if a kung fu panda movie is dedicated to being an homage to another piece of media, that’s high art
Kung Fu Panda definitely takes notes from Kill Bill, but it isn’t a Kill Bill parody. It’s an homage to the Kung Fu genre, of which it naturally follows similar beats to Kill Bill. I think Quenton sounded like he thinks Kill Bill was the beginning of Kung Fu cinema, or something ridiculous like that.
@@DoctorCyan are you serious dude? The kung fu genre? First of all it’s the samurai genre. Kill bills are SAMURAI movies. Second look up lady snow blood to see the staggering stealing of shots. Also the lady snowblood movies are great and would reccomend. Kill bill 1 also has western influences

@@jeffrahmon7892 scorsese is still a better director than him also the things he said about marvel were kinda facts tho
The way this video was ended was a truly perfect tribute to a wonderful director. Well played.
Oh yeah he is gonna retire after his FINAL movie :(
@@TheArtisticGhost he's not that shure about that. At least not as much as he used to be.
@@Trueffelschwein4 i heard that after he does his horror based film it would be last from him, idk yet
@@TheArtisticGhost ive seen an interview where he said he might won't retire after his 10th movie. Only time will tell, i guess. Still hope for us tough. :)
@@Trueffelschwein4 maybe he will take a big pause
Great interview, asked fabulous questions and obviously a Tarantino fan! We have all the box sets, the wallet, the razor the key ring…..
The best interviewer BBC has had in so long. He's been here a while now and I hope he sticks around because he's just so great
This is so good and so masterfully cut. Just a incredible video. Thank you BBC & whoever cut this.
Omg Garret I always knew you had great taste!
Omg garrett 😦
LOL GARRETT WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE YOURE NOT A REAL HUMAN
It is so Well edited
@@XZ-III thank you for calling it editing, everyone else in this thread calls it cuts? Me and you understand it’s called editing
I can't imagine a wrld without a Quentin Tarantino Movie.
archit misal Easy it was the world before 1991. Lol. But I see what you mean. I would be sad if we didn't have his movies. They're all quality in my opinion.
Have you ever thought about the fact that we probably live in a world where an AMAZING director does NOT exist because he died in a car accident or something when he was a child? Because that's the world we live in. Lots of potential great people die every day, so it's really a miracle when geniuses live and do things.
@@krautgazer huh? Wat r u talking about? There are 7.8 Billion people n dis world, @ least 20% or more of dez 7 billion r going ta b amazing director's. Quetin Tarantino is apart of dat 20%
@@lildrew607 20% of the world are going to be film directors? I don't think that's right but okay haha what I meant though is that a lot of people die every day and we lose talents every day... Some talents who never produced anything. I know it's a sad thought but it makes you wonder how many more amazing artists we could have had and we will never know...
@@krautgazer u probably right 20% is a stretch😂, but we always have new talented people coming out of no where. Plus wit today's technology, we can really inspire true prodigies. Quentin Tarantino is n inspiration for dez prodigies.
There is a palpable level of respect in this clip between the interviewer and interviewee and it's makes for a great time, the editing was also spot on, well done sir, well done
This might be the best conducted AND the best edited interview I've ever seen. Well done.
There was a fan in the editing room putting in the extra hours. Appreciated.
You can feel that this video was very personal to the editor.
You know this 👊🏿
The way Tarantino reacts to a reporter shows how good they are, first time seeing this interviewer Ali but he asks interesting questions that start a casual conversation.
Lock him down, this is how it’s done.
Rekabkram100 so just because he's riding his dick he Is a good interviewer? Dont be ridiculous, nobody should fucking do that, tarantino is a fucking narcissist.
@@mrsuperstarxv6006 Firstly, this is not Diane Sawyer. The interviewer is not there to ask Quentin questions about his absentee father and tumultuous childhood. This is an interview to promote Quentin's movie. The literal definition of a good interview is to ask interesting, nuanced questions that demand the interviewee to think. Most interviews are conducted in the same pattern and with the same bland questions, questions that the interviewees have already answered dozens of times. This guy has actually sat down and thought of questions that involve Quentin. I cannot see the problem here.
Gothic,"purse",forearm tip:flat cacoon "wallet no repeats" Bulie and Dad reads eternal life everlasting . . . drown ))))
Mr Superstar XV What do you want? Some inflammatory “hard-hitting” interview of a fucking filmmaker? Quentin’s not running for President. He’s just doing press for a damn movie. We don’t need interviewers to ask inflammatory questions of him just to make headlines. This is entertainment, and this is how an entertainment-based interview is done.
This guy smashed it with the questions! great interview, and Quentin is just a down to earth legend
This guy knew the assignment, great questions made for a great interview!🙌🏽
This interview is a masterpiece, the interviewer, the editing, Tarantino actually enjoying the interview and answering with enthusiasm, and a shrek reference to top it all, everything is perfect
I hate shrek but agree with your post
@Adam Ratman ?
Imagine Quentin Tarantino making a superhero movie like Watchmen??? Bro that would be dope.
I imagine it would be something like The Boys (great show btw)
@@danielrios5778 The Boys fucking sucks. That ending ruined the entire season.
Al Morar from what Simon pegg said in an interview I kinda don't want tarintino touching it , not saying he's a bad director but he has these certain styles of directing and Star Trek would be weird with mass amounts of blood would just look weird
Al Morar that's what I like about him he has a certain style like Edgar Wright or Guillermo del toro so if he can turn anything into gold I think it should be his own sci fi movie using his style he described his Star Trek idea like pulp fiction in space I'd rather see a original Tarantino sci-fi film rather than a instalment into a well known universe
Al Morar
A Tarantino Star Trek film won’t have the same feel as Star Trek. It will end up being Pulp Fiction in Space with Star Trek slapped on top of it.
The music question was so great that’s one of my favourite things about his films
