    This has to be one of the best panel discussions of a movie I have ever seen, everyone is articulate and intelligent, the questions were not soft ball but very insightful. The first question Christophe answered was perfectly done, Samuel of course is always brilliant, the man next to him on the end brought a point I hadn't thought of before...the plantation as a corporation. Before Tarrantino hangs it up I hope he does another Grindhouse movie, the final chapter of the Kill Bill series and a prologue to Pulp Fiction.

      @waynemyers2469 Před rokem +2

      I know what you mean, there are directors/screen-writers whose work often has a "supernatural" aspect to it, Sergio Leone is one and so is his (although we may not have seen it at the time) acolyte, Clint Eastwood ...and Stanley Kubrick, to name another...and Tarantino makes four and if you look at the movies they make they all seem to lean heavily upon three concepts: Justice, violence and change and always with a hint of inevitability about the Justice. All the guilty will suffer and sometimes the innocent too because violence begets violence but the guilty WILL ALWAYS suffer, it's inevitable...and that's where the supernatural slips into their stories because, coincidentally, that's exactly how God does things...

    Watching Quentin films is draining because after each one, if you haven't developed an irreversible crush on at least 2 characters and a renewed love of Quentin, you probably didn't get it. Also developed new respect for Mr. SL Jackson for agreeing to play this despicable character, because no one else could have done it justice (at least not with this dark humor). I LOVE Django Unchained.What a great movie and what a sweet movie. The love story between Django and Broomhilda was perfect. The bloodspatter was a bit excessive, but so what.

      T Stanton acting isn't difficult at all. Sometimes your co actors and relationships with them is. But acting is cake walk for an actor. I can play any character and I have fun doing it. The only character I never want to play is one that does anything to children. I couldn't act that part.
