    Xy is an option if you can afford a large hospital bill. Xy and Joan is such a glass cannon March.

      I get that. In the kingdom that I am in, we don't worry about hospital bills. It's all about maximum firepower, clearing field, and burning flags. I'd also point out in that in Ark of Osiris, there is no hospital bill. If you don't have the resources and speed ups to cover it, XY + Joan is probably not a great pair. Probably better off with Atilla + Takeda or Pakal + Harald. Marches that trade well, but don't really help a murderball.

      A glass cannon that effective in murderball. You won't easily targeted if you know how to position your march and timing

    The honest thing I don’t understand is the second vs the tick in this game. When I time say a Richard his skill cycle clocks in at 5 or 6 seconds. Are you all mixing up the second vs the ticks?

      Well, you are asking a good question. I've always assumed 1 second = 1 turn, but I've never actually clocked it. So yes, when I say 1 second, I mean 1 turn. There is no attack speed manipulation, so even it is 1.2s per turn, it's all equivalent.

      @@PsychOutROK also the 3 seconds of say Nesky skill damage bonus in theory should reach Joan's extra active skill if we're timing by seconds and not ticks. I'm thinking the Asain creators don't understand this. 3 seconds is not faster than the ticks on this game. Ticks seem to equal to 2 ticks = 1 second from the look of it

      When you look at the activation of the secondary commander it's comes directly after the primary. Yes its a tick in between the two but a full second I'm not sure.

      @@pound4pound380 I'm not sure, but it seems like 1 second = 1 turn when I look at the battle reports. As I said, I've never timed it, but when I do Nevsky + Joan reports, the second cast (Joan's 4th skill) of Sacred Banner is still getting the Nevsky boost.

      @@PsychOutROK ok. Can you time say a regular 1000 rage commander like Richard. I'm get 6 seconds. Correct me if I'm wrong. But hes is no where near 10 seconds

    Do you think a joanP + Harold gimmick march is worth analyzing its performance such as you did in this video?
    Because of the wording on joan's 4th skill, I am curious to see if harold's 4th skill will trigger sacred banner, and all its effects on rage/skill cycle/cooldown of sacred banner.
    And Harold's benefit to infantry is a bunch of base+stacking atttack and march speed, however, harold's defense reduction only applies to infantry, so using cavs could hypothetically nullify the downside of that skill.
    Feel free to let me know i'm just being crazy haha, but if you found it interesting enough, i would love to see you put out a video on the idea above.

      Hey! Thanks for asking about this. I was about to say "no I can't" because I don't have Harald maxed, but I realized I do have him at 3111, so I can test it. And, it happens to be Karuak Ceremony, so I did. I didn't record the testing, but I did confirm the effect works. When The Blessed is not in cooldown, Harald's Stamford Bridge can proc his primary skill (Berserker) which subsequently procs Joan's The Blessed, and then Sacred Banner. I have save the report and will try to record a video on this. I've also found out some other things with this test that are worth knowing.

      As it turns out, I was wrong!! I just posted a video about it today (including battle report testing). I read the previous test I mentioned wrong, and re-ran it again. This retest confirmed that Harald's 4th skill (procing his first) does NOT trigger Joan's 4th skill (procing her first).

      Thanks! I can try to do that. The reality is that the numbers you see in the excel spreadsheet are the averages from 10,000 simulations of each of the 48 different conditions run for 60 seconds each. So that excel sheet contains the summary (mean, medians, frequencies) from 2,880,000 turns of simulated battle. If you haven't see the previous video with Nevsky + Joan, you might take a look at it because I explain the simulations I ran a bit more in depth there.

      I know what you mean. I will likely have some tests fights coming up here soon, but the KVK is over so real fights are unlikely to happen soon. The reality is that there is no way to simulate all the things happening (buffs and debuffs) in a real fight enough times. These simulations represent our best approximations of fight scenarios where your march isn't directly targeted. I have shared some real fights and reports in previous videos though, you might find them in some of those.

      @@PsychOutROK being a cav guy i really need to check what pairing I can do as for now I have A/T, XY/William, Saladin/Aeth. Nevsky is 5111 and i forgot the spin for Joan as I was busy.

      A good question. I don't rally -- really ever, my gear just isn't good enough in 254 to be a rally lead -- but I see a couple of logical options. The first is to just use this same build. It should perform pretty well in rally situations. The second would be to go to Entrenched in the conquering tree, undying fury in the cav tree, Galea in the cav tree (cav health), and put everything else into the skill tree to get 4/5 in feral nature. That build ought to perform well in rallies against infantry, mixed, or cavs. If the garrison is archers, you might actually drop the points in feral nature and get Halberd for increased damage to archers. But if they are garrisoning archers against XY + Joan, you are going to wreck them anyway.

    There is no such thing as a 10 second skill cycle even for Honda or Edward. They are at 8 seconds. I time them all

      I'm not sure if you mean skill cycle or first skill fire time, because on commanders with rejuvenate there is a difference. They gain rage after using skills, making skill cycles after their first turn faster.
