t really tried walking behind it. I like my shins too much. 😂 The Staris wasn’t designed to be able to walk behind vs the old vantage design with the flip up platform. That made it more feasible. Thanks for watching.
@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess when it gets to sliding around and bogging down because of my weight i hop off and use it almost like a scooter i hated this machine the first couple of cuts till i found out about getting off try it maybe it can be a video
I will try it. Thanks!
Can your 36" Turf Tracer fit through most gates to enter the back yards? What's your most used mower for your lawns, the Staris or Turf Tracer walk behind?
No the turf tracer won’t fit through most of my gates. I have some gates that the Staris won’t even fit through. That’s why you see 21” mowers on every landscape trailer here. Currently it’s a toss up. I can get the Staris into more yards but I also live in a very hilly area and need the turf tracer to tackle some of the properties with steep hills that I could not do on any stand on mower.
Shoot, that's too bad a 36" doesn't fit through most gates. I was considering getting a larger walk behind. (BTW this is Victor with Jim's: your neighborhood)
Hey Victor. Forgot that was you. Well the 36” turf tracer is a fantastic machine. Probably the most versatile machine I’ve ever owned. Pair it with a sulky and tackle larger jobs with still the option to get off and walk if the conditions are sketchy. You have a commercial 30 already so a 36 would be a awesome addition I think.
How are your feet and legs doing?
Much better in the last two weeks. Still sore, but at least I’m not on crutches by the end of the day anymore. Thanks for asking.
What height are you mowing those lawns ?
I was mowing these at 3”. I will need to go to 2.5” on these soon as they have both started to slow down already. Both of these lawns are mow only. No fertilizer or applications and they don’t get watered. Thanks for watching.
