@@QuizmasterNr I got a logitech x52 Pro. It was the only one I could find in stock if I'm honest. Feels pretty good though and very snazzy colours

@@Drnken229 yeah the ground textures and ground/foliage lighting DEFINITELY needs a lot of work. I've played a lot of it still and the gameplay quality/experiences totally make up for it

Pack nice work working as a squad locating the SU152 I could hear the concern of the panzer commander who located it. Really good video. I like the way you record the battle in game and then show other views of the battle it really helps illustrate what is going on. Thumbs up!

very very well played.....really good actual team work right there.....although i was loving you lot giving em an ass kicking... i really got my hopes up for that Sherman, the way he broke off the road and swung around the building i was excepting him to turn back towards you, instead he drove off into the woods, i was just hoping that someone was going to give you a decent fight, felt an epic push moment coming on but sadly for what ever reason he went from hero to potato..
which to be fair could have been a wide variety of reasons, from messed up key binds to not realising where you were or how close you was, also to be fair driving a tank whilst being inside with full interior views and doing it solo without one other person to be commander \gunner\ driver is a huge work load, its easier to work the tank alone, less comms but your not always in right seat at the right time........lol that SU-152 driving by or was it a 122 at point blank , if you had been in commander cupola you might seen him buts hard to be in two places at one
also epic retreat whilst blind firing, alot of people that make the transition from arcade shooters to realism shooters....espically rising storm games don`t shoot unless they can see 100% however if you can put the smallest amount of pressure on ur enemy its better than nothing

This looks very nice. How similar are the tank controls to aircraft? I am thinking of trying this myself since I've heard it looks amazing in VR. I just don't know if I can adjust my simpit controls to work.
I play it with my HOTAS and pedals; forward/backward is bind to my throttle, left/right is bind to pedals, main gun up/down is bind to hat on my stick and so on...works very well for me. The key binds for Tank Crew has it's on interface....so it does not change the bindings for aircraft.

Do the wrecked tanks stay on the map? Surely that should clue in some of those tankers just hauling down the middle of the main road if they see a smoking graveyard of Shermans up ahead.

How does IL-2 handle tank skins/camo? Is it a selectable preset or is it like you customize it in game or can you just make a skin in a software and port it over?

Man, some of these enemies are just muppets.
To be fair it is much harder than it looks. Situational awareness is extremely difficult to maintain in these tanks.

Anyway, in most cases above, buttoning up wouldn't make any difference in their survival chance. Charging blindly one by one through the main street like that.

I'd love to play tank crew, I just can't justify 80 bucks for it.
I have certainly gotten my moneys worth out of it however it is understandable that the cost is off putting. It will go on sale pretty soon I think.

its possible for shermans to shoot on the move because they have a gyro for their gun. but only for up to 25? kph
The gun stabilizer was removed on lend lease tanks.
And it was considered so top secret that basically no crews were taught to use or maintain it properly. However, it was never really intended for accurate main gun fire on the move. The stabilizer mostly just kept the gunner's sight on target during the move from hull down to turret down positions.

I think why people asked in the past if it is multiplayer is because there seems to be almost no challenge except the last 5 mins of the clip... enemy just goes in and dies, no coordination as if AI.

While the interplay is very enjoyable and the coordination impressive, yet the AI for the Soviet armor is miserable! Typical reaction to being under fire is to stop and be motionless without even traversing their turrets!

I'm about to join the Canadian military and being a gamer im looking at laptops that can run cool sim games like this and post scriptum and shit, cause lugging around a pc to different postings sounds boring and a laptop would suit my needs. I know sweet fuck all about pc' and laptops so I ask yalls what kind gaming laptop should i look at?

just don't keep shooting a dead tank with no crew it's a waste of ammo and you end up revealing yourselves to the enemy.
The only reason you know it is dead is due to the external view. Information I did not have while playing.

Frame rate is not really an issue for me.
