    hey, i am planning on going to university after the summer to study architecture and i’ve got offers from a few amazing unis. i was just wondering if these are listed from best to worst or are they in a random order. i am currently deciding whether to firm bath or nottingham and i’m really struggling with my decision :)

      That's fantastic! They are in a random order, but are all great places to study. I know people that went to both Bath and Nottingham, they are both very successful.

      Hi. First of all, congratulations! I know these school are very challenging to get in so the fact that you got into both is amazing.
      I would love to go to Bath but I'm not sure where to start in my preparation and how to create a strong portfolio. Would you mind answering a few of my questions? I know it's been two years, so I'm pretty sure you won't reply, but I wanted to ask just in case. Thank you! (Btw, if there's someone that got into an architecture school and wouldn't mind sharing some tips, I would be very grateful.)

    hello just completed my bachelor in architecture. what would you say about the masters courses that do not have RIBA accreditation? for e.g, im looking into urban design M.Arch courses. But i couldnt find any that are RIBA accreditation. Most of the courses that are under RIBA are general architecture 2 year long ones. How would choosing a course with or without RIBA accreditation factor into my job search or career overall after my masters?

    • @annotatearchitecture
      @annotatearchitecture  Před 3 lety

      I think most if not all RIBA accredited masters are two years long. It's hard to tell, but for the best chances I would go for an accredited course. That is not to say that doing the opposite will hinder your success. Good luck!

      Best case scenario is maths, science, and art/design but most just want maths OR a science and a portfolio of sketches and creative work.

    Hi! Im planning to study architecture at the uni of greenwich. Would I have to do an intern year in-between my Bachelors and Masters degree. And is that year in the uni program, or would I have to find it on my own. Would be great if you would help!

    • @annotatearchitecture
      @annotatearchitecture  Před 4 lety

      An intern year or year out or year in industry is commonly done after your first Bachelors degree. There are universities that take students without experience in practice, but most prefer students to take a year out. I suggest contacting the universities directly to see what they would prefer. I hope this helps!
