Viltrox 27mm f1.2 is a second lens in a Pro line-up from Viltrox (the first one was the Viltrox 75mm f1.2 lens) and it is really outstanding! Viltrox 27mm f1.2 is very sharp even at f1.2, even in the corners, has almost zero distortion, minimal chromatic aberrations and good flares performance, as well as the most pretty and creamy bokeh I've ever seen in an APS-C lens. Viltrox 27mm f1.2 is a full frame equivalent of about 40mm lens, has a customizable function button, AF/MF switch, an aperture ring which you can click or de-click, USB-C port for firmware updates, weather sealing and metal construction. Sigma 23/30mm f1.4 lens but no competition at f1.2.

Great review. There is no aps-c competitor at this focal length and aperture combination IMO. I have this lens for the X mount and want it for my E mount, because it is just that good. I also have the 75mm 1.2 Pro and love that lens as well. I hope Viltrox comes out with a 56mm 1.2 or 50mm 1.0 Pro next, and later down the line something like a 133mm 1.8 or 2.0 for a 200mm full frame equivalent. With what they have accomplished with this lens, I believe that they can definitely do it.

i have the viltrox 75mm 1.2 and now I'll bought this lens to replace my sigma 18-35mm 1.8. I'm very exciting to use this lens with my Sony fx30.

Sirui has some good 1.2 auto focus lenses in the sniper series too for apsc cameras ! I need to look for a footage comparison video on the tube though to say which is best !

Nope, focus breathing can only be fixed on the native Sony lenses (made by Sony themselves), so the focus breathing will be the same on this lenses forever

I have done focus pulling a few times using the lens and in real world use it is not bad at all and in most cases not very noticeable.
