Definitely did not expect any of that sort of gameplay.
I love truly strange post-apocalyptic worlds like these. We know barely anything about what the world is like now, but what we do see is beautifully bizarre.
By the end i still have no idea what even-
3 species? humans, insects, and whatever the witch was?
Disgusting but clever! Postapocalyptic story about reclaiming the earth by the "lesser" species. I was confused but the ending also satisfied me.
I enjoy short, snappy one-shot horrors like this that hint at vague and uncertain backgrounds, giving you just enough info to imagine things into all the gaps.

The premise is like if the Kytinn, the race of D'Vorah from Mortal Kombat, gained supremacy after Armageddon.
Me and all my homies hate D'Vorah!
But honestly you're not wrong. Only difference is that they seem to be able to enter dreams, or control them in a way.

This feels like a game Vidas would have made back in the day.
Was this made by the same developer of "No One Lives Under the Lighthouse"?? The animatics and vibes are the same, writing style is very similar, and the same sad, tragic kind of cosmic horror blended with terrifyingly disturbing body horror. The monster is even an insect-like creature like the one in NOLUtL; a praying mantis in this and a moth-slash-mantis in NOLUtL. If it's not the same developer, somebody was peeking at someone else's homework, lol!
I really enjoyed this in an awful way. It not only reminded me of NOLUtL but also Yames' games, how the story is more alluded to through the gameplay than actually told to you outright. I always appreciate a game that doesn't treat the player like an idiot and respects you enough to not over-explain everything. It would've been so easy for the developer to indulge in BackStoryPalooza like most do - just leave notes all over the place or have explanatory videos playing on the TVs, but they let you try to work things out yourself and leave it up to your interpretation.

5:21 - The Empire sent a fleet of Star Destroyers to exact revenge for the Tie-Fighter juggling
5:27 - God offers new Tie-Fighters to protect his chosen ant people from the Empire
5:34 - God ascended to perfect ant form, and gave an egg to the Empire, who were threatening to set up a toll booth in space to their sun

The ending... I have a praying mantis as a pet. He's a spiny flower and a really tiny male but still that's an accurate depiction of him when I feed him .1 second late

1. No, I do not want the world to die (giggled my way through intro, as usual), and 2. I can't believe I'm watching this game. It's bloody dreadful! Oh, not the gameplay. The TOPIC!!! Argh! Barf! I stayed away from starting the video as long as I could, but y'all know how it goes - I can only stand just so much time between CJU fixes. I'm recommending Chris' walkthroughs to the American Psychiatric Association in an effort to save as many Americans as I can from their own insanity; it's mental health month here, you know.

Def different and creepy weird… but ultimately kinda boring and really not much pay off for the mundane and repetitive tasks you had to do. Just not it for me personally but happy for those who enjoyed me!!!

No wonder the world is in utter chaos, people suffer, get killed and war all around - look at what kind of twisted and truthfully sick stories comes from THE MINDS of game and content creators. Well done video, like all of your videos that I always enjoy - but an absolute unexpected sick and disturbing game - even if it is pixelated and has weird graphics. And, I don't think I'll be playing this one, I see enough bad and really terrible things happen to people on a daily basis, don't want to play something where you either take pleasure in others suffering or causing their suffering.

the gameplay is repeated for no reason other than making the game longer than 2 minutes... why making a game if u got no ideas for gameplay? just make a short movie and be done with it
As much as I like CJU, there are certain games, no matter how good, that I will NEVER enjoy or get behind. This is one of them. This is why I had been asking for/pushing other games like American Arcadia... but... sigh. Others may enjoy this game. And that's fine. But for me, as a matter of principle, this game... I just cant.
