Jamie is my celeb crush
Favorite interviewer he’s soo classy with the actors
I like him too. The title of this video was/is very misleading lol
Plus the interviewer dd his homework well too!!
Yes interviewer was dope and on point😃
He is brilliant.
with directors as well!
Jamie loves telling the same stories over and over again...and I love listening to him tell those same stories. 🙂
Me too. His stories are always entertaining even if you've heard it before
I never tire of his same jokes and impersonations
He tells the same stories because he’s asked the same questions and he always tells the truth which is why the answers are the same.
Yeah... like "...that's another guy, stand on the wall, in green jacket like in green jumpsuit, and nobody talk to him... Guess who he was...???"
Who???
Jay Z.
@@dapurofficer7934 i'd love to see Jamie and TK Kirkland get into a convo with each other lol... TK always got hella stories too. I could see them doing a skit of them trying to one-up each other with the best story
Jamie Fox is one of the most underrated comics in the business. His skill for imitating other people is always so on point. His talent seems boundless.
So fast! Very sharp and quick mind.
How is he underated, he won a freaking Oscar.
@@timmyotoole7312 I think he meant he’s not spoken of enough! Because let’s be fair, he’s not the actor most people will think of Jamie Foxx when asked who their most favorite actor is…because most people only think of the answer when they’re asked, they first have to think of the answer and you don’t always hear people run to Jamie Foxx’s name!
@@dannytat1823 Yeah, what he said! lol.
@@dannytat1823 I think that's why he said comedian. He is definitely not underrated as an actor/entertainer but I feel like he doesn't get his comedic credit enough as well
Probably the most talented individual in show business. He is just incredible.
Jamie Foxx's is more Al Pacino than Al Pacino himself
Yep. Then you turn to the right and Jamie is there too!
Don't think it's even close. He is arguably the best at 4-5 different things in the industry. I am shocked he hasn't done a Netflix standup
Yeah and Jamie is cool too
Yeah, the guy can act, sing, play piano, do standup, & is a master impressionist, we won’t see anybody like Jaime for a long time to come if ever
His impersonations are unreal
No, his impersonations are very real
Alf Jones - Evan Moore Bacon lll you must be a bot if you don’t understand what i said.
@@LiterallyGod Alf gets it, his understanding of the language is slightly different, that is all, :)
@@LiterallyGod "God" it seems you do not know it all, "for what I quoth was verily in sarcastic humor"
@@radharamanivasam7269 seems you have more omniscient power than "God" for you to take the liberty of divining my meaning... He is a "puny god" eh?
Don’t usually like watching interviews like this, but this dude and his editor are killing it, insightful questions, knowledge of the topic, relevant footage, doesn’t interrupt the guest, makes you realize how low effort most of these types of interviews are compared to this, just wanted to say keep up the good work guys.
You are right, he has a great editor that really knows how to highlight the best parts of the an interview.
AAAAMEN! 100% accurate.
He’s a wonderful actor, but his singing voice is amazing as well as his piano skills. He would be a star in whatever medium he chose.
Don't forget writer and dancer. He has moves AND jokes.
I hear he was one hell of an athlete as well.
@@jaidamann8365 yeah, his football skills helped him get him the part in, Any Given Sunday.
@@adedjd5349 which was a KICKаSS movie. Much props.
He's the 21st century version of Sammy Davis Jr.
Jamie Foxx's portrayal of Ray Charles is the greatest acting job that I've ever seen. I thought that I was actually watching Ray Charles. The fact that Foxx can really play the piano made a great difference in the film.
I felt the same. He became Ray!
I couldn't agree with that statement more well put
It really was. Some say that biopic roles are more mimicry than acting, but Jamie went far beyond impersonation to inhabiting Ray Charles' changes in persona throughout his life.
Very true in regards to Foxx everyone brought their A Game to this project. It was a reunion of Dead Presidents Movie
He actually sang most of the songs too
"You have to be the slave, before you're the hero." That's what makes Django an outstanding movie character, silent D.
...I disagree with that
Great film :)
One of my favorite movies. The ending is POETIC. "In the sweet Bye and Bye"
Django that is
Hey bright boa!!
I absolutely dig how when Dreamgirls was brought up, a focus was put on Beyonce but Jamie gave her props but then refocused on the star of that film, Jennifer Hudson. Cause she showed up and showed OUT! Very nice.
