Check weps on the Beaufighters, they might have 20mm cannon - which can be used to chew up DDs and Subs.

Great to see representation of our RAN boys in war on the sea! We played a pivotal role in North Africa and the Mediterranean during ww2. That was why we where so susseptible to Japanese attack in 1942, we had our whole military fighting in the Med! Great video and I definitley look forward to watching the rest of the series! I'll sub to stay in the loop ❤

19:42 I want to maybe help remedy why you may be seeing misinformation when it comes to ships.
In a past update, they changed the recon mechanic a bit. Instead of the game showing exactly what is in a task force, it will rather give you a rough guess of what is in a task force. In this case, it is using a different ship icon. Which is interesting.

Merchant 1 is what I would call it.
Gibraltar and Alexandria make much more sense as your home bases btw. Malta was the historic home port of the Mediterranean Fleet from its formation through to WWI, true, but they moved to Alexandria during the Abyssinian Crisis in the late 30s to get beyond the range of Italian strike aircraft, and spent virtually all of WWII based there.

31:30 well that's a bug...Gearings were American DDs, and very late war ones at that!😂

Cool Video, I dislike though that this mod has the Gearing Class Destroyer in the German Navy, in which none were given to the germans until after WW2 for the formation of the new navy. (I Also dislike North Africa not being under Vichy France but that can be given a pass)
Don’t rely on auto attack with air attacks.. manual is the way to go, you’ll find yourself managing too much as well so have them circle at a safe distance as you use a few to strike individual targets.

2:11 Largly due to the fact that the Royal navy sank it. Not one of our finest moments, attacking our defeated ally to make sure the axis couldn't get hold of their ships.

If those torps had about 20 more meter in them, that would've been 2 heavy cruisers lmao
since the australian got some ships from england you maybe find the classes you need for your taskforce there. the unmodded war on the sea can be quite boring after a while. can you give us the link for the mod?

It upset me when you were identifying the ships but you were looking at them from the left but the book shows their right side. Other than that great video!!
Why is a Gearing class DD under German control?
How the Hell Gearing class destroyer was exist on Mediterranean sea? also, wasn't become available on 44? even why the hell on axis side?

hello. if you sea ship icons on the map you can figure out what it should be. if it is very fast it is a naval task force with destroyers and perhaps heavy and light cruisers. sometimes a battleship if it has enough maximum speed. if it is only fast it is a submarine in most cases.
German cruiser and destroyer shouldn't be in the med

That's why you have a Ukrainian Front, Armee Gruppe Ukraine ( Nord / South ) etc.
Ukraine as a region exist for hundred of years
Ukraine as a distinct country exist since well 1917 ( Ukrainian SSR )
It was a region of the Russian empire, like Finland, baltic states, etc.
