“I don’t know why Phylicia Rashad thought this was a good role for her.” As it is so eloquently put to George Reeves in the movie Hollywoodland, “Sometimes an actor can’t act, he has to work.”
Love how Joseph always needs to be told what other movies the director they’re reviewing has done. Never fails to amuse.🧐😂🤣
LOL. They truly are the total opposite in meaning that Joseph is like an average audience member (maybe just a step up because he’s married to Nick).
Nick not like an average audience member (VERY Cerebral)….you get the BIG/Confusing words, deep thinking, comparisons of other movies that No one has ever heard of from Nick and the Fashion, Street smarts, & Cosmetology profession from Joseph and they both have GREAT talking with their eyes moments which is a match made in heaven to me. When I first started watching them during COVID I thought that they were just best friends and as more videos that I watched of theirs then that’s when I knew that they are a handsome married couple.
It's helpful for us too.
The daughter really did ruin the movie. She had no connection to her mother and couldnt even muster up a lil emotion at the actual suicide scene investigation. 🙄
I agree 100%
My uncle loves Equilibrium, I call it a poor man’s Matrix.
True story: I could not stand Christian Bale. Don't know why, I just disliked everything about him. Then, I watched "Equilibrium". Now, I never miss a movie he is in. That one so-so movie changed my whole opinion of him. Now, I consider him one of the greats.
The beekeeper is a blast. I had more fun in this movie than i did with the boogeyman, the nun 2 or missing
U should check out evil dead rise
When Joseph said ‘I am putting Jason Statham on my “Worst Hair” list . . .’ for his facial hair-#ComedyPlatinum. 😂
Amen. The beard was a punch line
"Hey guys, I'm about to go in here and tear shit up." Had me rofl
i do love the movie cliche of people slowly putting on their best outfit, giving themselves a once over in the mirror / fixing their shirt, then killing themselves
Nick's expression after he reads his pull quote 😄
Another Jason Statham guilty pleasure. He's on track to be the next Nic Cage but smooth and not as unhinged as Cage 😮
As I was typing "They could have given Phylicia Rashad's character..." Nick finished my thought 😄
I’m sorry but I loved it. Pure dumb fun. I want to watch it again.
Likewise
agreed
🤮 movie too dumb
Yep, I can't wait to watch it again on FiOS instead of the theater 🙂
I saw this film twice, and I still loved it. I’m thinking of owning it when it comes out to dvd.
Joseph cracks me up! Nothing to do with review: And I’ve been meaning to say this for ages: Joseph’s alternative plotline suggestions (of course he doesn’t offer one here) leads me to believe that he could write a great screenplay. If anything, the hair & makeup would be on point. ❤🎞️✌🏾
High key with the hair and makeup and Nick as director
YEP this is what makes them such a great team, they totally need to make a movie!@@tweety11226
Jason Statham vs Fraud Call Centers? 😂
Phylicia Rashad, Josh Hutcherson, Jeremy Irons, wtf is going on here 😂
And Minnie Driver. Indeed what is going on lol
Nick's pull quote & his grin. 😏
"That's Nick" are you absolutely sure that's not the Beekeeper himself, Jason Statham?! Great pull quote from Jas- I mean Nick as well 😂
“the fbi daughter” is sending you know you gotta be a special character for joseph to know your name 😂
I cannot believe there’s an entire film about beekeepers lol. I am here to tell you I used to work in a call center for Comcast/xfinity and they are 100% ripping people off of billions of dollars. 🥺😆
As long as Jason Statham is kicking the shit out of people... I'm in. I'll treat this like a fast & furious and just enjoy the action.
Oh, you will gets LOTS of that. Enjoy.
@@vivaciousom5347 thanks
yes
"She puts on her Sunday Best and K1lls herself..." 😭 😭 😭 😭
This movie was sooooo bad and her daughter saying she lost her v card in a farmhouse is just deplorable script writing. Thanks for the review and all the best 💜
I think lock, stock and two smoking barrels, snatch and wrath of man are Stathams best movies, spy is funny too
Has Fish Jelly ever drastically disagreed on a film? One loving and one hating it? Thanks y’all ❤
czcams.com/video/_c-2hKFmf04/video.html
One thing tho. They had a R rated movie with bee in its name, and they didnt once think to have a death by bees or an attack by bees? Like cmon thats a missed opportunity based on the premise of the film. 😂
After seeing Statham in 'Spy,' I was hoping he would branch out from his usual action star schtick.