The interviewer let the Interview flow/ie a dialogue, he did not interrupt multi-talented Foxx, :)
I always get crap when I say this, if Jen and fantasia looked like bey, they would be Aretha and Tina status. No shot against Beyonce, but she don't have that church voice. She do got the complexion for selection tho.
@@bbthompson05 Hence the reason why her casting was honestly perfect for this role. It spoke to how the industry doesn't value talent more than they value sex appeal.
🎯
@Richard SteeleJr Both are Rolls, just different years 😉
"He turns regular actors and turn them into stars and he takes stars and turns them into legends". An epic compliment to give to a director. It takes a great interviewer to get a response like that. Great interview. Love Jamie Foxx.
Wondered how long it would take somebody to acknowledge the props he gave to Tarantino
His Quincy Jones impression legitimately filled me with terror with it's frightening level of accuracy. Impressions are all about mimicking the nuances of your subject, he did it in a manner that can only be described as masterful.
Yes
Facts…..I honestly had to do a kind of dbl take because it was so on point.
Having had a face to face conversation with Quincy Jones, I second this. Masterful.
Yes indeed. He's spot on.
@@georgeholt325 Quincy being my uncle, I third this
“He turns regular actors into stars, and stars into legends.”
That will be on quinton's headstone...and rightfully so...
This interview is great, it feels like old pals catching up over a drink! Jamie Foxx is the most chill guy ever
He arrived blasting Stormzy out of his backpack. He was so much fun.
Matthew Mcconaughey: "Hold my beer."
Very relaxed interview. No ego from the interviewed; the interviewer isn't intimidated.
The soloist w Robert Downy Jr is an underratted gem. Great performances by both him and Foxx
He really proved how incredibly talented he truly is!!!
Yes!!!
Jamie Foxx is so underrated. His talent is tremendous and he's so good looking. Love Jamie. I love all his impressions especially Sidney Poitier🤩🤩🤩🤩 God bless you Jamie
why underrated?
Talent coming out his pores! He sweats talent
got to love Jamie Fox. so good 👍
This is how you interview an artist. Just jam and have a conversation rather than a self serious question set
Credit to the interviewer abd nit taking anything away from him, but Jamie is an easy interviewee
Man I could literally listen to Jamie Fox speak for an entire year.
Great actor. Off screen he’s this funny, upbeat personality, the kind of guy you’d want to befriend in high school, but you wouldn’t think about having acting skills. Yet, put him in front of a camera and he nails it. Complete understanding of character psychology.
"You should be drinking like gasoline or something"
Lost it 😂😂😂
Ok jamie was in perfect pitch same key mimicking Jennifer Hudson. Foxx is the JOINT
Indeed he was! Too much talent for one person. Not fair
Melvin...I was just sitting here thinking...'am I the only freak out there that notice he imitated her in the same key????? Weirdo, meet a fellow weirdo!!lol
Yo, Melvin Rush, II...I caught that also. So, I know you either play or sing. Right?
I noticed the same thing. It was perfect. Even the pauses.
One of your most entertaining interviews. Jamie is a great actor, a funny guy and an awesome impersonator.
And singer.. let's not forget that.✌🏾
@@TheDrMacMan kinda cute tooo 🥰
Unbelievable performer. Probably one of the most versatile actors ever! And phenomenal impressions to boot!!!
Any one who wants to be an interviewer needs to watch this. This is how u do it.
Could've watched 3 hours of this. Jamie Foxx deserves a one man show.
His accents are fricken perfect! 😂
Was Macgonnagall not a famous dundonian poet?
He’s one of the greatest actors of our time.
True. Extremely talented
Give this man his own late nite talk show. Jamie is a national treasure
You know what, yeah. I could see this.
His voice impersonations are dope . Talent and comedian in him
Best line in Django "..you're really free - you mean you wanna dress like that!!!"
Jamie Foxx' body of work is so great. I can't wait to see what he does next
Jamie Foxx is an insanely talented person. Also, he emits a huge amount of light energy. It's good we have Jamie Foxx in Hollywood.
Excellent interviewing and editing. My favorite part about these interviews is the mix of movie scenes and visual references that are synced with the conversation - it’s genius. And talking to Jaime about his previous movies then working up to the newest one was really insightful. Best type of interviews ever, right here on BBC.
