What is Tank Crew?
A new ground-breaking tank simulator by the team that brought you IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad. Drive some of WWII’s greatest battle tanks in close quarters ground combat during the Battle of Kursk, namely in the Prokhorovka sector. In the largest mechanized battle of all time, you can command your tank crew in both single-player and multiplayer environments and battle the enemy in intense missions and grueling combat. This game need so badly a dynamic campaign with alternate reality progression and ending. Few games manage to nail this nowadays. I have memories of the venerable EF2000 almost 25 years ago...
For the price of this DLC It NEEDS a Dynamic Campaign mode...............Before I buy it.
@@Wolfhound223 A single tanker would never change the course of the war. I think a dynamic campaign with alternate reality works for modern scenarios but not at all for WW2.
@@Wolfpack345 Alternate reality could be a what if campaign, not one where the war depends on your actions.
i would love an is-2 or t34-85 campaign set in late '44 to the end of the war
I think it would be a nice finishing touch after tense battles where you suffered a few hits to take a look at your own vehicle, seeing how battered it is.
Great series and well done. This TC campaign gives us a slight hint of how gruesome these tank battles on the Eastern front must have been. I can't imagine being one of those countless men for whom sitting in their rolling steel coffin was their reality, just imagine observing your fellow tanks left and right blowing up one by one and burning out, knowing there is nothing in particular that differentiates the tank you're in from the others. And then, you hear your commander getting the order to advance and push the attack... In that respect, TC is incredible, conveying this feeling of dread.
Though I find the TC series fascinating, I think I'll stick to air combat myself. The freedom of flying offsets the horrors of wartime slaughter I think. BTW, it won't prevent me from looking forward to your German campaign :D
Your kill acquisition increased exponentially towards the end of that campaign. Went from a green commander to a battle-hardened ace in a few short days. Such was the nature of Kursk I guess. So bloody excited for the Last Chance series, I hope to see some Tiger 231 type antics during it!
I started the Last Chance campaign. Just messing around. What a different experience it is!
Wolfpack345 I’d imagine you’d be thoroughly enjoying the punchy 88 on the Tiger after having endured the frustration of the T-34 peashooter for ten missions. I’m sure you’ll get a first-hand taste of why such an aura and mythos developed around the Tiger during the war, and only grew with time after the war. Happy hunting!
You're getting pretty good at this game. The same cool headedness you exhibit commanding a submarine.
Yeah I think I am getting better at it too. It has actually gotten me interested in Tank combat.

I really loved this series man. I don't know why but when the tank crew stuff came out on IL2 I never even gave it a second thought. I just started watching this series out of boredom but I fell in love with it and even started the campaign on my own (still just getting a hang of the controls.) But I was mainly posting this to say that I hope you do a series on the German campaign, but you are saying just that in the video as I'm writing this haha but very very cool man. I'm excited to see it.

This was a really fun watch! I've been holding off on buying the Tank Crew expansion for IL-2 because it's still in early access, but after watching this series, I'd be interested in trying it myself. Hyped for the next campaign, is it also going to be ten missions?

Kursk was not a turning point. The whermacht was already beaten on a strategic scale and could not hope to win the war at that point.
