In my opinion, him actually running and sprinting is much scarier than teleporting. It has a factor that causes the person that's being chased unable to concentrate on surviving. Teleporting is just basically "yes I'm here time for you to die and go back to my nap."

As someone who isn't necessarily fast,yet accidentally scare someone when I walk behind them,the key is silent footsteps and speed walking. I'm constantly conserving energy.
I’ve accidentally snuck up on people and others have also done it to me. It’s entirely plausible that Jason just moves quickly from time to time.
Jason's inability to teleport is actually explained in the newest Friday the 13th movie. One of the main aspects of the third act is Jason's tunnel complex beneath the camp. There are a number of exits all over the countryside, allow him to seemingly just appear anywhere he wants. It's likely the writers put that into the story to definitively answer the teleportation question.

Honestly it's way scarier to imagine jason is just absurdly fast than just teleporting. It seems like he actively torments his victims too, since he could easily sprint to catch them but instead he willingly lumbers towards them.

Actually, in the first movie good mother might be the killer, but who called the vegan camp counselor? When his mother spoke as him, she didn't sound like a 13 year old boy _at all._ But, whoever called that counselor _did._ My theory is that Jason was possessing his mother and killed them _through_ his mom.

I have a theory, everyone in the Scream franchise is super resistant, they mostly all survive life threatning injuries and sometimes brush it off like it's nothing.

I don't think you know how slow 2 mph is.
For the last scene, you'd have to assume he had prior knowledge of the building's layout in order for him to sprint up a separate entrance and meet up with Charles. Otherwise he could sprint himself into a dead end and this assuming he found an entrance without Charles knowing he already went in. Whether he teleports or has some sort of precognition to know where Charles would hide and how to get there first, would still be a part of having a supernatural background.
In Mortal Kombat(which I know isn't canon, but hear me out) he teleports via walking to the side out of frame

Something that could explain Jason's head turn in the dance room could be the fact that the girl is looking at the "hallucinated" Jason. It's a normal reaction to look at what others are looking at

One scenario which MatPat and the teleporting community forgot was in "Jason X" when three guards were shooting Über Jason continuously, not taking their eyes off of him, and he somehow disappears then reappears behind them.

Every debunk he has aren’t good. We never see zombie Jason run for one(when he has multiple chances too), also he’s way to loud to run on the surfaces quiet, the drugs thing is also not true. Weed does not cause hallucinations, and neither does coke + even if they did, its been hours and coke wears off in less than hour + weed takes no more than 2-3 hours(unless you’ve snapped bowl after bowl after bowl)

The alternate entrance explanation doesn't work on the last example, let alone every other time Jason teleports. For the Charles example, it's clear Jason would not have had enough time to cut off or catch up to Charles in just 7 seconds. The evidence of this was even stated in the video. Charles looked back, confirmed that Jason was far enough away for him to safely enter the building, and then 7 seconds later he's chucked out the second story window. No amount of alternate entrances would have gotten Jason up to Charles in 7 seconds.

@@garytaylor8616 There's being "very fast", and then there's being impossibly fast. In order for Jason to go from behind Charles, to this supposed other entrance, he'd have to go past Charles. And at that point, there'd be no reason for him to even go into the building when he could've easily just caught him before Charles got into the building. That's the biggest problem with the "there's another entrance" explanation. Yes, Jason occasionally plays with his prey by walking towards them (assuming he can even run after being resurrected, which is something we've never seen Zombie Jason do), however when has the chance to catch his prey, he does. There is no reason, with how we've seen Jason act, that he wouldn't just catch his victims if he could move that fast.

I think the head turn he made is due to the fact he can see his victim is not in her right mind, he is surprisingly intelligent, he has most of his skill at max, strength, agility, endurance, intelligence, cunning, and most importantly perception.

Man- I love this video. Honestly I never thought about it that much, if Jason could teleport but now- it seems I didn't have to. Also I love the "Prague Defenestration" mention. Honestly didn't thought part of the history from my land would make it into video like this :DDD
So no teleportation. But confirmed parkour/freerunning, both sprint and endurance running, as well as keen situational awareness and ability to process building layouts. Somehow thats MORE terrifying.
I think a reason why people believe he can teleport is not because he moves around so quickly, it's established he can run and is very agile, but I believe it's the fact that in the real life movements (not like the hallucinations) he does so quietly. I watched some of the scenes you've shown and I can't really hear his footsteps, which to me is a big deal since he can't really move around quietly with those big heavy boots he wears.

Well Jason is a revenant, a zombie with a mission, he can’t die until he meets his goal... so basically he’s a ghost with a body. His physical form can change due to different circumstances because he’s technically not real. He grew older, younger, heals from damage, disappears and reappears because he is a ghost that can manifest a tangible body. If he were to finally fulfill his goal or find peace he would finally die for real.
What's his goal? Vengeance?
Well, yeah. He died because camp councillors were too busy doing the lengthways fandango to save him from drowning. He essentially has a Vengeance against teenagers and young adults partaking in the bedroom shuffle. Because it was teens and young adults who let him die.

I don't think Jason has a healing factor because if you pay attention he always keeps his injuries from previous movies and he is shown deteriorating constantly throughout the series

I think that Jason actually had the possession power from part 9 throughout the series. Part 1 he is actually possessing his mom, but not fully taking over because he loves her. Part 2 he is putting bodies around her head cause he think she has the same powers as him, and he is just in some random deformed hillbilly's body. Part 3 he finds his favorite body that is bigger and stronger. He keeps it in part 4 even after its technically dead and starts to decay, he gets confused when Tommy pretends to be a younger Jason, cause he thinks somehow his power has split him into 2 seperate bodies. Part 5 he doesnt know where his favorite body is cause he thinks it was cremated like the mayor says. So he possessed that film's killer, and dresses and wears a mask that reminds him of his favorite body. Part 6 Tommy leads him back to it so he reclaims it even though its been decaying for years, and he uses it until 9 when he finally gives up on it because its in too bad of shape, so he starts shopping around for new bodies. The whole time his real body is the little kid body at the bottom of the lake, and that is the real source of his power. Jason can't really die until that body is destroyed.

I'd also like to point out with the Eva hallucination idea, that it seems wildly unlikely that the writers intended that "Purser/Pursuer" but, as the rest of the movie is not NEARLY as well written as that idea