Thanks for watching!
Collateral is one of his best movies.
I really hope Jamie and TC do another movie someday.
Don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. With all the Katie Holmes thing....
@theplourde ... That ain’t gonna happen. Not as long as Jamie Foxx is giving Katie Holmes the ol’ Bologna pony!
CRUISE would spit on his face
They over. He spoke to him about it in advance.
“Sarah Ali .... *DAMN SARAH THAT’S HARSH!* After all, it takes two, he didn’t put a gun to her head. Is he gonna spit in her face also?
“The boy looks good...it’s sickening” 😂
Foxx is just insanely talented. For some reason, maybe because he can do so many things, he hasn't really found the right vehicle for making the most of his capabilities. He's not the biggest star in the world, but he probably should be.
yeah I think I know what you mean. he seems to have an eccentric on-the-spot creativity that would have spawned Jim Carrey esque free rein roles, but his back catalogue seems to be more that of a classic actor. great career though. seems a really funny guy as well
He’s an amazing storyteller
Killed it on TV. Put out an album. Killed that. Did stand up. Killed that too. A hell of a lot of great movies. Killed ever single one. Great dad. Great guest/interviewee. Most of all, goes out of his way to help a lot of young artists
Most talented man in Hollywood.
wow. love Jamie Fox.
Well said ❤
I usually hate celebrity interviews, I’ve got better things to do, but that was fantastic. Such an interesting conversation between both. Very happy to eavesdrop on that one.
I'm kinda shocked that he hasn't gotten a Netflix standup yet he could entertain a crowd all night with jokes, impressions, piano solos and singing.
Jamie foxx really captured ray in his true essence truely did man justice.
The is the most accurate al Pacino I’ve ever heard
In my opinion, Jamie Foxx is the most talented actor in the world today.
He plays music like a professional (Ray), he can do stand-up (Def Comedy Jam), he can act in every movie regardless of theme.
He is just incredible!
Jamie Foxx gives stellar performances into everything🤣 😍🥰
He sings ((sangs) he acts. He does impersonations he dances and he was born in Texas ❤
Jamie is an outstanding “you name it”
he has so much range and talent 🙌💯
Impressions of Oprah are always spot on 😂
And Jamie Foxx is a global treasure
I think Jamie is one of the most talented, yet underworked performers of our time. And that's kinda sad.
I never really gave much thought to Jamie Fox career ... but , holy cow ... the body of work he has accumulated... and his talent ! He IS a force to be reckoned with , hands down !!
"There's that English voice again Jamie...." 😂😂😂
I realized that Jamie, apart from being a terrific actor, is a good at impersonating. It reminded me of when he imitated John Legend, while singing Toys R Us on Jimmy Fallon's talk show, does anybody remember that moment?
czcams.com/video/dGidYBqBHVw/video.html 😄
I know it’s late but I watch that clip every few months
Jamie is just plain likable! And underrated. This reminds me, someone once said that serious comics made for great actors, Jamie certainly fits the bill in my humble opinion.
The range that Jamie has in his acting career is amazing. Hands down, one of the best actors out there!.👏👏👏🇵🇷
Always said and can never be said enough. This is interviewer is peak class with the way he conducts these sit downs. You can tell how much the guests enjoy themselves.
Love Jamie Foxx. He is such a genius, one of the funniest comedians, ever, and he is timeless.
OMG Jamie Foxx can do absolutely everything!
One of the best interviewers ever!
Jamie Foxx is so incredibly talented...he can do anything! And such a great guy.
Jamie Foxx what an underrated actor and comedian!
JF is one of the greatest actors in the last 30 years .
He’s mesmerizing to watch in almost everything he’s works on.
11:43 even his impression of a door is good! 😂
Jamie is so wonderfully and freakishly talented in so many ways, acting, music, comedy, impressions, etc - and then you add the cherry on top that he always seems so nice and down to earth. I really hope you are recovering from whatever it is that ails you, Jamie. The world would be a much poorer place without you in it. Prayers and light to you. 🙏❤🩹
Jamie foxx needs more recognition than he currently has hes way underrated!
Jaime always seems like a genuine nice celebrity just enjoying his life
Jamie Foxx, a class by himself, comedian, actor entertainer, singer, Father etc. He got it all
I love how interviewers from the U.K conduct interviews. They ask great questions and actually allow the person to answer them. Unlike a lot of American journalists and such. I think I'm just tired of America lol. Great video
his impressions are OFF THE CHAIN
Talking about underrated actor!!The man is the definition of talented.
