I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… the cube tower is awesome but I don’t want that entire box top up and out for the game. Also I have kids and I can see them knocking it down or just general clumsiness knocking it down randomly during a gameplay causing cubes to come out. I’d rather just have something smaller that does the same thing and stores in the box. Looks like a cool game though.
I get your point, but funny thing for me i usually have box next to us on the table. So i actually like that we will utilize that decoration space. Now i have a reason to do this silly thing that i never really had a reason to do so. And that piece of art is beautiful!
Nice general overview, the game look and feel awesome. But still struggling between buying Root base + Marauder or this one for a 2 player experience with my wife and some play with a group of 4-5 people. 😵💫
You keep saying "pilferating" (e.g. at 10:37), but I think you're wanting to say, "proliferating". Just an observation :) Game looks interesting. I never got into Root, since it wasn't the sort of game that I would be able to get to the table with the people I usually play with. This might be something I could play with my wife though. Looking forward to seeing more about this one!
West here, I think you are right, however Pilferating could be a term created to mean, "stealing and replacing an opponents meeples with your own". I'm not saying that is happening here but there is a good argument for this new word 😉 😀 😜.

They are very different games so I believe there is room for both. The tower mechanism is a huge difference maker.
