you should focus on one commander at a time. You're bounded by equipment and materials too, so if you bring 4-5 weak marches you will just be canon fodder. Is 5xx4 Joan better than a 5551 Saladin or maxed Mina (if you already have those) is the question you should be asking before bringing her to the field.
I've got a first point on her 4th skill when she was already 5521. When the skill description includes a word "damage" it's actually pretty solid. I heard that 5% normal attack damage and just 5% normal attack are not the same.
Yes. (+5% Normal Attack) is .. not (+5% Normal attack damage) and is not the same as ( +5% all Damage) and is not the same as (+5% Skill damage) and is not the same as (+5% Counterattack damage) .
The reality is that any meta commander youre planning to use in the field is worth maxing. sure, you can start using them at less than that in a lot of cases but theyre all worth maxing in the long run.

my Joan is 5215, it is good enough on thr field. the key thing to consider whether or not max a commander is whether you have saved enough gh for the next commander. One of next inf command must be exploding, i don’t believe next inf command are trash, so have to save gf for then to maximize the gh value
As an infantry main I'm not going to max Joan, I need to be sure I have enough sculptures for the new Infantry commanders on the way. I will try to eventuallly 5115 Joan Prime and work on her whenever there is a cavalry wheel.
Nevsky needs a secondary... If William is near complete I say go for William. But if you're just getting started definitely go for Joan of Arc. They are both similar but Joan does a lot more damage over a much broader AOE range.

Probably a blend of value-seeking activities. Eg - more than gems for books, holy knight to 10 for patterns, etc, and then sometimes you move in on something bigger. Generally I feel like vip and books during more than gems is really high value.
I’d stick with the coin rather than dismantle - the cost to dismantle is too steep IMO. Put the coin on whichever commander seems to get focused first. The coin only adds value while that march is getting targeted directly by an enemy.
I'm trying to choose between making jad/zizka garrison and expertising my unfinished commanders (Joan 5425, William 5551 and maybe Sala 5551 and Bertrand 5511). Still can't decide what to do, any suggestions?
Should be worth noting that the % more damage dealt is more valuable on a commander like Joan whos whole design is pumping out at much damage as possible.

if you're using 5 marches with debuff from Nevsky, Scipio and Boudica, one skill cycle where all 5 marches fires off is enough to finished off one enemy march.

@@Insideman666 Nev primary give you more overall burst damage in the first skill cycle. Nev Joan, Xy William. If you are a cav player, you should max her. B/c the number of marches you can bring to the field is limited by your rss/speed up and your equipments, so you want to make your chosen ones as strong as they can be to get the best trades.

Players in my KD are stupid. They think Joan Prime is trash. Too many inf focus players that can’t even field fight properly. They’re obsessed with Pakal/harald and AT/Nevsky.

People have just only about maxed out Xy/pakal/zeno and they're already falling behind. Not to mention All the previous commanders. So might as well just sit on gold heads and run epic commanders for ever. LOL

Look, I don’t agree with everything chis says but I think this is pretty spot on. I got to watch a high level joan in action and the joan/Nevsky damage was staggering.
I tried with 1v1 testing... not great. The only thing Atilla Joan do better is Joan Khan. Joan CC, Joan Mina, even Joan Ceasar and Joan Mehmed are all better than Atila Joan. Atila doesn't have any rage engine, so you will fire your skill long after your enemy already reduce your troop count thus making your skill less effective. Atila reduce your skill damage by 30% but have 50% chance to boost your damage by 25% or 50% but it's a big gamble that it activate on the turn Joan fire off skills, and from what I see, it may not... so you get a lot of reduced damage at very little benefit. Atila doesn't have any defensive stats. You may think he has that 15% skill damage reduction but he has a bad tree which is attack, that does not give any good skill damage reduction while most cav/skill comm will have skill damage reduction from skill tree. So that 15% skill damage reduction doesn't make he any tankier like say, nevsky (and far less durable than Saladin). The only good thing is he may not be targeted as much - and that may be the key since pretty much all marches nowadays will melt in one skill cycle if get targeted by 5 or more marches that contain the 6th gen commanders debuffs.
the ring gives 50% when it's active, but we're looking at the AVERAGE % damage boost of the ring at 5.4%. This accounts for the internal cooldown and proc rate.

Have to laugh about this. Never before have I've seen Chis being like doing a salesman thing for Joan. I get it tho. I hate the fact that I need to max her, as low spender it means so many days 9f working on her that's not even funny. Especially when I have Nevsky to finish, then Scipi P. I opened Joan and Boudi P, but idk if i will do Boudi P at all. Or if I do then I need to leave Joan unworked.
feels like joan dint do great in sales :p p.s.-Boudica prime seems good investment as well if u are lacking 1 archer march or have space for her in ur setup
leave Joan unworked and focus on maxing your Nevsky first. Then by the time you done with NEvsky, if another stronger cav comes, then you can skip Joan. Boudica is good if you already have YSG maxed then that give you another meta march just by maxing 1 commander. BUT, max nevsky first before you work on anything else otherwise you will always be weak and get bad trades.

With the word damage, it is multiplicative buffs. Without the word damage, it is just additive

Try getting your XY to 55x5.

You can only have one of each accessory on a commander. Ring of doom is so high damage that you want one on each of your damage focused-marches.
Use Multiple Horns is better. The chances of Horns is higher than Ring. Ring is like the final talent on archer trees

I don't think so, attila reduces skill damage and she does lots of skill damage. You'd rather pair them differently.

Have to laugh about this. Never before have I've seen Chis being like doing a salesman thing for Joan. I get it tho. I hate the fact that I need to max her, as low spender it means so many days 9f working on her that's not even funny. Especially when I have Nevsky to finish, then Scipi P. I opened Joan and Boudi P, but idk if i will do Boudi P at all. Or if I do then I need to leave Joan unworked.

p.s.-Boudica prime seems good investment as well if u are lacking 1 archer march or have space for her in ur setup

leave Joan unworked and focus on maxing your Nevsky first. Then by the time you done with NEvsky, if another stronger cav comes, then you can skip Joan. Boudica is good if you already have YSG maxed then that give you another meta march just by maxing 1 commander. BUT, max nevsky first before you work on anything else otherwise you will always be weak and get bad trades.