Jamie Foxx what an impressionist!!🎤💕💕
Calling Al Pacino “ Scar Father”!!😂😂🤣
What a great interview!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Best BBC interviewer/broadcaster in 20 years. Hats off Sir! Always brings his A-Game and the guests feel it & respond to it.
Need to echo that this was a great interview and props to interviewer. It's easy to take for granted but it's a special skill and this guy naturally knows how to have a thoughtful conversation. We need more like this!
His Quincy Jones is SO good, oh my goodness! I've never heard anyone do Quincy
Foxx is a national treasure. One of the most talented performers to ever live. Possibly the GOAT. Comedy/acting/music on a level that is unparalleled.
Jamie is one of my favorite actors he gets better with time..
Awesome interview! It flowed very smoothly; great questions; and Jamie Foxx is immensely talented. I could literally watch this for hours.
That was an awesome interview thank you very much. Jamie Foxx is a legend. I have seen a few of his movies but from now on I will be seeing ALL of his movies.
Jamie Foxx's is more Al Pacino than Al Pacino himself
IKR!!
I'm so excited to watch Just Mercy!!
Probably the best interview I’ve ever seen. Also the interviewer is amazing for allowing his guests to speak. Love it.
Amazing interview and recap of Jamie Foxx movies to that date!
I love J Foxx. Greatest talent ever. Music, acting, comedy (especially the impressions) and even sports back in High School. Bless that man! Fantastic interview too, I love when the interviewer is a fan
The interviewer...such a warm and personal style of interviewing. Really refreshing! 💜 As for Jammie - no one is more multi-talented than this guy - amazing actor, great at impressions, singing and playing a piano. Over and above that he is one the best story tellers of our time. It don't get better than Jammie. 🌻
First time seeing this guy, absolutely love his style of interviewing, you feel pulled in and engaged with the clips and the back and forth with Jamie, who is EVERYTHING,
Jamie can't help but outdo himself. I am overwhelmed by his talent. When I saw 'Ray', I was blown away. After watching this interview I'm going to have to watch the rest. Jamie is someone who I would love to meet.
I absolutely Love Jaime fox.everything he touches turns to gold.kudos to you JF.💛
I love Foxx even more after this interview. He's everything. I'll start the list, talented, handsome, on pitch, funny, on point, paints pictures with his sound effects, endearing, on and on...he's everything.
This is one of the best interviews ever. Insightful and focused on Jamie’s work and not in none sense personal life or politics or CRT or anything like that!! Great Job by the interviewer!!!!!!!
I enjoyed this interview so much. I felt that I was travelling along through his experiences.
Big ups to Ali Plumb, an interviewer on point 🙏🏼
This such a good interview, and I've seen the others where he repeats a lot of things, but all those other reviews are all in one here.
Great interview, very respectful of the interview/interviewee to let each other talk. Still want to see Just Mercy though, looks incredible.
Great interview from both guy's! Jamie's so blessed with talent
Just watched this interview with Ali Plumb. Immediately subscribed. Being present with a monster talent like Jamie Foxx, and hitting that sweet spot of being himself and not getting in the way, but really adding to the discussion in such a laid back fashion is so unusual and it's very much appreciated. Just so good! Also, I find it hard to believe that, along with being an incredible actor, and a funny as hell comedian, Jamie's ability to not only sound like someone he's imitating but to be able to capture their super subtle little mannerisms that capture and defines the person really leaves me wondering how one person can have so damn much talent. What a gift he is.
Thanks Jamie
love Jamie ...
the best out there...never cocky or diva like most overrated actors...hes the real deal
Magnificent interview! Jamie Fox is INCREDIBLE and seems so down to earth. His stories are always, they make you go, WOW!
Great interview! Hard to stand out given all of Jamie Foxx's interviews are great
This was great! Would love to have a pint with Jamie Foxx.
The Best Interview I Have ever seen memorable
How can you not love Jamie fox? Always so inviting.... by far the best interviews so well done when synced up with the movies being referenced etc. outstanding !
Hats off to the interviewer. You are the best I have seen on a long time. I love everything that has Jamie Fox in it, I can always guarantee a good laugh.
