It’s weird to me that Zee is my favorite reviewer and yet the person I have the least overlap in gaming taste with. A low score from Zee (unless it’s a mechanically bad game) is normally a good indicator for me lol
Chapter 3 is the full rules for the game (for Family vs Protectors). Chapter 4 is the rules for Kammi Chapter 5 is the rules for Hester. After going through Chapter 1 and 2 once, you can forget them (or just start straight from chapter 3 if you feel brave). I do admit, the organisation is bit wonky, and you need to remember where to look.
One of the best 1v1 games I have ever played. Not for everyone, but super thematic and really fun if you are ok with putting some time into learning it. I highly recommend reading the comics as well.

Gothic horror not my thing but started listening to dramatized version on audible with a bunch of voice actors and have really enjoyed it so far. Makes me want to pick the game up which I'm normally mechanics first instead of theme but seems this has both.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Fair Folk expansion, when/if you have any. I haven't gotten to it yet, and i also haven't seen any coverage or reviews that mention it.
Absolutely on the dicetower/box. The box is suppose to protect the components. The box is now a component. Solution, buy another covering for the box/component to protect it. For an extra cost.. Gimmicky. Very gimmicky. Provide a separate dice/cube tower, make it look like a tree, and diminish the footprint on the table. Leave the box, a box. Yes, I’m boring. I’m good with that.
Well, owning it, I have had zero issues with it thus far. Then again I don't generally travel with my games. I do have the funky satchel that covers the entire box and protects it.
That was a very odd takeaway from a review that was overall quite positive. As an owner of both games, I am very happy to have them in my collection. Especially as a fan of Harrow County the comics.

I had no interest in this before, but now I want to give it a try. I love asymmetric games in general, and it sounds intriguing.

Tough to deliver a follow up that could match or beat Mind Mgmt. This one looked off from the start. Glad I avoided it.
