Just did an overnighter at this spot last weekend and going back this coming weekend! Found a private swimming hole with a waterfall and camped on the shore. So pristine!! Some garbage and decent foot traffic but seems to be the closest haven I’ve seen this close to Portland. Cheers- great channel! 👍🏻

I've definitely had mice get into the car somehow several times while camped in the Cascades. For a while, I would keep a live trap in the trunk and would check it in the morning and find worried mice. Easy traps though, don't cause any harm and can catch multiple mice, so then you just gently let them back out in the morning

Make sure to promote Leave No Trace Principals… if you are going to blow up these spots make sure that the area can handle the foot traffic and that everyone who goes treats it with respect. Exploring our gorgeous forest requires us all to take care of it- pack out ALL your trash and please don’t use the forest as your toilet. I’ve camped here multiple times and it’s always disappointing when you come across some nuckle heads throwing their beer cans and pooping in the woods.

Congrats on the least obnoxious swimming hole video on youtube. I may not like the music (because it reminds me of the ocean of terribad videos) but at least it's kept to a minimum, and ain't nobody licensing Zimmer or Queen for a youtube vid. Also, I believe you that the sun wasn't really shining, but you were literally glowing like some sort of bald angel the entire time. You shouldn't drink radium before swimming.
