What is Tank Crew?
A new ground-breaking tank simulator by the team that brought you IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad. Drive some of WWII’s greatest battle tanks in close quarters ground combat during the Battle of Kursk, namely in the Prokhorovka sector. In the largest mechanized battle of all time, you can command your tank crew in both single-player and multiplayer environments and battle the enemy in intense missions and grueling combat. Was a nice each, would love to see some campaigns biased on Beutepanzers such as the T-34 747(r) or Panzerkampfwagen B-2 740 (f) or even a M4 748 (a), or some of the mashed tank like the KV-1 with the German 7.5 cm cannon
Unfortunately none of those are in the sim.

Huh, I don't know if recent patches changed this mission, but it is MUCH harder for me. The only time I've stopped the initial attack my tank was too broken to drive on. That was with taking out like 7-9 tanks myself... Still fun though, but weird that it was so easy for you.
no i dont think they changed it cuz this mission was always hard he just got lucky for some reason and i cant undersrand it
Another great video with a sadly overlooked tank, but the Pz III is a good little tank, if a tad outmatched by the mid point
Speed seems to be a strong point for the Pz III. It appeared to move so much faster than the Pz IV and Tiger he drove earlier.
@@Nightcrawlerfive I agree, especially the Tiger, which was known for being a tad underpowered, the 5cm gun on the pz III is still useful
@@peteberry6425 It can be quite a nimble machine, but its downside are the thin tracks that really hinder it off road. Would be nice if we could have an ostketten (and winterketten) modification for the Panzer III's and IV's.
@@Mach-2-Fishbed That would certainly help it, the increase ground space would be a definite bonus, just have to see if any such thing is implemented

I’m sad you didn’t get to play a panther
I don't know what went wrong in my game, but it took more that 15 restarts for me to survive the t34 at the beginning. Usually all p3 get wiped out or I get killed. I try to defend and get killed, I hide a bit and get killed. Multiple time ai shot through the forest and kill me as well xD I could only manage once that one p3 and me survive and finish that mission.
I have to admit it was a tad to easy for me. Not sure how you got the opposite experience!
I'm starting to hate this mission...always getting shot right in the turret visors no mater what I do...kinda frustrating...but keep trying to finish it
Edit: The 9th run made it to the End.. had to hide like a coward behind the houses (didi't worked in the runs before but at last) but so far the campaign was a joy - and surely to watch your run through

Another great episode, just a bit disappointed, I was secretly hoping for more action against waves of T34's. The Pz3 can raise hell against the T34's, in the right conditions combined with better training and gunnery.

Man it must've been demoralizing for the Germans when they withdrew from Kursk.
Does the game have any of the T-34-85 and other such late-war Soviet tanks? It would be interesting if you did another 1 for 1 with a Soviet (advance to Berlin) style followed by say a Panther or Tiger II (hold the Red Tide) sort of thing. Keen for whatever is in store!
No such tanks in-game currently. Mind you, this is their first time putting such detailed user controlled tanks in IL-2 and this pack was focused on the battle of Prokhorovka. Who knows, maybe more in the future and I hope they continue! Oh, and 2 more vehicles (collectors) are in the works, a GAZ-MM with a 25mm AA gun (should be out by the end of the year) and a Sd.Kfz. 10/5 with a 20mm FlaK 38 (mid next year).

The real question is, do we get another SH3 run? or even 4 with Dark Waters v6 mod? for extreme difficulty? :D

I think that tally is right off and clearly wasn't working correctly......l believe that your AFV tally was higher......with your destruction of at least 33 AFV......And 17 ATG Artillery Pieces

German Pazner tacics from ass.... Tanks groups were more mixed with huge foot troops support. Heavy tanks ahead on wings middle and inside light. Missions are history shit made too. Complitely loosing game content great ability to make realistic and epic battles with shiting in pants effect. Besides wing of IL-2 will smashed such column of PZIII driving openly on road in few minutes too... Real history wrote in fact much more heroic and epic scenarios with sea of blood mostly on Russia side with kill ratio 1:8 - 1:40 on German side in 1943y and Tigers and Panthers appearing fact. Nice author not used T34/85 which not exist in this battle. But where are mass used KV-1?:-)