Between the trailer and you all's review, 'The Beekeeper' doesn't seem much different from his typical work.
He’s put himself in a box like the 80’s action stars like Sylvester Stallion, Chuck Norris, Charles Bronson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, etc… he’s probably stuck, but making that money so he doesn’t care..
What’s the buzz on this one ?
Honey, please 🙄
I give this movie a 3.5. I agree that Felicia’s character should’ve been a little more with Jason’s character and that the daughter shouldn’t have been in the movie as much. Love the action scenes…and YES Jason’s beard was waaaay too dark.
It's really sad how low Jason Statham and David Ayer have fallen.
The Beekeeper lady sent to take out Jason Statham dressed in hot pink with hot pink colored sparks from the bullets looked comical! She looked like a Batman villain!
Bright was not really for normal people. It was for nerds who like the Shadowrun RPG. Kinda on the same level as the DnD movie.
Jason is always that "man" in any more. he goes in guns blazing and butt kicking..LOL
Finally, a review of this movie that doesn't say it's "a fun throwback to dumb 90s action movies!" It was laughably bad in every way. Thanks for pointing out the stupidity of this turd.
I'm with you guys on this one. Unbearably stupid far too much of the time. The fight between Statham and the Tank Girl replacement beekeeper was a lot of fun and his confrontation with the one-legged assassin was also pretty solid. Otherwise, wow...a one time viewing and that's it.
Finally someone likes SABOTAGE! That movie is so underrated
Most probably going for 'melodrama' - and 😬from Mr Statham! - as it has two Mother figures who were clueless! Joseph grappling with the poorly written characters. Reasoning for characters actions, zero and Nick doesn't think it's even a B-grade! Is 'stinging' good comments😅Yep, for JS fans only😉
the scene when jason was on his knees surrounded by the fbi and the henchmen guys was so confusing cause why is the fbi allowing the henchmen to point guns at jason instead of arresting the henchmen🤣🤣
I understood that scene as the FBI and the henchmen temporarily working together to stop Jason. In other words, the enemy of my enemy is my friend
How did the ending of the beekeeper turn into the beginning of the Meg?
wish BALD KING Statham would make better movies
So the beekeeper is Peaches
OMG, just pressed play, can't wait to see what you guys thought of the movie... I liked it 🙂 I laughed ALOT.
Who else got "Manchurian Canidate" vibes between mother & son in this movie like the mother and son in The Manchurian Canidate?
Pita Bread from Hunger Games is deliciously hateable in this ... Skateboard, bespoke sushi chef, meditation bowl etc
I can’t defend his other, newer films, but suicide squad was famously taken out of his hands when Batman v superman did not meet Warner Brothers expectations. Apparently his cut was much darker and interesting but that’s according to himself. So who knows. I’ll probably skip this one. I’m Stathamed out. He’s just been playing the same character since the transporter films.
I still can’t believe this is David Ayer? I haven’t loved his recent work but I never would have thought he was behind something so bland and bad looking? Yikes! Shout out to Felicia Rashad getting a paycheck at least!? Lol
This wasn’t bad looking at all. Don’t know what you’re talking about.
@@damonestephens8722 For David Ayer, someone that has a signature look and style, this looks generic as hell.
Love Joseph's shirt.
I assumed this would be a dumb fun movie. My wife and I saw Mean Girls instead, which is a musical, and she was not impressed. 😂
Jeremy Irons AND Phylicia Rashad are in this?! WTH is going on??
💯 so bad it's good....i laughed the whole time and would watch a part 2
Sphere was okay, but Street Kings is actually pretty good.
This sounds like a lot of fun. I’m excited to see it
Best movie for being emotionally simple - that's what was good. Comparably to MCU very realistic as well
Great video! 🎉
Love this movie.
