Ducky seemed so happy when she saw the millers and was looking at it without looking anywhere else Soooo cuuuuuteeeeee! 😀
The parakeet is really smart. This is a very helpful video.
Thank you so much! She’s a cockatiel 🙂
@@ElleAndTheBirds
She's a cute cockatiel ^^
ramune meron thanks 😊
It looked like she was trying to do “wings” for the millet spray
Amazing video, i just started this with my cocktail today, and he start droping in my hand in first training, ..
So cute!!
That cockatiel is sooo CUTE
Good luck with your birds
G'bye
Thanks!
Thanks Elle! I never did say that after watching this video months ago. I took it a step further today. Usual fetch reps.. then I added a perch a foot away from table. Did a few flight from table to perch. Then I went back to the fetching. Few fetch reps, then I simply moved behind the perch and signaled my hand.. and yay!! Now my conure is flying it to my hand. Simple! Thanks again Elle!
Thanks for the info!
I tried and it really worked. So thank you
Nice training
3:54 I feel like ducky was doing Eagle Wings so he can get a treat 😂 HES TOO CUTE
Ducky is a she
Great job teaching a bird! I never thought about trying that. Birds are so smart! kind of reminds me of teaching my labs to retrieve.
Love it!!! Good job Ducky!💖🐥👏😊
307 Wyoming 4E thank you! That is so true! It’s just like training a dog. 💕
love your vids
Thanks!!!
Wow its so cute how he gives it back to you great video💕
Thank you so much! 💖
I love that u explain everything with more simpler words and keep repeating it with other words so maybe younger can understand 😃
Aww, I love Ducky so so much.
I love your account SO SO MUCH!!!!! Thank you
Such a quality content, great video dear😍
Another good video. I do think you should explain the concept of using a bridge especially in the initial steps of learning. Once the bird knows what you want, as ducky does here, it's no longer really needed but I continue to tell my bird 'good!' whenever he does what I ask, even if he doesn't get a treat every time.
This beginning....❤😍😍😍😍😍 Ducky looks so adorable😍😍😍😘😘😘
Nice teaching 😊
I will definitely TRY THIS!
Omg this is awesome
Thx for the video😊
Mingi luvsbudgies np and thanks! ☺️
Helpful thanks
Hey, I train my birds too. In the meantime they come without giving something they like.....😉
Yes!! Thank you for this! I am really wanting to teach Louie a trick, but each time I try he gets really mad at me because I won’t give him the treat right away 😂 Maybe this will help, it’s a bit different than other vids I watched, but it just depends on Mr. Angry’s mood 🤣😆
Lol 😂🤣 try to say “good” or something like that right when Louie completes the action, that way he will learn that every time you say it he’ll get a treat. Something not specific to teaching a bird to fetch but helpful for training in general. I hope he takes to this trick 🤞
Live Laugh Birds Thank you for the advice! I was thinking of doing that, or using a clicker, so maybe that will work!
I love the new videos!
Heath and Meatball thanks!
Love your birds😘😘😘
Wowwwww great video.
I'm teaching my cockatiel Connie how to fetch and she knows how to do it now! Well Connie doesn't like millet but she loves food especially fruit so I give her blackberries and she can fetch now! Thanks again Elle your a good trainer! And tamer

How brilliant! I just got a cockatiel but it’s not trained yet. Any tips for taming a cockatiel?
I have question! I am getting my first bird in a few weeks. I am getting a pink bourkie (pink parakeet) and wondering for the bird cages what should be the best bar spacing for the birds cage! Can someone please help me!!!!
That helped my daughters budgie birds and my son"s budgie
Hi there! Love your videos. They are so informative! Question: when I train my bird do I have to give her a treat everything or eventually she'll learn without?
I love the rolling bird at the start ha ha this is awesome my Bruce will be pleased and I just Iove birds the Rosie cheeks are awesome, thank you and I send kind blessing's to you and your family always 🙂💡🙏🌎🌕🌙✨💧❤️
Thank you so much! 😊
I was just watching the video and my scared Cockatiels screamed at your Background. Voices
What is the treat you are using
Thanks! I will try that with Mango! Hopefully it works and if it does it will be because of you!
Mango the Budgie thanks! I hope she learns it! 💖
I love your video a lot!! The thing with my cockatiel is that they are scared of new objects. Please say me what can I do for it.
Pls give the link of wicker ball in amazon india
is a light plastic ball with a bell insite also good?? And is this still posible if the bird is one year.
My bird is in love with mango's when I say that she's had enough mangos he starts making noises😂😅
Does it work better with one or two
When I started to train by bird this trick it started chewing the ball.
What should I do?
I want to try this with Pecky. Thank you for that ☺️
#Pecky np! If Pecky learned to fetch that would be adorable!!! 😍
Where do you get that treat
Pls give the link of the ball
I have a question. So I have a budgie, I’ve had her for 7-8 weeks now or so, and I’m letting her out everyday. But she’s not a fan of it, she ONLY wants to sit on me, or a perch that I hold. I need to be very close to her and always have my hand close to her if she’s on a table or my bed or any object in my room. If I’m not close enough she will fly over to me under my hair and sit there.
,or sit in my shirt. Do you have any techniques to help my budgie fly around more? I don’t clip her wings or anything, but I guess some budgies just aren’t a fan of it? Please help me find out why she doesn’t like it..
She’s probably either a more chill budgie, or a still a bit nervous. Once she gets more accustomed to her surroundings, she’ll probably fly around more. If this doesn’t happen, look at what your feeding her. If you’re over feeding her, under feeding her, or feeding her fatty foods (like seeds), she might not want to exercise much. If none of these are the case, then look at her poop. If it looks weird compared to other budgie’s poop, take her to the vet. If none of these are the case, she’s probably just a calmer bird
I love this but my bird isnt intrestin in the bal⚾What can I do abaut it
is it normal for some breeds of birds to have black or stipped beaks?? I found cockatiels on craigslist but they all but only 2 have black beaks.