I did not get the hint Agent Verona and her mom had a bad relationship. She might not have visited her mom as much as she should, but that does not mean they had a rough relationship.
The movie did address why Agent Verona is trying to stop the beekeeper even though he is trying to get revenge for her mom - she swore to uphold the law and the system in spite of her personal feelings.
And I guess you guys don’t have children’s. A mom will almost always love their children no matter hold bad they are. So, her reaction to her son’s death is understandable even if it is irrational after he pointed a gun at her. Like you said, the Biden kid is a loser with all his privileges like the Derek character, but you would not expect President Biden to abandon him even with all his flaws. That is a parent’s love - to a fault.
Y’all are hilarious😂. I enjoyed watching this movie. It was good escapism. A terrible storyline but so entertaining. I think Agent Parker didn’t just join his side because she didn’t fully know about beekeepers. They are apart of a secret orginization. Her boss was even gaslighted her when she would bring it up. And the mom was crying at the end because she didn’t necessarily see him raise the gun to her head cause she was staring straight. So she would still be shocked about his death. And she was an enabler, so she would most likely still love him the same knowing all of what he did. I’d probably never watch this again, but it was just the bad ass, action movie with explosions that I needed. I’m glad I saw it before it left theaters.
This was just aiiight😂 I love me some Jason❤️ tho.....I've seen worse 🤷🏽♀️ wouldn't watch again lol
Yup, That Coudroy guy was South African
I enjoyed it.
Bright training day dope movies
The movie is about as subtle as a brick to the face. Plot? Thinner than a malnourished Parisian poodle. Dialogue? About as deep as a kiddie pool … or as dense as a bee-hive?!? But here's the thing: it knows exactly what it is. This ain't Shakespeare in the park, folks. It's pure, unadulterated, shoot-em-up, blow-things-up action. Like a greasy cheeseburger, it's bad for you, but undeniably satisfying.
Now, if you can't handle ridiculous stunts and a body count higher than a Cambodian cockfight, this flick ain't for you. But if you're down for some mindless mayhem and watching Statham fold folks like a deck of cards, then this might just tickle your fancy. Me? I enjoyed the whole ridiculous thing. Just turn your brain off, grab a spoonful of raw honey, and enjoy the madness.
It went downhill fast after Fury.
just saw it, and yes it is entertaining despite requiring one to buy into the silliness
People who love films like this have nothing in their head
Joseph I love your shirt! What does it say?
LETS GO LETS DO
Awesome!
I enjoyed it! 😊
I thought this movie was hilarious. I loved it.
This was probably the most ridiculous ex secret agent guy movie i ever seen. Guy took on the entire US government and won. One of the major things i didnt find believable is there wasnt a single sniper person. Seemed pretty unbelievable there wasnt any snipers and they were in the white house like cmon, very ridiculous movie just as expected probably broke my expectations of how ridiculous it was 😂. I didn't see the president twist coming.
Second, love hearing your movie reviews
I loved this movie, Jason Statham is a fuckin monster!!! I won't say the movie is perfect but I enjoyed it from start to finish with only a few issues... i.e.; Clay cares more about the FBI Agent's mom more than she did and I just did not understand that estranged or not, trying to catch the guy who's getting revenge/retribution on the ppl responsible for your mother's death???
Why did they reveal the scanmers too soon. This movie is terrible it started off pretty ok then went down hill rrally fast. 😂 LOL
This whole movie was a bag of ass, especially the daughter (idk how she is an actress at all). But once me and my bff decided that it was going to be a comedy, we laughed at everything after that....cuuuuzzz this cant be a real movie. Something from Tubi
Well I thought it was a fun movie 🤷
I was just talking to a guy who is dying to see this movie. Oy. But I shouldn’t be a snob, I liked the Meg. 😂❤🎞️✌🏾
Equilibrium is a Matrix ripoff.
I gotta watch this movie lol! 😂
Have you seen brother to brother 2004 film?
For me it's a 4 of 5
I think the daughter was trying to stop the beekeeper cus she said theres laws for that so i guess she was following the laws and the beekeeper said when the laws.dont work theres me
It's terrible 🤦
I lost brain cells watching this movie.
🙄
